Still can't easily tell which of my subscribed threads I haven't read.... The old OS CP, was super easy to know which ones I didn't read yet.

I still have an old tab up that shows the old subscription view. Pasting here in case anyone wants to compare.

Something a little strange, basically when I click on the >> for the last post, it's one not by TripleCrown9, same thing for CFB 26 news, when I click on that and go to page 2, the last post isn't by TripleCrown9.

Ok, so umm, we may have a problem. There is a thread by a new member asking about his account priveledges and saying he wanted to become a supporter. I'd noticed some of the stickied threads in Steve's for had disappeared, but assumed maybe they just got unstickied for some reason so I went to search for it in Advanced Search using 'supporter' and 'support' as keywords and was unable to find it. I only found 1 thread from 2002 that had 4 posts in it. Geez, I hope it didn't actually get deleted (maybe that's how Steve accidentally got banned yesterday.

Also, when searching, I noticed that in the advanced search menu, the 'sources' lists all subforums then also has a section for articles and blogs, but after blogs it appears to list every tsingle individual blog present on OS

I like the new forum. Still getting the hang of things. Nice work to all involved. I will say, I thought the dark format was a little hard to read (strange for me cause I usually use dark mode on social media and on my iphone) but switching the style to the default makes things much easier for me to read. Glad that's an option. Thanks!

Oomph, wonder if it can be restored from a backup or something. Going to the internet archive site, I found a snapshot from May 6 and that was the only one affected. I had unstuck the 'search has been disable thread' and the 'why can't I post thread' had also been unstuck.

I just wanted to confirm. Are all the old topics coming back eventually, or are we just starting with what we have? I have a topic in the WWE 2k25 forums that I was waiting on that had my sliders in them.

The forums not looking like OS is really killing it for me, is that "look" coming back or has that shipped sailed? It doesn't "feel" like Operation Sports on these new forums. I understand it's just a look and a skin, but I'd figure that would be one of the things that would have got implemented right away.

Yeah its 3 weeks now. I am losing hope at this stage. Had a good dynasty going and had pre written lots of other new posts in old dyasties of mine. all are lost for now. At least the site is running faster now. Whether I'll stay here or not is to be seen. Would love the Old OS Forums skin back.

Just some feedback

The original (after the upgrade) default theme was very displeasing to the eyes imo. I tried and all of the different options available and settled on the dark theme, like I typically would with any page that offers the option. The dark theme does look slick, but something about about it does seem to make it harder to read/follow the action in a thread though. Especially with user names. Some of the colored names don't seem to play nice with the background. Quoted text also does not seem to pop quite as much as it used to either. The old forums certainly had a look that could be seen as dated, but I also think that the style was more functional.

Really hoping that we can get posts beyond April 8th back. There were a few conversations going on that it does kind of suck to have lost the activity for. I also tend to roll forward my posts in the 2025 Gaming Plans so that I can keep track of my progress over the year, and I know that one of those posts is currently lost among others.

I think what would help the dark mode be easier to read is if the typed text was actually white instead of this offshade tan type color.

EDIT: I also think another reason it's harder to read this version of the forum is the font size seems smaller than the old place. I don't know if it is or not but the size is very small. If it was even just 1 point higher it would do wonders, personally I'd vote for 2 points higher. But that's just because I don't have the best eye sight to begin with. I really don't want to have to zoom in on this website like I do some of the others I use. LOL! Yes, I'm getting old. Haha.
