I think I could only put up with analysis/commentary if there weren't 24/7 channels. As it is, it's a never-ending cycle of the same hosts bringing on the same guests to say the same things to the same viewing audience day after day after day after day. Add in to the one token (other side) guest who's only there for the split-screen shouting match and if this is what people are watching we wonder why everything's an argument.

Not that I'm immune to or above it - they wouldn't format their shows like this if it didn't trigger the emotion they want and I'm human like anyone else but I've cut as much of it out as I can. If anything now I'll see a chyron and then look up the actual stories myself.

I'd like to think I've developed a very low tolerance for stupid. Unfortunately there's a pretty big supply of it.

Well, I don't listen to everyone, gotta know your people. David Axelrod is a sharp one, Nate Silver, Jamelle Bouie, in his time Charles Krauthammer, etc. Plus it helps if you don't indulge in this all the time (going all out) and limit it to big events like last night, the convention, Election Night (of course). Gotta pick your spots or it will depress you (at least it does to me).

Sorry, I have family that watches it all day so I'm just over it in general because I have to hear about it all the time. I don't care what Joy Reid said. Or what Gutfeld's whining about from his booster seat. Everyone just shut the **** up.

I stream my cable, and the app has been down for a week, so I've been doing the antenna thing until it works. Weird thing during the debate, I found an SD channel 5.4 that was replaying an old ION broadcast of a WNBA game and I was like "there we go"

I wonder whyI cant find that orange-like cheese popcorn around at convenience stores anymore. All I ever see now are the bags of white cheddar smartfood popcorn.

That's one of the things I like about tv/cable. Sometimes I don't have a specific thing I care to watch (mainly during a commercial break of another show) so I'll just flip to something random to watch for a few minutes.

Caramel popcorn is the best kind of not regular popcorn.

But I wonder if it's one of those "healthier alternatives" to snacks that aren't even healthy to begin with so what's the point of a healthier alternative?

microwave popcorn specifically makes it hard to figure out, it's like 2.5 servings per bag unpopped, they know you're eating this at night and don't want to crunch the numbers. Nobody can figure this out, I've got "only salted", I've got "94% fat free", and I have to get a calculator to figure this **** out. Is it better to buy bland popcorn and add seasoning, or just the regular stuff? Big popcorn doesn't want you to know!

bagged popcorn is a little different, like smartfood popcorn is legit slightly less unhealthy, that's not saying much lol

Ever have a bag of caramel and cheese mix? It's a good balance.

Those things were the best. Giant tin containers big enough to hide the remains of your enemy.

Happy 248th birthday United States. Realizing this is the 248th has me excited for July 4 2026 and the 250th birthday. Also, gonna be weird no Joey Chestnut in the Nathan's hotdog contest today. He had won every contest but one since 2007.

Sat there for literally 5 minutes watching a SpaceX launch stream on YouTube before realizing it was actually a channel that I subscribe to that had been hacked [emoji2357]. Crazy that people still allow people access to their account, or download and run a sketchy app on their computer because an email convinces them to.
