Re: Christmas 2018
My lady and I traveled 399 miles over 4 days to spend time with both families. On the last car ride home we looked at each other and said "last time we do this"
Going to the every other year with both families. It's too much travel time and anxiety of keeping both families happy for the holiday we don't really get to enjoy ourselves.
We got home on Christmas day around 5 PM and did our own thing. We both took off the entire week. So spending time just us and the dog. Watching TV and playing games. Very relaxing after the last week.
This year it was just my wife and I and we didn't travel anywhere, it was great.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Christmas 2018
I know that the season has past us by, even Orthodox "Little" Christmas is gone for another year, however I find myself still in the Christmas Spirit. I have not had a case of the Post Christmas Blues (PCB's) this year. All the Christmas decorations are packed away, but my daughter and I are still quite happy listening to Christmas music. She will ask Alexa to play Christmas music and dance away to her hearts content.
I've definitely reached the point where I'm more interested in sharing Christmas with my daughter and the baby to come. I love sharing the family traditions and building our own. I love that Christmas is magical for her.Last edited by mike24forever; 01-14-2019, 09:33 PM.I am the lesson after the fall.Comment
