AZ Manager Gardner Negotiating with Wales FA

CARDIFF, Wales, Dec 6 - An American manager of a Dutch club being hired to lead to the Welsh national team? It's possible. AZ head man Gardner has been pursued for a international job due to his innovative style, and it seems the Wales FA is pursuing the hardest. "We're clearly looking to bring Gardner aboard. We've seen how creative he is, and believe he's the perfect man to help Gareth Bale dominate internationally" the President of the Wales FA said today. We'll see if Gardner takes the chance or waits for a different opportunity

Glad to read that Wilson will be staying a Grecian! Looking forward to seeing how you prepare for the upcoming season

Round 2 is on! I'm positive promotion won't escape the daggers this time around! I wouldn't worry too much about the Reading match seeing as it's the only defeat in the entire month. Only 3 points off of direct promotion hope you can keep it up and get promoted safely away from another playoff. I think the Monzon injury was scripted. The majority of my injuries have been training injuries the day after the transfer deadline day, just like Monzon's. Coincidence? No such thing with EA.

It is that my team is to weak for this competition so i decided i would try to not get relegated, and wait for my youth players to grow another year aswell as my normal squad players.

                Swansea City Career

                King to a Jack

                September 2014

                Swansea 0-0 Southampton
                MOTM: Fernandez (Swa)
Poor performance in front of goal. Gomis was heavily marked, so the wingers were my only threats, and Campbell also played badly. He was subbed for Dyer, who then missed a sitter after some brilliant skill from Montero. Not much else to mention.

                (Capital One Cup: Round 3)
                Fulham 1-3 Swansea (aet)
                Ful Rodallega 44’
                Swa Donnelly 80’ 114’ Montero 111’
                MOTM: Donnelly (Swa)
What’d we do without Jeff? Donnelly hit the crossbar from an early corner, before McCormack did the same twice in a row, the last one rebounding straight into the path of Rodallega, who converted. Montero provided a brilliant through ball for Donnelly to draw level, but Fulham attacked immediately after that and Fabianski made a super save from McCormack. In extra time, Jeff converted into an open goal after a nice Dyer pass went through the keeper’s legs, and Donnelly scored a volley to seal the deal. Carroll also managed to sprain his ankle, and is out for a month. >_>

                Sunderland 1-3 Swansea
                Sun Johnson 80’
                Swa Taylor 24’ Montero 45’ Gomis 84’
                MOTM: Montero (Swa)
Once again, Montero steals the show with a nice through ball leading to Taylor’s goal, then he converted off the post from a rebounded corner. Campbell hit the bar with a header in the second half, and Sunderland broke away, with Adam Johnson tucking a nice chip into the bottom corner. Gomis put the game to bed with a header from Campbell's cross.
                Press Conference

Journalist: So Jack, how are you feeling about that manager of the month award?

Williams: I really don’t care too much. Of course it helps a club to have a good manager, but at the end of the day, it’s the players who go out on the pitch and win the matches.

Journalist: How did it feel to come up against Garry Monk’s struggling Southampton? Playing your former co-worker at Swansea must have been difficult for you.

Williams: Yeah, it was nice to see Garry again, but Southampton knew how we played, and cut everything we tried out immediately.

Journalist: So, a win and a draw in the league this month, and still top, do you realistically think you can end up around here come the final day?

Williams: I don’t know about the title, but, as I said at the start of the season, our aim is the Euro League, and we’re currently on course to do at least that.

Journalist: Gomis is still top of the scoring charts with 5, and also level with Montero on assists with 3. How are the other new signings fitting in?

Williams: Well, most of them are working very well with the rest of the team. David is probably the best goalkeeper in the league, and Federico is a brick in defence. Joel and Ivo are playing on and off at the moment, but once they are completely used to the team structure they will be seen more as well.

Journalist: I recently heard that you’d added several youth players to your academy. Care to tell us about this?

Williams: Well, some of our talent scouts have decided that some of our older players, such as Ash and Leon, should have adequate replacements for when they do eventually retire, which we hope won’t be too soon, so I decided that we should beginning to scout out talent around the world. We recently found a young Serb lad, and he scored 50 goals as a winger in the Serbian Youth League, so we decided to bring him on board, and if he wasn’t only 14, I’d say he was ready for his first team debut already. He could be a world class player in the future (Antun Ladic, 62-71 ovr, 83-94 pot).

Journalist: Finally, talking about your younger players, how pleased are you with Kenji Gorre, who won the player of the month in League 2 with Portsmouth, and scored 4 goals in that time?

Williams: I’m ecstatic at his progress there, and some of our other young players on loan, such as Gregor [Zabret] and Raheem [Hanley] are also playing good, first team football with their loan clubs, Coventry and MK Dons respectively.

                October 2014

                Swansea 2-0 Newcastle
                Swa Taylor 87’ Britton 90’
                MOTM:Taylor (Swa)
Probably my hardest match so far, despite winning by 2 goals. Krul was near impossible to beat, and the defenders all won at least 4 tackles each on both teams. Cisse almost scored 3 or 4 times, but we finally managed to get a goal in the dying minutes as Taylor was played through exquisitely by Ilicevic and bundled it past the keeper. Britton got a goal with the last touch of the match, as the 5’6 lad somehow got his head on the end of a Campbell cross.

                Stoke 1-4 Swansea
Stk Shawcross 38’ (Off) Bojan 85’ Assaidi 88’ (Off)
Swa Gomis 34’ Emnes 40’ (Pen) Taylor 56’ Campbell 89’ (Pen)
                MOTM: Gomis (Swa)
Very strange and scrappy match, with 12 fouls altogether. Almost all end-to-end at the start, but Gomis made the breakthrough after a half hour, and then the tackles started flying in. Amat was yellow carded, before Shawcross was sent off for a nasty challenge on Shelvey, and Emnes converted the resultant penalty to finally get a goal. Taylor once again scored, continuing his great form. It took a little while, but Stoke got one back through substitute Bojan’s free kick, before Assaidi was sent off for a tackle that injured Emnes, and Campbell converted the second penalty to make sure of the win.

                Swansea 3-2 Leicester
                Swa Sigurdsson 11’ Gomis 45’ 87’
                Lei Hammond 42’ Powell 64’
                MOTM: Gomis (Swa)
Leicester started off strongly, forcing De Gea to make some excellent saves, but it was Sigurdsson who scored the opener, scrappily nutmegging the keeper. The game went quiet for a while, but Leicester broke away from a corner and Hammond rifled past David. Gomis snatched one back on the stroke of half time, but Powell equalised due to a glaring defensive error from Richards. The game looked to be finishing level, but sub Campbell’s shot rebounded off Schmeichel and into the path of Gomis, who converted acrobatically.

                (Capital One Cup: Round 4)
                Swansea 1-2 Arsenal
                Swa Gomis 6’
                Ars Ramsey 45’ Diaby 57’
                MOTM: Diaby (Ars)
Both Bony and Campbell started against their old clubs, but Campbell’s new one was the first to score, with Gomis finishing off a brilliant individual run from the halfway line with a screamer. Szczesny made some terrific saves, and Aaron Ramsey fouled Tom Carroll nastily, leaving him with another sprained ankle. He then scored after Swansea gave away the resultant free kick, and Diaby tapped the winner in a little after half time. Amat then had a brilliant chance, but it hit the outside of the post and went behind.

Table as of 31 October 2014 (All played 9)

                Swansea 22
                Man U 22
                Arsenal 18
                Man City 17
                Newcastle 17
                Everton 16

                ………………

                Stoke 9
                Southampton 5
                Hull 4
                Burnley 4

                Press Conference

Journalist: Well done on your progress this month! Still top of the league! Is there anything in particular you want to attribute this to?

Williams: It’s just the devotion and ability of the players showing. We’re 5 points clear of the 4th placed team already, and if we keep this form up, we could, realistically, end up in a Champions League spot! It’ll also help in the run-in that we’ll only be in 2 competitions max. Liverpool are still in four, and they’re 13th, but Man U are also just in 2, one of which hasn’t started, and they’re level with us.

Journalist: Well, it’s a little early to be talking about challenging for the title yet, but the European goal seems realistic now. What do you think about the performance which dumped you out of the cup?

Williams: Well, with such a small squad, players get tired, and it’s probably for the best that we’re not going to be tiring ourselves out with two, three games per week. It wasn't our best performance by any means, but I don't think we played that badly.

Journalist: We heard that you have been holding talks with PSG about the availability of Adrien Rabiot and Marco Verratti in January. Can you tell us anything about that?

Williams: No, I won’t answer any questions about transfers, unless a move has been completed.

Journalist: We’ve also heard some rumours about job offers. More specifically, Lille offered you the managerial position, and the USA and Denmark both wanted you to take up the head coach role. Jurgen Klinsmann’s departure to Schalke was surprising, but it opens up a nice opportunity for you. Are you going to accept?

Williams: I can tell you that I will not be leaving Swansea so quickly, unless I am sacked, which I’d hope won’t happen, or a massive job offer came in. However, I am unsure about the international roles that I have been offered, as it might make my results at Swansea drop, and I’d prefer to stay at a top club than an international team.

Journalist: Okay then, final question, what do you think about Aaron Ramsey’s nasty tackle on Tom Carroll?

Williams: Well, it was very bad. He’s lucky none of the ligaments were seriously damaged, but they were strained quite a bit, so he’s got my lad out for a month, and he gets away with barely a slap on the wrist. It’s frustrating when just a match or so ago, two players were sent straight off for tackles that were rather mild, and then a terrible one comes in and the ref doesn’t do anything, when he was standing directly in front of it. Now, I’ve got to go, big match tomorrow.

Any advice on whether I should take the international job offers will be appreciated!

Mc Parland plays the loan game

New Cambridge United manager Mc Parland has loaned out 5 of his players. These include Taylor, Horne, Norris, Hurst and Whittall.

The club have also said farewell to star player Appiah, who has moved to Itlay in order to play for Seria A side Empoli. The fee is though to be in the reign of €650k. Mc Parland had this to say: "We are sad to see this talented player go. But the money was to much to refuse. We wish Appiah the best of luck in Italy's top tier."

Manager Mc Parland announced the loan signing of James Wilson from Manchester United. "We are very excited to have such a good player join our club. Albeit temporary." Is what the manager said.

Cambridge United have also completed more loan signings. Reece James and Sam Johnstone joining the club. "I worked with these players as manager of the under 21's. They are very exciting, and I can't wait to start working with them again. It's the same with James Wilson".

Cambridge's final piece of business was the signing of Juventus wideman Mattiello... on loan "We're very excited to have this lad join us for the season. He can shore up our winger woes." Mc Parland said.

Cambridge has made one more signing. Youth Scout Simon Jones has been signed for €30,000. He will scour England for talent for 3 months.

Cambridge United's Player of the Month:
                  James Wilson.
An excellent performance this month. He is the league's top scorer with 6 goals.
Hopefully he can keep this incredible record up.
I just hope we don't get too reliant on him because we'll run into problems if that happens.

Ok, that's it for now. I hope you enjoyed my first update back on the forum.
Any feedback will be appreciated. Bye!

                    NOVEMBER

                    SHREWSBURY 3
                    Collins 36’, 51’, 61’

                    Harewood 3’
                    Collins 67’

After back to back draws it was important for Wilson’s men to return to winning ways and they just did that at New Meadow, via a James Collins. Marlon Harewood gave the visitors a surprise lead just 3 minutes in but the Shrews had levelled before the break with their leading goal scorer notching his 10th of the campaign. 2 goals in 10 minutes for Collins sealed the game to keep Shrewsbury unbeaten in the league this season.

                    BURY 1
                    Sedgwick 15’

                    SHREWSBURY 1
                    Collins 21’

Both goals came in the first half as Bury performed well to frustrate and hold leaders Shrewsbury. The hosts took the lead through Sedgwick after a fantastic through ball enable him to tap in. It didn’t take long for the Shrews to respond, and they did so through their talisman James Collins. But Wilson’s men struggled to get to grips with the game and will see the point as 2 dropped given Bury’s league position.

                    MANSFIELD 1
                    Bell 38’

Dean Wilson cut a very despondent figure on the touchline as his Shrewsbury side struggled their way past relegation candidates Mansfield. His side fell behind just before the break through some poor defending, piling more misery on their cup exit in the week. Fortunately James Collins carried his team to victory, scoring 2 goals in 12 second half minutes keeping the Shrews top of the table.

                    NORTHAMPTON 1
                    Nicholls 59’

                    SHREWSBURY 0

Dean Wilson and his side slumped to their first league defeat of the season at the hands of Northampton. It was a game where the Shrews failed to create any clear cut chances and were punished when Nicholls headed in from a corner just before the hour mark. It has been clear that Shrewsbury have not performing well of late and it will certainly be seen as their first real mis-hap of the campaign.

                    SHREWSBURY 2
                    Akpro 41’
                    Griffith 50’

                    LUTON 1
                    Cullen 22’

Dean Wilson’s ground out a home victory over promotion candidates Luton to return to winning ways. The Shrews once again fell behind in the first half but Akpa Akpro was able to level the scores just before the break. Anthony Griffith score his 2nd of the season 5 minutes after the restart to seal the much needed points for Shrewsbury who remain near the top of the table.

Instead I want to say sorry to our fans because our performances this month have been disappointing. It has been a month of grinding and we have tasted defeat for the first time in the league. All I can say is bear with us.

                        Transfers IN:

                        Ryan Allsop: Loan from Bournemouth
                        Frank Nouble: £950,000 from Ipswich
Ryan Bennett: £1 million from Norwich

                        Match 27

                        Coventry 1-0 Preston
                        Nouble 12

This match was the last of quite a few members of the core of your side. How are you going to cope with that?

To be honest, I really don't know. It is beyond me why the former manager only took them till January. Allsop is the best keeper in the league and Nouble our top scorer. It is beyond me, but we will find a way to cope and I have my eye out for replacements. However, Frank and Ryan scored and kept a clean sheet respectively so they had a good game.

Coventry announce Jackson to move to France

Coventry and Canada striker has joined Ligue 1 side, Stade Reims for £1.2 million. The Canadian striker had not been in good form recently and Cee will be happy to let him go for £500,000 more than his valuation. It is the first sign of the movement to the new all British policy.

Ryan Allsop returns to the RICOH

Ryan Allsop has returned on loan till the end of the season to Coventry. The 22 year old keeper had kept the most clean sheets in the league before his loan expired and Cee was disappointed to have him gone but is said to be delighted to have him back.

                        Match 28

                        Walsall 1-2 Coventry
                        Sawyers 10
                        Akpom 12
                        Tudgay 17 (PEN)

You came out with a win today, despite losing some crucial players.

Yeah, just about. I'm happy with defence, they protected Burge after he conceded that goal. Akpom curled in impressively and the penalty was a definite penalty.

                        FA Cup Round 3

                        Coventry 7-1 Preston
                        Davies 37
                        Maddison 43
                        Bamford 45
                        Humphrey 47 (RED)
                        Fleck 50
                        Bamford 59
                        Maddison 66
                        Johnson 79
                        Maddison 90 (PEN)

Oh my goodness, what a result

That was crazy. To go behind with only 8 minutes left of the half to scoring 7 in the rest of the game. I was especially impressed with Maddison making his debut and getting a hat-trick. Fleck played well and Reda scored in what could be his last game. Absolutely incredible, Bamford and Maddisons composure was great.

Club Captain departs for bigger things

Coventry captain Reda Johnson has been sold to Premier League side West Ham for £1.3 million. Reda had been instrumental at the back but a bid was accepted and he was eager for the chance to play in the Premier League. This sale means Coventry's side is all British.

                        Match 29

                        Coventry 2-0 Swindon
                        Bamford 33
                        Fleck 61

A good game for you today

Yep. Bamford is showing how he can be a great replacement for Jackson and that goal by Fleck was outstanding. 30 yards out, bang, top corner. Unbelievable.

JP Trophy Area Final Leg 1

                        Coventry 2-0 Gillingham
                        Akpom 30
                        Maddison 67

You have the advantage going into the second leg of this Area Final from a good display. How are you going to prepare for the second leg?

As usual. Chuba and James scored goals that were our typical style, good play on the ball and get through on goal. There was no special preparation for the tie, it was just a normal week of training.

                        Match 30

                        Fleetwood 1-2 Coventry
                        Webster 25
                        Tudgay 74
                        Romero 84

                        Not a bad result today

After their last performance against us, I knew it would be difficult and it was again. Webster headed in from a corner and Tudgay gave us a good lead but when they got one back they were on the front foot. We were not so impressive today.

Frank Nouble returns to Coventry on permanent deal

Coventry top scorer Frank Nouble has returned to Coventry for £950,000 from Ipswich. The young striker was top scorer for Coventry before his loan expired and after having a second loan approach rejected, Cee decided to try and sign him permanently.

                        Match 31

                        Coventry 0-0 MK Dons

You just can't seem to get a win against the Dons.

It's annoying me. They defended so well today, and I owed Chavez a win against them. We just couldn't score. In fact, I don't want to talk about it.

                        FA Cup Round 4

                        Coventry 1-1 Wigan
                        Swanson 88
                        Kvist 90

That must be so gutting to have a late goal cancelled out.

It was. When Swanson knocked that in I was delighted. Delort had been driving us crazy so to keep him out was great. Credit Wigan though for coming back and equalising straight away.

Coventry sign former Premier League defender

Coventry City have completed the deadline day signing of 24 year old defender Ryan Bennett from Norwich for £1 million. It is said he took a £5,000 pay rise to join the lower division, but Coventry will be pleased with getting a good replacement for Johnson.

                        League Table

                        1. Coventry 80
                        2. Sheffield United 66
                        3. Preston 61

Sercombe laid the ball off to Wilson who used a great first touch to cause the defender to run past him leaving him open for the 1 on 1 finish. Sheffield Untied was able to earn a draw after some great passing led to Flynn getting the ball at the top of the box. He then placed the ball into the upper left corner with a good touch of skill.

                                EXE - Cummins 6', 84', Reid 12', Sercombe 45'

Cummins opened it up after taking the ball away from the defender. The keeper got a hand on his shot but the ball still found it's way into the net. Reid scored after following up his own shot that was saved by the keeper for the 2-0 lead. Sercombe then fired a shot from the right side of the goal that settled just inside the near post. Exeter then went on the counter attack and the ball was played up to Grimes who laid it across the goal face for Cummins to tap in for his second of the night.

Wilson found van Nieff on a run up the middle and threaded it through to him to finish across his body to the right side of the goal. Preston then opened up with a headed finish by Kilkenny off a cross. Garner then scored two more back-to-back on quick turn and shoot attempts to pull Preston ahead. Kilkenny scored another after a well struck shot threaded through the defense and into the net. Holmes finished it off with a strike that hit the keeper, but still bounced into the goal.

Sercombe scored on a powerful shot that went off the keepers hands and in to put Exeter in the lead. MacDonald then scored his first goal in an Exeter City shirt after he followed up his shot that was saved and doubled the lead. Wesolowski then converted from the penalty spot after a weak call by the referee to put Shrewsbury on the board.

A high scoring affair where goals were plenty, and defense was scarce. Exeter stole the show with the attacking strength. The night was capped off by a trio of powerful strikes from new man van Nieff, as well as a brace from fellow new signee MacDonald.

Butterfield came forward from his right back spot and cut in from the wing before hitting a left footed shot that went off the keeper's hands and in. Burgess headed home a cross from Reid to double the lead soon after. Off a corner, McKenzie headed the ball down and Burgess finished it off. Just before half Madden slipped the ball in on the near post to put S****horpe on the board. After a mostly uneventful second half Syers headed in a cross to score the final goal of the night.

                                Transfers In

Alex MacDonald - Pre-Contract from Burton Albion

Alex MacDonald came up through the Burnley academy making very few appearances for the senior side, and spending most of his career out on loan to several clubs including Exeter rivals Plymouth Argyle. He joined Burton Albion in 2013 where he finally found a consistent place in the squad. He plays on the outside of the midfield, but is expected to play further forward in a wing role for Exeter when he joins next season. He is know for his exceptional work rates on both ends, and is the kind of player that should't take long to win over the Exeter supporters.

Liam Ridehalgh - Pre-Contract from Tranmere Rovers

Liam Ridehalgh came up through the Huddersfield system but spent the majority of his career there out on loan to various League 2 clubs. He joined Tranmere in 2014 on a 1 year contract, and Bumosix was able to grab him away from the club to join Exeter after the season. Liam is a left sided defender who appears to be brought in as the eventual replacement for Woodman's left back spot. The fullback recently signed an extension for 2 more seasons with Exeter, but he is on the wrong side of 30, and it was expected that Bumosix would begin looking for his successor sooner rather than later.

James Wilson - Option to buy for £450K picked up

Tex Bumosix has decided to exercise the option to buy that was a part of Exeter's loan agreement with Manchester United. United are surely second guessing their decision some after Wilson tore through the opposition last season scoring nearly 50 goals in the process. Exeter supporters are hoping to be excited by his displays on the pitch for years to come.

Scott Burgess - Loaned from Bury

Scott Burgess joined Bury's senior squad from their academy just last season and has very little experience on the pitch. Bury were looking for a chance to get him playing time, and Tex Bumosix was looking for depth on the wing. This is likely to be a beneficial move for all parties involved.

Yoell van Nieff - £475K from FC Groningen

Yoell van Nieff was the big name signing for the summer for Exeter City. The dutch midfielder is making the move from the Eredivisie after coming through the ranks at FC Groningen and making his senior debut in 2013. While still young, he has shown great skill on set pieces and has the abilities to play both sides of the ball in the midfield.

Jimmy Keohane - £70K to Mansfield Town
David Wheeler - £260K to Cercle Brugge
Aaron Dawson - Loaned to Crawley Town
Ollie Watkins - Loaned to Oldham Athletic
Jodan Tillson - Loaned to Luton Town
Jason Pope - Loaned to S****horpe United
Matthew Jay - Loaned to Dagenham

                                Youth Academy

Adam McCartan (Northern Ireland) 16 years old 46-56 OVR 68-84 POT.
                                - So far has played several roles at the youth level, mainly in the midfield and as a forward. He is still looking to earn a permanent position with the coaches.

Carl Little (Northern Ireland) 15 years old 39-43 OVR 72-80 POT.
                                - Carl Little has stepped up for the youth team playing as a center back. At only 15, he still has some growing to do to have a future at the position.

Chris Dean (United States) 16 years old 43-47 OVR 67-75 POT.
                                - Combined pace with creativity has made him a natural for the CAM role. He is the first American signing brought over by Tex Bumosix to the youth academy.

Drew Tootle (England) 17 years old 54-58 OVR 70-74 POT.
-The young keeper is a giant at 6'5" and only 17 years old. He has the potential to be the future first choice keeper for Exeter if he develops properly.

Isaac Fryers (England) 15 years old 56-60 OVR 75-81 POT.
-The young 15 year old prefers to play right in the center of the pitch. He plays with a more defensive mindset, but has a tendency to play more in the center rather than in the traditional holding position.

Josh Meenan (Northern Ireland) 15 years old 45-49 OVR 71-79 POT.
                                - The young boy from Northern Ireland has natural talents at keeper, but his future will be determined on how much he grows over the coming years since he is standing only 5'7" at the moment. If he hits a growth spurt as expected, his future seems bright.

Leon Robinson (England) 16 years old 57-61 OVR 74-80 POT.
-At only 16 years old, he has found himself a role as a right back within the youth squad. He is a pacey right back who likes to get involved in the attack with his ability to overlap with the midfielders.

Luke McClure (Northern Ireland) 16 years old 54-64 OVR 85-94 POT.
                                - Has the look of a natural winger on the pitch. Still has yet to establish himself as a favorite on the left or the right side, but his future is certainly as a forward.

Paddy McEleney (Northern Ireland) 16 years old 42-54 OVR 66-84 POT.
                                - Another giant in the academy to challenge for the keeper position of the future. Standing at 6'3" he isn't quite as tall as Tootle, but has plenty of the height required for his position.

Exeter City Player of the Month

                                Yoell van Nieff

Yoell van Nieff made an immediate impact with his new team this month scoring 4 goals, including a hat-trick against Bradford City. His attacking work rate has paid off, and there is surely more still to come from the Dutch midfielder.

                                Press Conference

Thank you all for being here today. A new season, new players, new league. This is a very exciting time for Exeter City right now. I am going to open it up for questions now.

Q: You have moved up to League 1 this season and will now be facing the next level of competition on a daily basis. Where do you feel your team should finish this season?

A: I think anything short of mid-table would be a huge disappointment, but we are going to aim for more than that. We are confident in our abilities after last season, not just from league play, but from our cup performances as well. I think we have a good shot to be a challenger in this league.

Q: A lot of changes have been made to the squad in preparation for the season. What can you tell us about these moves, and about your vision for the club?

A: We had to let some people go, but that was for the purpose of bringing others in. As already announces, we are keeping James Wilson on a permanent basis, but we have made a few more moves as well. We have our two pre-contract players brought in that we agreed with last January and we are excited to finally have them in our facilities. We are also thrilled to bring in Yoell van Nieff to the club as well. He is a very skilled player, and I think he will have no problems finding his place in the starting XI. We unfortunately had to let a few players go in the process. That is football though.

Q: Your youth academy has made big strides, including two players now on the squad who came through the system. How important will these players be to the club's future?

A: That all remains to be seen. Each player we bring through our academy has a chance to be an important player for the future of this club, but it all remains to be seen if the will fulfill that potential or not. We are excited to finally have a great core of young boys to build around now. As more earn their call ups, we will establish a true Exeter City identity within the club.

Thank you everyone, that is all we have time for today. There is a lot of work to do in order to get the club ready for the bulk of the season. The more time we all get together, the better we will play. I look forward to speaking to you all again next time.
