That's a great set! You'll need to add more space to your village now
One of the first things I did this year when putting my village back up was add power functions to that carousel. Now I just need carousel music! You should give it a try!

Yeah, I will have the Toy Shop, Santa's Workshop, Winter Village Market and the new Winter Train Station set up this year along with some other small holiday sets.

That’s still the winter village. I just expanded it this year and that is the new part of town behind the carousel with modern buildings. I haven’t gotten to winterizing those buildings yet.

Just started a Lego Robotics Club for grades 3-5 at the school I teach at. Had 2 loaner WeDo 2.0 kits from a company and a bucket of Legos from the kindergarten teacher.
Long story short, I had over 100 kids on Friday. Meeting tomorrow with administration and ordering $3000 worth of Lego WeDo 2.0 kits. Looks like this will kick off nicely. Looking to send a letter to parents asking if they'd donate a ziplock bag of legos to add to our collection as we start this journey.
Truth be told, I made a beer tote'n lego robot this weekend! He sits next to my Raspberry Pi robot. Jeez, I'm a head high school baseball coach by day and a creepo robot builder by night. I used to be cool, I promise!Comment

Little early but I was in the mood to build a small set. Got this off ebay last week and just put this limited edition snowglobe from last year together. I love it. Really nice. Will look good on display this Christmas.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see them do something like this going forward. Those classic castle sets are my favorite because that’s what I grew up with. I actually like LEGO’s themes better then their licensed stuff.
