Just so we are clear I am by no means a stock expert I just dabble a bit in it. I know a ton about the cruise industry though.

I did spend a lot of time talking about it here so I would say do either 2 things.

        1. Cash out now taking your profits. Its bound to go down a little with the rapid pace the last few weeks.

        2. Play the long game which means holding on to it for 9-12 months.

A few select ships will start back sailing around August 1st and that will be good for getting $ coming in. If a case pops up the media could freak out again. I think long-term it will without a doubt go higher then it is now.

not a pro either just looking at current trends of what sectors are likely to recover next looks like oil stocks are on tap next as opec agree to more cuts, feels weird rooting for gas prices to go up

That Makes sense with them cutting production and people back to driving more.

MRO is a cheap gas stock that has a lot of volume so it’s easy to day trade it. I’ve done that a few times for a quick flip.

Sold 50% of my DKNG shares at around $39. My average was $17 with a combo of what was DEAC and newer DKNG shares.

Also sold 100% of SQ which I'd had since 2017 at around $45 and had seen it go all the way to $99 and then allll the way back down. Up down up down. Finally said screw it and didn't get greedy the second time around.

LOL....can't live and die with day-to-day swings. The price only matters on 2 days: the day you bought it and the day you sell it. Whatever happens in between is irrelevant.

100% gambled on TVIX last week. It was a crazy 36 hours, but bought at $190 and sold at $230. Originally had an order earlier on the buying day at $157 and cancelled it.

I forgot we had this thread.

Really thinking of investing in AMC stock. It's at $4.15 right now, and has the potential of climbing quite a bit when/if theaters bounce back any time soon.

I would not touch AMC right now. The return is probably more than 6 months out and the risk is total bankruptcy.

                          There are better options.

Yea AMC does seem risky since your a few months out. I'm not sure what the latest is on the direct to home movie controversy from a few months back so I would read up on that. I would think they would be chances to get along the way if things clear up.

I'd still try to jump on Apple if you haven't already. Their cap is about to hit 2 trillion and I've seen tons of reports of a 4-1 split coming. Many think it will hit $500/share before the split.

I bought 71 shares the day after the earning calls. I paid $406 for it and now its $455 I'm going to try and hang on till the split however I'm tempted to take my %12 gain.
