Great news for my family! At 9 AM St. Mikes Hospital called and informed my father they found a kidney. After 4 1/2 years of waiting this is the thing we've been most waiting for. He's just left with my mother and sister to do tests to see if it will completely match without rejection and have his transplant today. I'll be going over later on if that's the case.

Awesome news, man...I'm praying it goes well. [emoji4]

unfortunately only 1 crackhead got taken away, and he doesn't even live here, I thought the whole crew was going down

after the main troopers, unmarked units, and k9 squad left, business continued as usual

I missed the boat on the Waffle House conversation, but my wife and I go on Sundays and sober sometimes. They built a new one out near the interstate so we drive a little further out of town to avoid the run down one in town. They actually post up a city police officer at the one we avoid late at night. They used to have a lot of fights and brawls in that thing.

They have bigger booths, it's never packed, service is fast and it tastes delicious. Their customer service is pretty good too. My wife mistakenly ordered onions on something so we tried to pay for a second sandwich since it was our fault and they wouldn't take our money and told us to keep the sandwich...

I don't know why she doesn't order the All Star Special like normal people.

It went very well. The specialist said that this kidney was definitely meant for my father as it's a perfect match. Usually patients have to continue undergoing dialysis for a couple or so weeks after the transplant whereas in my father's case he doesn't need to. He's pretty much out of it and in some considerable pain. He's definitely doing well though as he was making a lot of jokes.

He'll be due to leave hospital by next Friday.

I eat at different WH's quite often: Pelham, Calera, Leeds/Moody, Pell City among 1 or 2 more. What part of the state are you in?
