Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
    Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....

Nothing in comparison to the actual event that's playing out, but it bugs me that people are already using "corona" as slang. Makes it sound too friendly if you ask me.

Just quarantine Florida. Bunch of freakin idiots.

If you aren't taking this seriously and not practicing social distancing at this point, you need to just stay in one place and party till you all get the virus then be quarantined.

Sorry to be harsh, but if you're not gonna follow the recommendations then you deserve what you get.

We need to lower the curve, and moronic kids are gonna make it harder.

I *half* jokingly told a friend today that we should just let anyone who wants to go to a bar beach go, then barricade them in lol

I guess it's kind of the Shaun of the Dead mentality. Go to the pub and wait it out.

It's because it starts from the top and the the Florida Governor has been behind the 8 ball compared to other states Governor's when it comes to shutting things down.

Oak Park, IL a suburb of Chicago is on lockdown. They were told to shelter in place until April 3rd. That is crazy to me since I grew up near Oak Park. That borderline was only 4 or 5 blocks away from the apartment complex I grew up in.

Mayor Anan Abu-Taleb issued the emergency declaration, and Public Health Director Michael Charley issued a public order requiring residents to stay in their homes from March 20 to April 3.

I have family that lives in Elgin. I love that area. Schaumburg is really nice too. Little towns with tons of stuff and beautiful main streets. I would love to live there.

I was fortunate enough to get our needs quickly and get out. The lady that was behind me in line at the self registers started coming closer to me. I gave her a look and she started backing up a bit.
I work in grocery and i have never seen the shelf's so low. I was joking saying like ever one is going to have to go vegetarian with how little of meat is left lol.

Yep it's crazy. I've been doing this for 20 years and have never seen anything like it. I thought the California wildfires and the blackout was crazy back in the day but that is nothing to what is happening now. We've done so much business it's crazy. On average in my produce dept we do around $90,000 a week (Sunday-Saturday). Last week we did $117,000 and that was with things only really getting busy on Thursday night. So far this week after 3 days we are already at $62,000. This is only the produce dept. The store did over a million last week. It's freaking hard to comprehend.

I got lucky. I kept trying to do a pickup or delivery order from Walmart and nothing available for the last few days. Then I though oh crap, Giant Eagle delivers. Went on their site and made over a $200 grocery order that will be delivered to us tomorrow. I got all we needed. Nothing I wanted was out of stock.

Times like this you really start to see peoples true colours.

The people hoarding and trying to profit out of this. The business owners who should be closed but end up being sneaky about staying open to try making more money and taking advantage of employees (luckily lots have been threatened with fines if they disobey laws, especially after government has said they will be compensated for closures).

But then also the ones buying things for neighbours who cant or dont want to go out and get essentials, businesses who are putting employees over profit, and all the others.

People can talk all they want about "what if" scenarios, but we're living in a time where it's time to put your money where your mouth is.
