It just stretched with the skin, still looks fine. Obviously I wish I never had it in the first place (thanks 18 year old me). Funny story though, I remember asking the tattoo artist what would happen if my arms got bigger and he dismissively laughed saying I didn't need to worry about it.

Genetics determine the rest. If you're naturally skinny, then unfortunately you're just going to have a tougher time gaining size. Getting older helps with that too, especially once you're into your 30s. I have a friend who's 6'0" and struggled to get above 190 lbs for the longest time in his mid-late 20s. Then late 20s-early 30s (he's 33 or 34 now, can't remember) he was able to get over 200 and eventually as high as 220 naturally.

I was pretty similar. I had the hardest time getting to 200 lbs when I was 20-21 years old, was stuck in the 190s. I took some pro-hormones (which are now illegal) and it got me over the 200 hump. Then eventually every 10 lbs became a hump. I got over all of them eventually all the way to 260 lbs but it just took me getting older. Now I'm 30 and gaining both fat/muscle is easier than before and losing the fat is much harder; the unfortunate downfall of not having the 20s metabolism anymore.
Thanks. The thing is I'm not trying to gain weight, just trying to be stronger. I'm not really ever looking to get over 170 lbs. I'm not hoping to wow everybody given that small of a stature, but I'm just making sure that my workouts don't "go to waste" while being as light as I am.

If you're looking for more strength gains, the high protein is still important but your workouts need to be in the near-max range; in the 2-6 rep range and occasionally doing the 1RM.

Got it. I take a protein powder thingy at night and add some to my juice, plus eating meat. I do 1RM as well for my push-ups.

Obviously I'm not trying to get super massive in any form, considering I'm pretty much limiting myself to push-ups and sit-ups. I just want to make sure that what I'm doing is considered "healthy" in any vein.

In about six weeks, I'll be doing another full blood panel, and see how I compare to last year with cholesterol, glucose, etc.

So what I've been doing during the times/days I'm not at the gym(or if I'm at work)is 25/10.

Pretty much doing 25 Push Ups every hour(I get off at 6pm so I'll usually start around noon-1pm)and then 10 situps right after. So by the time I get off, I've done at 125 P/Us and 50 Situps.

Nice, little "workout" to do during any free time/breaks you have during the day.

Not so much bulk and cut for me; more like I liked pizza and beer too much over the holidays.

No worries there, I've still got the holiday weight going.

Thankfully I can lose it just as fast as I've gained it. Last September, I lost 30lbs in just over a month. Now, it's just about regaining that discipline and getting in the groove.

On day 4 going low carb and making sure to get all the vitamins in and...

they freaking bring us gourmet cupcakes to the office. Brb driving 100 out of the office parking lot to get away.

I've had them before and they're among the best cupcakes I've ever had.

Office food is always a struggle. I work for a Tech/Marketing company so we are always treated to food on a regular basis plus have a snack/soda bin. Luckily I've been work from home for a year now so I avoid that but I still get the emails from the main office when the good food arrives that I'm missing out on enjoying.

Hit a wall again. I finally got under 200, at 198 last week. Back to about 203, but feel good etc. Just cant shake the last 10 pounds in my mid section. I have been on point with my macros, but I'm not sure what else to do here.

Just want to tighten up the mid section, not looking to be ripped LOL, but man I'm getting frustrated.

Obviously miles-may-vary, but as you get older you'll notice it'll gradually take longer and longer to burn that excess weight off.

Filming **** will never be a career of mine. Hit 405 on deadlift "easily" for the first time. I've done it before but pretty sure I had the worst form ever and it wasn't easy.

Nice work, you made that look easy AF! I'm stuck trying to get a 5 set at 370 before I move to 380. Stuck at like 2 or 3 reps but I think I just mentally whimp out. Pretty sure I could pull 400 right now on a good day. Plus I deadlift after my volume squat workout so I'm already wrecked. Deadlift sucks after a 5x5 at 300 plus pounds for me.
