Uh, that was an interesting way to find out the Spanish Super Cup is a two-leg thing ...

My calendar shows Barca in league play, Legia Warszawa in CL a couple of days later, Getafe in league play a couple of days later, then Legia again a couple of days later and Barca the following day in the Spanish Super Cup. So imagine my surprise when after the first game against Legia the game is telling me I have to play Barca in the Super Cup, I was like WHAT??? I thought the game had glitched and I was freaking out. Then I figured out it's a two-leg thing and EA decided to schedule the first legs of both the CL qualifying and Super Cup ON THE SAME DATE. THAT is why it the first leg against Barca wasn't showing up on my calendar. Needless to say I had to play my DEEP B team for that one (spoiler: that didnt go well)

To be honest Berardi has been pretty average. Nothing special and I haven't scored once with him, I think. At least he's improving in stats and I could sell him in January. I don't know.

I was able to bring Plymouth Argyle up to League 1 despite a horrible stretch to finish the year. 6 points in the final seven games. Not how a team wants to finish the year. I was not helped in the transfer window when the board only gave me an additional 300,000 pounds for the transfer budget. I wasn't able to land any big signings, only bringing in two players on loan, Chuba Akpom from Arsenal at ST and Aaron Taylor-Sinclair at LB from Wigan. My biggest needs were in midfield where it would have been great to bring in an additional central midfielder and a defensive midfielder or two to shore up that position. We'll see if I can get any more money through a few loan outs, but right now, my team is hurting for depth. Should be an interesting campaign in League 1 where the goal is to gain automatic promotion to the Championship.

I think you just broke the game.

DUDE! I thought the file had been corrupted or something. I go back to the main menu after the first Legia game and in the bottom right corner it's telling me the next game is against Barca in the Super Cup even though I was expecting Getafe in the league. So then I go to advance the days to see if that goes away and I CAN'T. It's telling me I have to play Legia again, which is super weird. So I say ok, let me see what happens if I try to play this again, and when I go to select sides it's giving me Alcorcon-Barca ....

I freak out and get out of the CM without saving then go back in, play Legia again ... and same thing happens. I them sim the Barca game and now it's telling me next game is Getafe, I sim that, sim the next Legia game, then sim the Super Cup game that does show up on my calendar and that's when I realized it was giving me an aggregate score for the Super Cup. That first leg of the Super Cup doesn't show on my calendar and it's because it's scheduled on the same day as the first leg against Legia. SO FREAKING WEIRD. Why in the world would two games IN TWO DIFFERENT COUNTRIES be scheduled on the same day?

Anyways, I had lost the first game against Legia and then beat them the second time I played that game so understanding what was going on I went back to before that game was played and played it again, sort of like a Best out of 3 series. You'll know what happened in the next update, of course

lol, actually I'm glad the calendar showed the Legia game over the Barca game and that the Legia game was played first. Winning the Super Cup would be nice but the priority is definitely qualifying to the group stages of the CL. I would be beyond pissed if I had had to play the Barca game first THEN realize Legia is scheduled on the same day.

Hi guys, I've been lurking for a fe weeks and thought I'd sign up and hopefully participate a bit if that's ok?

I'm well into my third year on my MUFC Career so won't bother posting that, but definitely want to post a CM on here and was looking for some opinions on here to who I should go for?

Little bit about myself to help you choose?

I am an avid MUFC fan, but live about an half hour away form norwich and hold a season ticket for NCFC.

I play all matches on my career and don't sim at all.
I try to make realistic signings for the club I'm managing.
I play on world class.

I think that's it really?

So the question is does anybody have any idea who I should manage, I'm thinking it's between Norwich and Borussia Dortmund? Unless anyone has any objections on either of those?

No problem, I don't really care but I just had to correct you. I wasn't able to resist the temptation.

None of the letters in my username mean anything. 'Simppu' is my nickname which my dad always uses and I decided to use it when I registered to my first site. The '12' at the end is there because 'Simppu' was already taken. I added '1' at the end but it also was taken. Then I added a '2' and it wasn't taken. Since then the name has stuck with me.

Your question made me curious about the usernames and I want to ask all of you how you came up with your name/what is its origin story?

Month of September - Consistancy?

GAMES
West Bromwich Albion 2-3 Everton FC

After a rather boring game at home, Everton went away to take on West Brom. As the Toffees were confident about winning this match, it did not look that easy, as West Brom took the lead with Brown Ideye scoring early.

However, a goal back by McCarthy and a stunning free-kick from Baines gave Everton a smashing lead. The home team still pushed on and with the help of Claudio Yacob, the draw was taken.

But Everton had the final goal, as the new man Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain went on and scored his first goal for Everton, securing with win, and the vital 3 points.

FC Luzern 2-1 Everton

It didn´t seem that Everton could go home anytime soon, as they flew to Switzerland to face FC Luzern in the Europa League group stages. Everton is held as one of the favorites of the group, as the group also has Fiorentina and Lech Poznan.

But it was the home team who scored first, as Thierry Doubai scored the opening goal. The fans went wild, police had a hard time keeping them calm, but it was Steven Naismith who calmed the crowd with a return(might even add a lucky) goal.

Still, Luzern might have been down but not out, as they kept on knocking on the front door, and it finally paid off. A mistake by Everton in their defensive area left Marco Schneuwly through on goal, who scored and made the final score 2-1. Everton looked poor defensively and Howard also had a tough game.

Sunderland 0-3 Everton

After a disappointing performance in the Europa League, Everton flew back to England to face Sunderland in the Capital One Cup. And they looked completely different.

The man himself, Romelu Lukaku, who hadn`t been on the scorers list for 5 games, took control and dominated the Sunderland defense, as he scored his first hat-trick for Everton(and the first hat-trick for Everton overall this season).

While Sunderland was looking extremely poor, Everton still needed this boost of confidence, as their next opponent would be their toughest and most important one so far.

Liverpool 3-2 Everton

Yes, the final game of September was against the all mighty Liverpool. The Merseyside derby. Fans were fired up, the players were prepared and the coaches were scared, as it is one of the few games both teams do not want to lose.

The game started well for Liverpool as Joe Allen scored a quick goal to go up 1-0 after a great pass from Sterling. However, a foul in the box gave Everton a chance to tie the game up from the penalty spot, which they did, as Leighton Baines scored a beautiful penalty.

The reply though was quick. 3 minutes later, a cross into the box and a stunning header from Mario Balotelli gave Liverpool the upper hand.

During the start of the second half, Liverpool looked like the better team, as they went on to score, with Lazar Markovic just speeding past the defender and knocking it past Tim Howard. It was his first goal for Liverpool and in the Premier League.

A late reply from The Ox did come, but it wasn`t enough to win the game, as Liverpool and Rodgers took 3 points from the Toffees and Neville.

Not the greatest month, but we still played well. I do need a new center back in January. At the moment, Distin and Jagielka are both in very bad form, and the youngster are playing well but they still don´t cut it. The game against Liverpool was the hardest, I shouldn`t have really lost the game against Luzern, but eh, accidents happen.

Next post might be before Friday or is going to be next week, as I am going away on holiday to Germany on Friday. So, no promises when the next post will be, I guess you will have to wait and see.

Boom, that's my boys. 3-2 to the real club on Merseyside, (let's over look that Everton existed first). Whooooo!!!!!!
