It's a tool for mitigation and control, for a disease that's killing a small % people who are infected.
Our capabilities for fighting this are naturally going to increase over time, to the point where we can start lifting these shelter-in-place orders and other lockdowns, but soon enough to resume the NBA and NHL seasons and start the MLB and NFL seasons? That's what I'm skeptical of.

Bottom line is that mass gatherings of any sort are going to be a bad idea until a vaccine is available.

I really hope sports are able to start up again sports are the one thing that like helps with my stress and depression but i am not sure if its going to happen or not. I think its still to soon to say has we don't known how things will be the rest of this month and also May. At the same time Olympics already got pushed to summer 2021. So Olympics already got pushed back even though its still like almost 4 months before they where supposed to start.

I know they’re trying but damn watching a crowd less event like Wrestlemania is so awkward.

Been up since 3 am. Woke up feeling like I couldn’t breathe. Set on edge of bed, checked my oxygen and everything within range.

Feel better now but that scared the **** out of me.

My wife, who is a dialysis nurse of 17 years, says if that happens again, you should go to the hospital. She said don't let it go too long before you get help.

Something they're doing for unemployment benefits here that I can see eventually moving over to other things if it gets worse. Having things determined by birth month.

Shopping for example, Mondays are for people born January-March, Tuesday for April-June, Wednesday July-September, Thursday October-December, and Friday-Sunday is everyone.

Easier to enforce when it comes to online services, especially official government things since you have your birth month on file, but it could eventually move over to things like groceries.

At very least, maybe have hours specific to people born in certain months. Like mornings are for the months I mentioned, but afternoons are fair game for everyone. Something eventually should happen to prevent these lineups to get in(which cause a bigger issue since you're still lined up in close proximity to people)

                        Ok.

I would check your O2 sat and pulse every hour, and keep a log. I would also recommend doing something to put your mind at ease. I know your a Show guy, that would be my recommendation.

The last thing you want is work yourself into an anxiety or panic attack and trigger an acute episode of dyspnea (shortness of breath).

My ex-wife was released from the hospital the other day. She will be on oxygen for 2 more weeks and in self isolation while she recovers.

Malayan tiger at Bronx Zoo tests positive for COVID19

Several other tigers are also exhibiting symptoms. They are thought to have caught the virus from an asymptomatic or presymptomatic caretaker.

Re: CDC Officials Warn of Coronavirus Outbreaks in the United States.

My observations from the store I work at (Vons in San Diego) the last week:

-People don't understand what essential shopping means. Many are just random shopping. It seems since we are one of the only things to do people are just doing it. If it was just for essentials we wouldn't be busier then normal by a huge margin. The panic stuff is over. Now it's just shopping out of boredom. I'm seeing the same people come in multiple times per week. It's crazy.

-Essential shopping doesn't mean let's go shopping as a couple. Honestly why do two people need to go shopping. We are in a stay at home order and to only leave for necessary essentials. Yet couples are just hanging out in the store together. You are literally doubling your chances of getting this thing you idiots. Unless you need the help because of a specific reason shop alone.

It's my firm belief that because people are just too stupid to ****ing follow basic guidelines this thing is going to get prolonged and we will lose more and more freedoms. Currently in SD we are in stay at home, no schools, only essential businesses open, all parks/beaches/trails/mountains closed, all essentials business employees which are around the public must wear some sort of face covering (mask/bandana/etc), and you should only leave your house for exercise around your neighbor hood (IE very close to your house). Next step I can guarantee will be all people who leave there house must wear some sort of mask. From there it will be curfews, checkpoints, only certain people can shop on certain days, and mass ticketing. They have tried to let people police their-selves but again people are just too stupid to follow rules. It is really infuriating.

Last little tidbit. My wife works for the VA here in San Diego as a hospice nurse. They are making plans for what to do if/when **** starts to hit the fan. Their current idea for my wife's floor is to use the unoccupied beds for positive Covid 19 symptomatic patients who aren't bad enough for ventilators but still need to be in the hospital. But the nurses will not be provided N95 masks. Those will only be used for nurses working with incubated patients. Are you ****ing kidding me!?!?!? What in the hell is the difference? Does incubation make you more contagious? That's a rhetorical question because no it doesn't make you more contagious. This whole thing is so ****ing dumb.

Now my wife may have to deal with this ****, not have the proper equipment to protect herself, then chance on bringing it home to me and our 4 kids. It was bad enough with me being in the grocery store 40+ hours a week. I'm just super irritated with people who are just so selfish.

Sorry about the mile long venting session but I just had to get this off my chest.

On a last note CB stay strong brother. Get that rest and get better my man. Praying for you man.
