IF(not saying OS should or has any plans to) OS rebrands, would be nice if there was at least a contest where the site can vote among the top entries. I'm sure there's more than enough capable designers out there who could come up with something nice. Especially on a sports forum where everyone always has their various opinions on logo changes we see in every league all the time.

Though like I said, current logo is good enough anyways.

                Truth.
During this past weeks snow we knew pretty much 3 people were calling off.

Even before the first flake was seen the first one called and left this message"
"Hey it's *****, I wont be in because it's supposed to snow tonight"

Within 2 more hours the other 2 also called off... again before the first flake dropped.
2 of the 3 also called off the next day even though all roads were pretty much cleared of snow.

ESPN has just messed up SportsCenter, it's pitiful.

I think they missed the boat on SVP too; I like the guy and think he's genuine and insightful. They should've set it up to where it's a talk show format similar to what they used to do on Comedy Central with Jon Stewart and Colbert....give him 10-15 minutes for a monologue to talk about issues (and make fun) of things in sports, and do interviews and such. I would definitely have tuned into watch it. Instead, ESPN chooses to go with Michael Smith (who I do like) and Jamele Hill (who I don't) in the primetime 6pm slot. Bad choices.

I'm being serious when I ask: SportsCenter does not show a slew of game highlights anymore, correct? Last time I popped it on it kind of has many longer segments, perhaps around a showcased game or so, but more talking, analysis, press conferences, live look-ins with dispatched personnel, etc.

From what I saw the last time I popped it on, it is far removed from the highlight show we used to know and love.

I feel like they are going for a more younger, hip crowd and combine sports, movies, music, etc versus what they have done in the past. Maybe millennials and whatever the next youngest generation is called like that type of stuff?

I read that apparently Instagram is the new Facebook with the younger generation. As they say only "old" people use Facebook. So I guess ESPN is trying to cater to them.

Wouldn't be surprised if something like this already exists in USA. Some new thing a chain in Canada has recently come out with. Basically it's a bowl where you can choose what you want in it from 3 categories. 1st category is salad, rice or fries. 2nd category is chicken, buffalo wings or burger. 3rd category is then various toppings(basically all burger toppings as well as a few burrito like toppings).

In the end, it comes up like this:

I wanna try that, but just has that feeling like I'll regret having it afterwards. But since it's new, it's only like $4 after taxes for one bowl(for first 2 weeks at least, after that it's double that price) so might as well try it for a meal.

I think some of it is just a function of being able to find any highlights you want online these days, but I do miss the highlights in any case. I hardly ever watch Sportscenter anymore.

Man, I'm so burnt out from work this week and I have to work tomorrow and maybe Sunday. This last month has been very busy.
