Re: The Lego Thread
Damn. I had no idea. Are there any smaller sets? Not sure I can put down $270 on something I have no room to put anywhere.https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Batman-C...-Batcave-76052

Re: The Lego Thread
Pretty sure that is it. I wish the 60's Batmobile was separate.

Re: The Lego Thread
Yes Jang Bricks is the best at the reviews. He is always my go-to reviewer. I think he purchases his own sets as well which makes a big difference. I used to watch The Brick Show's reviews but they have some pretty rose-colored glasses towards Lego sets and never say bad stuff other than wishing there were more minifigs. I know they are given sets to review from lego though and that makes a difference.
That 60's Batcave is pretty cool. I'm not crazy about the modular sets which is why I never got it. I think each individual piece is great, but they are separate builds that don't connect to make a large cave with walls. I think I could take the 60's cave and combine it with the new Lego Batman movie cave and make something really cool but it would end up costing too much.

Re: The Lego Thread
I really like the Lego Batman Movie collectible minifigures in the blind bags. Have 6 so far. Harley Quinn and King Tut were blind buys the other day. The other 4 I got today by feeling the bags for accessories. Got the 4 I wanted so it worked! Don't think I'm gonna go for the whole series but there are a few others I want to get. I really love this Glam Batman minifigure. My favorite of the series.

Also found a retired City set on the shelf at Toys R Us today too. Price was $15.98 and it was the only one there. Strange.

Re: The Lego Thread
Was able to score another Lego Batman Movie polybag that is only given out to kids. It's the Bat signal and also has a double-sided poster and sticker sheet.

Grabbed 6 more blind bags of minifigures. Have 12 of the 20 but I don't want to get the whole set. Only 1 more I really want. Toys R Us actually sells a Lego Batman Movie minifigure display case that holds 16 minifigures. Probably going to get that.

Re: The Lego Thread
This is officially my favorite vehicle so far from The Lego Batman Movie. I love it. Really fun and detailed build. Just a great looking car. The Penguin Arctic Roller.

Re: The Lego Thread
Our local library is having an event today called the Lego Block Party Challenge: Build a Robot. Here with my kids and we built a robot together.

Re: The Lego Thread
Haha thanks. The pieces they had there were probably older than I am. Lol. Well some of them at least.

Re: The Lego Thread
I haven't even gotten done putting together all the Lego sets that my children got for Christmas and my youngest son's birthday. I'm starting to consider finishing the space above my garage (19'x24') and building a massive Lego world in there for the me and the boys.
I need to get pictures of all the sets together once we finally assemble them all. I know for sure we have the following sets:
CITY
60002 - Fire Truck
60004 - Fire Station
60044 - Mobile Police Unit
60047 - Police Station
60051 - High-Speed Passenger Train
60052 - Cargo Train
60075 - Excavator and Truck
60076 - Demolition Site
60081 - Tow Truck
60085 - 4x4 with Powerboat
60091 - Deep Sea Starter Set
60092 - Deep Sea Submarine
60100 - Airport Starter Set
60107 - Fire Ladder Truck
60110 - Fire Station
60114 - Race Boat
60117 - Van & Caravan
60118 - Garbage Truck
60119 - Ferry
60120 - Volcano Starter Set
60126 - Tire Escape
60129 - Police Patrol Boat
60130 - Prison Island
60142 - Money Transporter
60150 - Pizza Van
60152 - Sweeper & Excavator
MINECRAFT
21113 - The Cave
21115 - The First Night
21116 - Crafting Box
21121 - Desert Outpost
21126 - The Wither
My favorite one this far is the Police Station. It has a lot of nice features like the water cooler, built in sidewalk/grass areas, and the traffic gate is awesome.
The next additions I'd like to get is more basic bricks for them to build whatever they want with. I'd like to get some roads and pieces to build sidewalks and connect the city pieces together. I'll probably pick up a new set or two in the 20-50$ range every two weeks or so that we can put together as a family.NFL: Green Bay Packers
