Re: CDC Officials Warn of Coronavirus Outbreaks in the United States.

Presently, the death rate % is higher than the recovery rate %. That could all change in the next week or so, something to keep an eye on.

Mark Cuban referenced this site which keeps information up to speed every hour. I don't click on it hourly, but once in the morning is all I need.

United States Coronavirus update with statistics and graphs: total and new cases, deaths per day, mortality and recovery rates, current active cases, recoveries, trends and timeline.

To this date, there has only been 1 person that has been recorded as recovered in Wisconsin and that was the first person recorded as having CV in late Feb., I believe. A person in their 90's passed away a few days ago here and they were from a nursing home from a northern suburb in Milwaukee. 3 workers have tested positive and 1 caregiver has tested positive.

Wisconsin now has 4 deaths recorded from CV.

Just got back from the church service for my dad. This service is the last service for the church as they have been told to close it's door. No Mass, or Prayer service after 8pm tonight.

Woke up feeling the same as yesterday. I do have a little tightness in my chest, but no fever or cough.

I am home and will be home for at least the next 10 days. Only going outside to walk the dog.

I'll update everyone daily. Again thanks for all your kind words during this difficult time.

My condolences to you and your family

I'd been thinking how they say some people will only have very mild to no symptoms and how this will make it even harder to contain as people may get it and recover and never really realize it. Symptoms could be so mild they might just chalk them up to seasonal allergies. You said you had some chest tightness this morning. Well I had some chest tightness a few days last week which I'd just attributed stress but also had a single brief episode of light dry coughing 2 mornings (lasted like 5 secons and was only 2 or 3 coughs) that I just attributed to upper airway congestion/post nasal drip and my apartmetn being a bit overdue for a dusting (Just finished cleaning a little bit ago). But in the back of my mind, I almost wonder if I had one of the very mild casess. Don't know where I could have gotten it as I've basically been practicing social distancing most of my life, but there are a growing number of cases in my county including within the city where I am.

NYC is a mess. And the panic will make it worse because people will be scared they have it and they'll start showing up at hospitals in mass. People under 50 should just stay home unless they have severe symptoms.

Something I think we all need to take into consideration is could our mild symptoms be psychosomatic. This whole thing a really hard to process because we have never been through anything like this. It's scary. We get inside our brains and get scared.

At least I know that's how I am. This is especially true for people who already suffer with depression and anxiety.

I'm not saying anyone is making anything up. That's not what I mean.

Sometimes we just can't get our of our own minds.

You can't go by recovery rate. They have no literal way to test recovery. They are calling recovered when you stop testing positive for 2 tests in a row more than 24 hours apart. Someone in Asia I think tested positive again 2 weeks later.

So who is being tested every day? Only people bad enough to be in the hospital and have recovered enough to be sent home. Everyone else who has been tested and told to isolate at home isn't being tested again to see if they have recovered.

You also can't gain anything from the numbers of positive tests because until the last few days you could really only be tested if you were in bad enough condition to be admitted to the hospital. You still can't go and get tested without seeing a virtual doctor and meeting criteria.

The only thing you can track are the number of people admitted to the hospital and the number that die.

It is allergy and flu season, so some people could have that. I know I've got allergies and all the pollen in Florida is not helping. It's normal for me and I only have sinus issues.

Basically unless you need to go to the hospital, there is nothing to worry about. Try to isolate as much as possible. If you get it, there isn't a cure, so they are just going to send you home.

Started feeling body aches and overall like **** after work yesterday.

My job put me on the 7 day DL and I said I can return to work if I don’t show any symptoms.

All recovery numbers could be skewed or inaccurate because you could be walking around with it and could be asymptomatic and recover.

I agree, the link I provided is for all of those that tested positive initially and either isolated and recovered or tested positive, hospitalized and recovered.

I provided the link to go by what is being recorded, I don't think anyone has any idea of what is unreported or not recorded.

this upcoming week is going to be rough. I expect the death toll will hit 1000 in the US by Friday. we're sitting at almost 300 deaths right now. the 1000 mark will have a huge psychological affect greater than we have already seen in terms of the younger generation that have ignored this (as much as possible). I'm having big problems food wise because I'm a notorious picky eater but nowadays I'll eat anything I can get my hands on.

For real. I don't think I really suffer from either of those and I've also never been even remotely a hypochondriac. However anytime I feel even slightly off since this whole thing started it's at the back of my mind. Headache? Keep an eye on it. Feeling flushed? Make sure not running a fever and keep an eye on it. Sore muscles? Keep an eye on it (even though I just worked out lol). I feel like my issue is more not for myself but if for some reason I do get it the last thing I want to do is spread it to anyone. I'd feel like **** if that happened.

Someone at the nursing home my wife works at tested positive today. She was his nurse all night last night.

So now she's been exposed, and my daughter and I have been exposed. We are trying to figure out the next step.

I'm pretty upset and angry right now.
