$179.99 for that is a great deal considering it is over 2,100 pieces. Roughly 8 cents a piece. Not bad.

Yeah, I saw the Voltron news the other day, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to get that one. Heck of a deal on the cost.

My wife got me the UCS Snowspeeder for Fathers Day last month, and then got me the UCS Y-Wing for my birthday yesterday. The snowespeeder was a fun build and looks fantastic, as it's not minifig scale. I'm almost halfway through the Y-Wing and the detail they put in to create the exposed engine look is great.

My wife now has to build her Saturn V rocket and the Creator VW Beetle hopefully before school starts back up for both of us in the fall. Legos have definitely turned in our model-kit building experience for us as we've gotten older.

Finished my second ultimate collector series build..Luke's Red Five X-Wing. I went ahead and ordered the Luke minifigure separately as the set didn't have him.

I love that x-wing. One of my top 5 sets. I replaced the tile for the seat with a 2x2 plate so that Luke stays in place better.

I found the plans for this custom Stay Puft Man online and built it this weekend. Goes great with my Ghostbusters HQ. IMG_3520.jpg

Thank you for the kind words fellas. Love the X-Wing. It is my second build to date (the Snowspeeder being the first). I will probably start on the Y-Wing next. I need to re-organize my loft as I am being pushed for space though. Can't wait to be looking at houses here within the year.

Love the Ghostbusters setup you put together there. The StayPuft man came together great!

Also loving your collection there dbeth. Given any thought to your next project?

I either want to find some clear cylinder pieces to build a "tower" to place under the Imperial Shuttle so I can get it off the ground and get the wings extended into 'flying mode'. Or, I need to find some technic pieces to build a scissor lift so I can switch between landed and flying modes.

Oh, and the next project will definitely be adding Voltron to that shelf. No matter it's not Star Wars; he will guard them all!!

I had my Imperial Shuttle suspended in flight mode with fishing line but after a couple years the command strip hook holding it came off the ceiling! Came crashing down! So I just have mine sitting in landing mode on top of the Endor bunker. I need to suspend it again, just haven't done it yet. Need to find a more secure way.

Thanks man! This was part of the Ultimate Collector Series released in 2013 I think. The set is now retired but I found a brand new unopened set on eBay that wasn't too bad.

Not sure if any of you are Harry Potter fans but I am so I'm super happy about the new line of HP sets. I got the new Quidditch Match set and added to it to make this.

Awesome bro. I love Harry Potter and was stoked they came out with new sets because the old ones are crazy expensive.

Did it really come with all those mini figuers?

No it just came with six which is good, and one set of goals. It did come with the four towers though. I had lots of old Harry Potter figures from before and I added the walls between the towers, the stands, and the green base plates and white chalk markings of the field.3621E287-5E1A-4E31-8CDC-B4B94EA38788-9268-0000088C2B102396.jpeg

Love what you have done with the Quidditch set. I was just over in London and got to visit the largest LEGO store in the world. Very cool stuff.

I picked up the Voltron set Tuesday and my wife grabbed the Aston Martin 007 car as well. We can't wait to get these put together!
