If you get a chance to kick the ball at the other teams goal you get 2 points I think for kicking it into your own player man who ran in front of you to block it

I thought the aim was to kick the ball and hit the post. I do it at least 6 times per match so assumed that meant I was winning.

I finally lost my patience with this game, Patch 1.05 killed it.

I took it out of the PS4 and put it back in its box, then into my bag. I went out to Lambeth Bridge in London, I threw Fifa 16 into the River Thames. Now it's with the fishes.

Listen up people, This is 2016 the age of PS4 and when previous versions from previous generations of Playstations are way better than Fifa 16 then it deserves to be with the fishes. I am done with Fifa forever period.

Well if you statement is true then it's too late, but if you give the latest community sliders a shot, with pass speed at 60, it has changed the game for me. The game is far from perfect and I still believe that the latest patch is crap and tailored to the arcade crowd but it has helped a bit.

While players run far away from ball and behind a defender, I think I see more of my genius cpu teammates make a v line and Sprint directly towards the path I'm dribbling in. Their "runs" are straight towards the ball and not to the wide open areas of the field where they can actually be somewhat effective

I retract my suggestion from my previous post, there is just no fixing this patch. I swear my teammates are complete morons compared to how perfect the CPU plays. I just had a player run pass a perfect cross to a wide open net! Also, ever notice how just about every shoot near the box is blocked by a defender due to their flawless positioning? I'm also seeing so much more tricky tacky passing where there is just no possible way to defend. Well the wait is on for The Show, see ya FIFA.

As annoying as these issues are I've just found a way to enjoy the game without fretting any longer. I just take it that the game is flawed and live with it. The other alternative would be to throw it away which won't happen in my case since this is the only game I play.
So far I'll give the game play + all the numerous issues mentioned here a 7 rating. The game is all enjoyable. Let's just try to enjoy the game I don't see EA changing anything else thru update.

The CPU blocking is brutal at times but I just had my 1st game where I had all shots on target. I wouldn't have noticed but it unlocked an achievement.


Played a game last night in my AC Milan CM where Carpi got 2 guys sent off in the first 20 minutes. I was very surprised to see them alter their formation and only play one up top, an attempt at damage control.

This is basically what I've done. I consider this more like an arcade game then a sim. With the crazy deflection goals, 90th minute goals, unrealistic long shots, and momentum changes where you can no longer make basic passes I just play the game and whatever happens happens.

If only we'd see those things in random matches, but unfortunately that kind of sh*t happens all too often in the decisive match of the season. You have played through the entire calendar, and... What a letdown.

Just another enjoyable game on World Class difficulty, with GK Ability at 10. Meh, I give up. Most rage I've had with a FIFA since 13.

I finally had to knock cpu acceleration and speed down one/two clicks. Some improvement - doesn't seem like every cpu player can run down my fastest players across the pitch now.

I actually went back to FIFA 14, and having much more fun. It plays better and even looks better. More color, more team banners, the stadiums look great, although no EPL stadia. But much more fun IMO

I'm actually downloading PES my club as I speak. I think I played my last game of Fifa which sucks because I've sunk so much frustrating time in it thinking something would change and just never does. Still scripted, predictable, stupid teammate ai, overpowered cpu teams scaling up total garbage of a game largely thanks to this ****ty patch which seems like Fifa team has stolen money and done improving or fixing anything .


Edit. Well PES isn't going to happen. 2 mins into exhibition and wow is it stiff and just dated deleted instantly

Man ive given up on my career stuff and have o ly been playing pro club drop in matches. Granted, that has its own set of problems (Messi wannabe ballhogs, fullbacks drift waaaaaaaaay to far inside) but its much more fun than dealing with the CPU crap.

I think I'm done with FIFA, too. Played a few games last night and it just wasn't fun, anymore. The controls are horrible. The passing is horrible. Guys are stumbling all over the pitch like drunks. If I get anywhere NEAR a defender, they immediately steal the ball from me before I can even attempt to protect it, not that it works ANYway. It's just a bad game, now. The last patch totally killed it. Definitely will no longer be a day one purchase and it's looking highly doubtful that I'll be buying any further titles at all. So much stuff needs fixed, but I know that it won't be and they will continue to try and stuff Ultimate Team down everyone's throats. Enough is enough.
