Which is basically the definition of accident (without deliberate cause). I understand there is usually negligence involved, I was just countering the hyperbole. [emoji6]

But if you are stressed and worried, it increases the chance of an accident. And if that accident is in a hot spot, you might not get an ambulance.

A couple of Denver nurses stood in the middle of the road to block protesters riding in their cars.

As a result, thousands if not millions of businesses didn't secure any funding and aren't going to survive. And it ran out quickly because there were loopholes in the CARES Act that allowed businesses like Ritz-Carlton, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and other large public companies to secure millions from the funding because a small business is defined as 500 employees or less but through this loophole, if they didn't have more than 500 employees in a "single location/store/hotel" then they qualified as a "small business". It's a ****ing joke and shows as usual that the government really doesn't care about the little guys like they pretended to when this whole thing was created.
I'm too cynical to believe this wasn't an intentional act. Another reason I dislike politics and politicians.

I know you're joking but I could argue that to an extent, yes, they are intentional. People intentionally make decision which cause crashes!

Rather may be right in this particular instance but he talking about "affront to truth" is rich.

                    Yes, his integrity is unimpeachable.

CBS ousted four executives Monday for their roles in a 60 Minutes report about President Bush's National Guard service that relied in part on apparently forged documents.

Re: CDC Officials Warn of Coronavirus Outbreaks in the United States.

Decided to just drive around today without any purpose. No shopping or anything.

Seeing amount of cars and people around is making me wonder how many are even following any rules.

Yes the parks and malls are closed, but seems like the people who would've been there are simply just on the streets/sidewalks.

Felt like typical weekday afternoon traffic on the roads and more than usual amount of people on sidewalks. If anything, there's more people just walking on the roads(in residential areas) because they dont expect cars to be driving around.

I'm sitting at home keeping my distance from others, and I'm one of the healthier people, but at times like this it feels like people just dont care. The ones who actually follow rules seem to be the ones who are having their life more impacted than ones who dont follow it.

People are allowed to go out and walk around...

Vegas after 9pm when most of the grocery stores close feels like a small town, with almost everything closed (most 7-11s are closing around 1am).

                          News today is pretty wild.

                          - Oil cratered, May futures as low as -$40/barrel
                          - US still only doing 150k tests/day, still no national strategy for testing
                          - Lab workers have appealed to all involved to please improve the testing supplies situation
                          - tone deaf rallies continue and are getting larger - really just look like a campaign rally and/or people who want to get on TV.

They are probably doing exactly what you were doing and are just trying to get some fresh air/sunlight. It has to be tougher on people who live in apartments or don't have much yard space.

Isn't he the Godfather of fake news?

In my state, we are not allowed to drive unless we are going for food or medical care essentially. I do it anyway, because that is the only way I can get out of my house. I am observing more and more cars on the road every week. I think people in my state are getting tired of this.
