Europa League
Sion 1 - 2 Hellas Verona
Vidosic 88'
Dybala 45', Longo 90'
- Our first game in the group stage and we wanted to win it
- The first half was tough and Sion kept possession
- Dybala managed to score an amazing goal in stoppage time by cutting from the left between two defenders and shooting a powerful near post shot
- The second half was even but Vidosic equaled in the last minutes with a header
- We went on the attack and Longo got the winner with a near post shot
Juventus 0 - 1 Hellas Verona
Junuzovic 56'
- Juve trashed us last season twice and we wanted revenge

- Ten minutes after the start of the second half Mattia Valoti got the ball on the edge of the box
- He dribbled there, looking for space for a pass

Press Conference
You had a fantastic month, dropping only two points and staying in first place in the league. What do you think of your performances this month?
The last three games were really good and we showed that we are a top team with a lot of quality. The first two games on the other hand were really bad. We drew with an average team like Genoa thanks to a late goal and we were simply terrible against Sion. Luckily we managed to win that game. So no, the month wasn't fantastic but it was pretty good. The win against Juventus was a good performance by the team.
You tried two different formations this month. Why?
Firstly, our usual 4-4-2 didn't work in the first two games. Then we decided to experiment and we decided that a 5-3-2 could work well and it did. We didn't dominate the games anymore but we got good results. I still don't think it fits our playing style, though.
Eric Dier got injured in the game against Bologna for three months. How will this affect your playing?
Losing Eric was a huge blow. He is a very good player who can defend well and he is an important piece of our defence. If we decide to play four at the back Alessio Romagnoli will take his spot. If we play with five defenders Raul Rodriguez will take the spot.
How have your summer signings performed so far in your opinion?
They have been very good. Paulo (Dybala) has scored eight goals in eight games, Arkad (Milik) has been dangerous coming from the bench, Alessandro (Florenzi) has played very good and he is a key player, Matteo Darmian has been solid defensively and our centre backs Alessio (Romagnoli) and Eric (Dier) have adjusted well to the team and they are already in the starting eleven next to Rafa Marquez.
Is it true that you rejected an offer to manage the Spanish national team?
Yes, it is. I have no interest in managing a national team at all right now. I will reject all offers without blinking except for two and those two will come from my beloved Italy and Bulgaria.
I'm sorry this update took so long to post, I haven't played that much FIFA lately and I finished the month yesterday. There should be another update later.
I have a question for you. Do you guys prefer the match recaps being like they are now or being like they were before (kind of like how Tex and Chico do theirs)?
Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
4 points from 4 matches, from this point it doesn't look so good, but you had two good results away against Bolton (3rd) and a great win against Watford, you played 4 difficult matches. Still time to reach the playoffs, you have now 3 Home matches to get closer, also one of them is against Barnsley that is struggling in the danger zone.
Looking forward to the next fixtures!Good luck.
Good luck! I look forward to reading about it!Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Exeter City F.C.
FIFA 15 - Season 2
The Grecians
Spoiler
December
Exeter City 1 - Leicester City 2
EXE - Wilson 27' (Pen)
LEI - Vardy 4', 71'
Vardy flicked on a cross with a perfectly placed header to the right post to take an early lead. Wilson converted from the penalty spot after Jamieson drew the foul inside the box to tie it up. Vardy then added his second of the night with a strong left footed strike from outside the box that settled just inside the top right corner.
Huddersfield 0 - Exeter City 4
EXE - McClure 7', McCartan 24', McKenzie 69', Jamieson IV 90'
McClure chased down an over the top ball while holding off a defender on his back before sliding to beat the keeper to the ball and knock it in. Wilson sent a cross from the right side of the goal that McCartan extended to tap into the goal to double the lead. McCartan sent McKenzie a ball through a small gap that he was able to finish in the near post and put the match out of reach. With the match almost over McKenzie found Jamieson on the right side of the goal and he fired it hard off the keeper's hands and in.
Exeter City 2 - Blackburn Rovers 2
EXE - Ginnelly 90', Hesketh 90'
BLB - Marshall 2', 77'
Marshall took advantage of an early foul and struck a long distance free kick into the top right corner of the net. He then found another after finding the gap in the defense to receive the ball and finish easily past the keeper and double the lead. With time almost out Jamieson dribbled all the way to the end line right of the goal and sent a cross that Ginnelly found with his head to give Exeter a late 90th minute goal. Relentless pressure by Wilson on the ensuing kick off resulted in a takeaway that he took all the way down and fired at the goal but the keeper was able to get a hand on it. Hesketh tracked the rebound and was able to knock it home to earn a draw after two 90th minute Exeter goals.
Watford 1 - Exeter City 1
WAT - Ighalo 45'
EXE - McKenzie 88'
With the half winding down a great display of passing led to an easy goal for Ighalo on the left side to open the game. With Exeter desperate for an equalizer late in the match, McKenzie leaped over a sliding challenge and pushed through to beat the keeper and earn the draw.
Exeter City 3 - Leeds United 2
EXE - Jamieson IV 34', 90', Cooper 75' (OG)
LEE - Doukara 45', Dockal 78'
Van Nieff sent the corner into the box and Jamieson flicked it on to the far post for the first goal of the match. Doukara ran right past the defense and received the ball in the box to even it up for Leeds just before half. Dean worked his way to the left side of the goal before firing a shot that deflected off a defender and into the net counting for an own goal. Dockal brought Leeds back into it once again as he rose over two defenders to head it back to the near post and in. In the 90th minute Jamieson attacked the box and fired a strong right footed shot that went off the keeper's hands and into the net for the winner.
Exeter City 5 - Crystal Palace 1
EXE - Jamieson IV 15', Wilson 16', Ridehalgh 39', van Nieff 40', Pym 45' (Pen)
CRY - Griffiths 14'
Griffiths put Crystal Palace ahead with a great header off a cross into the middle of the box. Jamieson answered back almost immediately with a great individual effort that resulted in a strike to the right side of the goal. Wilson took the ball away on the ensuing kickoff and attacked to the right before placing the ball to the far left post. Ridehalgh attacked from the left wing dribbling into the box before firing a low shot to the right post. Van Nieff then added another almost immediately beating the defense to fire past the keeper. With the game already looking out of reach a penalty was awarded and Exeter gave the nod to their keeper to take the shot and Pym converted for his first goal of his career.

Youth Academy
Antonio Lopes (Mexico) 15 years old 39-49 OVR 69-89 POT
-Antonio Lopes has the potential to be a solid defender, although his exact position is yet to be determined. At 15 his 5'6" frame still has room to grow, his final height could make him a great candidate for the middle of the defense.
Carl Little (Northern Ireland) 17 years old 56-60 OVR 74-80 POT.
- Carl Little has stepped up for the youth team playing as a center back. The 16 year old hit his growth spurt that the youth doctors were expecting and now stands at 6'1" giving him a bright future in the center of the defense.
Jay Holmes (England) 15 years old 71-75 OVR 88-94 POT.
-Jay Holmes has the look of something special. His technical abilities are far beyond his age and enable him to be extremely effective in the CAM role of the midfield. He is no doubt one to keep an eye on moving forward.
Josh Meenan (Northern Ireland) 16 years old 58-62 OVR 72-78 POT.
- The young boy from Northern Ireland has natural talents at keeper, but his future will be determined on how much he grows over the coming years since he is standing only 5'7" at the moment. If he hits a growth spurt as expected, his future seems bright.
Rafael Lopez (Mexico) 15 years old 49-55 OVR 69-77 POT.
-Rafael looks like he will settle on the left side of the midfield where he spends the majority of his time on the youth squad. His main attributes are in pace and the coaches are hoping that his technical abilities will catch up in time.
Xabi Rodriguez (Mexico) 15 years old 54-58 OVR 89-94 POT.
-Xabi at just 15 from Mexico already shows a lot of promise. His permanent position has not yet been determined, but his future appears to be in either the midfield or as a forward. Everyone will be keeping a close eye on his development.
Exeter City Player of the Month
Bradford Jamieson IV
Jamieson led the attack at times throughout the month proving himself capable with 4 goals to add to his tally. He is now second in the league in goals, only just slightly behind James Wilson. He has become a major part of a two headed monster that is terrorizing the league.
Press Conference
Q: You dropped a spot this month, but remain only just 1 point back from the top. Several draws and a loss caused you to drop the points that resulted in that, but still you must be happy with where you are?
A: Happy? I'm not sure I would go that far. I am pleased with where we are, but those dropped points could come back to haunt us by the end of the season. There is still a whole other half of the season to play so we will see how it all shapes up.
Q: Graham Cummins has officially put in a transfer request. He has been at the club since you took over, serving as the primary backup for James Wilson. In his appearances he has always seemed effective, what is the cause of his demand?
A: Graham is an extremely talented striker that could start for a wide array of clubs. I think that he is ready for the challenge to be the featured striker for a club, and I don't fault him for that. I will do my best to get him into a beneficial position and I wish him the best going forward.
Q: Will you be making any changes to the squad now that the transfer window is open? The squad is in great form, but surely there is always room for improvement?
A: Players cost money, and with our current form we don't need to be spending money aimlessly. In an ideal world I would buy every player I've ever had my eye on, but we have to be smart. I think right now our depth as well as our quality are both looking great. Our current plans are to stay as we are, but things can always change depending on who becomes available.

*New Additions
Adam Behich - DEF - (34-40, 72-84) - 15 y/o - Australia
Not yet settled on a position he looks to have a bit of pace and is agile.
Akahito Kazuyoshi - CB - (46-48, 88-94) - 15 y/o - Japan
Looks like he could be a real star. He is described as a Playmaker but listed as a CB and has the stats of a playmaker. He will be a very very good player and I am excited about him.
Danny Hassell - CB - (55-59, 80-86) - 16 y/o - England
Looking like he'll be a solid centre half in years to come. Another May update will do him the world of good. Hopefully he grows from his current 5'9".
Oliver Pain - LW - (52-56, 75-81) - 15 y/o - Australia
This 15 year old Aussie has decent potential to reach and has now decided to play on the wing. Looks like he could be a very solid player in the future.
Sam McGowan - MID/LW - (34-40, 65-77) - 15 y/o - Australia
The youngster is undecided on his position as of yet but his better stats are the defensive ones so he'll probably settle at CM/CDM.
Shannon Woodcock - CB - (48-50, 69-73) - 16 y/o - Australia
The second centre half in the academy he is the lesser of the two. Nonetheless he has a bright future. Standing at 6'2" he has a suitable height for the postion.
Yusuke Toyoshima - CM - (44-46, 69-73) - 16 y/o - Japan
Described as Technically Gifted he is projected to being a bench player for us in the future. Hopefully he grows as he is only 5'5".

This is my last update on Wycombe. I wish I could've brought them to the Premier League but FIFA 15 is calling! I'm doing a player career with Sligo Rovers until Xmas day and then it'll be onto Swansea City glory and eventually Roma!
I hope you enjoyed the journey!
Thanks for reading! Any feedback is appreciated!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
keano I applaud you for what you've done with Wycombe so far. We all have horrible stretches of games where we just cant do anything. That barnsley loss is a heartbreaker but you will bounce back eventually

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Exeter City F.CFIFA 15 – Season 1
The Grecians
September
Skybet League 2 Match:
Exeter City 4 – Wycombe 2
EXE- Cummins (5’)Reid picks the ball up wide on the left, skips past the full back and crosses it in with his weaker foot. It floats to Cummins, who uses his strength to keep the defender behind him and volley the ball with his weaker foot into the bottom corner.
Bennett got injured in seventh minute. (Replaced for Pat Baldwin)
EXE - Cummins (22’)This one is a simple one for Cummins who, when Nichols loses the ball, instantly presses the defender with the ball. Once again he uses his strength to pull the defender back and nicks the ball off him. Cummins shows how good his form is by just casually flicking the ball over the sprawling goalkeeper to make it two. You can instantly see that Cummins is looking of a third for himself.
EXE - Nichols (39’)Reid brakes away down the left, leaving everyone for pace. He crosses a hard, low ball into the corridor of uncertainty and Tom Nichols comes out of nowhere and slides along the floor to poke it in.Sercombe was injured in forty-second minute after a collision on the half-way line. (Replaced for Oakley)
EXE - Cummins (74’)After some patient and skilful team passing Wheeler bombs down the right and delivers a low cross into the box. Cummins is first to react and somehow gets in front of the goalkeeper and prod the ball into the net to make it a hat-trick. He runs into the technical area and celebrates with his manager.
WYC - Hayes (75’)Exeter turn off slightly as Cowan hall runs down left and delivers a cross along the ground to the back post where Hayes is waiting to tap it in.
WYC - Cowan-Hall (83’)Scowen receives the ball near the penalty spot but the stops dead in his tracks and calmly picks out the running Cowan-Hall who’s next to the post who just slots it in the corner. Bee will be annoyed that he lost the clean sheet so easily but it won’t overshadow the brilliance of Cummins who takes away the match ball.
Our Best Performer: Graham Cummins (I think it’s obvious...)
Dr Peter Riou (Senior Physiotherapist):“Liam Sercombe is out for 4 weeks with a sprained ankle.” (Will be replaced by Aaron Dawson who will go in Central Defensive Midfield position)
“Scot Bennett is out for 9 days with a bruised shoulder.” (Will be replaced by Pat Baldwin)
Skybet League 2 Match:
Morecambe 1 – Exeter City 2
MOR– Fleming (21’)Jamie Devitt collects the ball on the wing after twenty minutes of knocking on the door for Morecambe, he does a couple of step-overs to fool Jamie Reid on the right and then passes it to Andy Parrish on the edge of the box who slots it into Andrew Fleming who beautify shoots on the half turn and it rolls past the stretching Christy Pym. Not the great start which Exeter City are used to.
EXE – Cummins (53’)After a very wobbly start by Exeter, they finally score the equaliser. Morecambe start passing around in the defence but instantly they realise that they are getting pressed intensely. Morecambe defender Laurence Wilson passes back to his goalkeeper, Barry Roche, who can’t scoop it up and is under pressure by the charging Cummins. Roche takes an awful touch which makes the ball roll into empty space allowing Cummins to slide and poke it past the despairing goalkeeper and into the net.
EXE – Nichols (63’)Reid has the ball on the left and sprints into the box where he pulls it back for Cummins who shoots first time but it’s blocked. The rebound falls straight into the path of Nichols who just fires it into the top left corner with his weaker left foot. As Nichols celebrates, Barry Roche lowers his head and miserably collects the ball from the net and kicks it down field. Roche is consoled by his team when the final whistle blows but he leaves the pitch without saying a word.
Our Best Performer: Tom Nichols (Despite not playing the full ninety minutes, he was amazing with his high pressing of the defenders and he forced them to become nervous on the ball and he also scored the winning goal.)
Jordan Moore-Taylor: “Hi boss. I’m glad you’ve got the faith in me to continue to pick me, thanks for that.”
Skybet League 2 Match:
Cambridge Utd 0 – Exeter City 4
EXE – Nichols (20’)Grimes picks the ball up on the half-way line and runs to the left. He uses his pace to get past the Cambridge right back, Richard Tait to deliver a low ball into the box where Nichols shrugs off his marker to slot it through the keeper’s legs and into the goal.
EXE – Cummins (24’)Cummins scores his ninth in nine. Aaron Dawson cuts into the middle, skips past a slide tackle and makes the goalkeeper’s hands sting with a venomous shot making it a corner to Exeter. Wheeler whips the ball in and it goes straight to Cummins in the middle of the area, he rises over everyone else to head it past Chris Dunn.
EXE –Coulson (OG) (41’)Cambridge start to pass around in their defence and Cummins, Nichols and Dawson press any opposing player that touches the ball. It’s passed to centre back, Harry Lennon, who takes a bad touch and Dawson ceases the opportunity and steals the ball off of Lennon and realises that Chris Dunn is charging off his line so Dawson nudges the ball to the right and takes a curling shot which takes a sizeable deflection off of Josh Coulson and into the net.
(Cummins gets injured after a crunching tackle by Issago Diallo in the box. Cummins tries to play on but is substituted on the sixty-seventh minute to not make the injury worse.)
Bee pats Cummins on the back sympathetically as he wobbles off the pitch with the medical staff helping him forward. If the injury is bad, it will definitely have an effect on the team.
EXE – Davies (90’)Wheeler takes a cross from the left. There’s all sorts of movement in the box but Arron Davies meets the ball at the near post to header in nicely. He had a lot to do as the ball was behind him but he managed to twist his neck and get it past the goalkeeper and into the bottom corner. Bee still hasn’t lost in the league so far but the injury of Cummins will surely be a blow.
Our Best Performer: Aaron Dawson (For his work ethic, he also played really well and contributed to the team greatly with his chances and with his passes but credit to David Wheeler who got two assists from his great corners.)
Dr Peter Riou (Senior Physiotherapist):“Graham Cummins has suffered a Sprained Ankle and will be out for about three weeks.” (Will be replaced by Matthew Jay.)
Paid £149,000 on youth scout Dean McGeehan from Northern Ireland. He was sent to Australia for nine months.
Skybet League 2 Match:
Dr Peter Riou (Senior Physiotherapist):
“The medical staff have cleared Liam Sercombe to return from his injury so he can rejoin the first team squad’s training sessions."
Liam Sercombe: “Hey boss. I was wondering if you would play me for our next game as I feel it is an important one for the club.”
Callum Bee: "I’m sorry, but I don’t think you’re up to up to full fitness at the moment and I don’t want to risk you aggravating your injury or picking up a new one but I will be able to play you in the match up against Bury. If you insist, I will bring you on as a substitute if need be.”
Exeter City 2 – Luton Town 2
LUT – Guttridge (35’)Guttrige picks the ball up on the edge of the penalty area and runs at the defenders, he finds some space and runs into it but Moore-Taylor tries to get the ball back but ends up not touching the ball and bringing the man down on the very edge of the box. Moore-Taylor is very lucky to only get a booking as he could have been the last defender but the referee doesn’t think so. Guttridge steps up for the free kick. He looks confident and fixed on the goal. He takes it quickly and he whips the ball over the jumping Ribeiro and more importantly, past the stretching Pym and it dips perfectly to go into the corner.
LUT - Benson (54’)Luton left back, Scott Griffith, finds himself on the right wing. He turns to leave Woodman for dead and then drifts into the middle and passes to Benson who nudges the ball to the left and smashes the ball into the far corner. It looks like it’s going to be Bee’s first league defeat...
EXE - Watkins (60’)Straight after Benson’s goal Bee took off Matthew Jay and Jimmy Keohane, replacing them for Ollie Watkins and Liam Sercombe and four minutes later, Ollie Watkins finds himself slotting the ball in the net after Jordan Moore-Taylor came running up the pitch and delivering a low cross to Watkins. Bee made a good choice subbing him on and it might just change the game entirely if Exeter can push for another goal.
EXE–Wheeler (89’)Tom Nichols picks the ball up on the half-way line and tries to put a through ball into Wheeler who is cut in front of by Fraser Franks who intercepts the ball. He then tries to pass to Scott Griffiths but it has too much on it and it allows Ollie Watkins to be one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Instead of shooting, Watkins cuts it back to Wheeler who makes a great run from the wing and into the box to just slot the ball into the net. Bee jumps up out of his seat and celebrates with the home crowd.
Our Best Performer: Ollie Watkins (For turning the game around pretty much single-handedly. He also scored and set up the winning goal. He also got man of the match and that’s quite impressive for someone who only came on the pitch for thirty-six minutes.)
Liam Sercombe: “It’s disappointing that we didn’t win but I tried my hardest throughout the game. I just wanted to say for bringing me on the pitch before it was too late."
Skybet League 2 MatchBury 0 – Exeter City 2
EXE – Nichols (7’)Jamie Reid passes the ball down the left where Nichols receives the ball. Nichols then bombs down the wing, cuts inside and drifts into the box where he can easily put it past the goalkeeper and into the corner.
EXE – Wheeler (36’)Bury right-back Pablo Mills tries to run down the wing but is tackled by Reid. The ball rolls out to Nichols who feeds it to Watkins who then passes to Grimes who is in the middle and then he picks out the unmarked Wheeler on the right. He drifts into the box and slots it home. It’s a great counter attack by Exeter City and it also finishes the game off.
Our Best Performer: Tom Nichols (Nichols was involved with every attack and when he had the ball, he wasn’t tackled once because he was so hard to mark. He scored a great individual goal and after that you could see that he still wanted more. He also dropped deep to receive the ball and it was effective as his passing accuracy was pretty good. (77%) Another thing was his pressing; he made more successful tackles than the hole of the back line.)

Press Conference:
Q: Another brilliant month for you in the league but it wasn’t perfect due to the loss of you star striker. How much of a blow has that been?
A: It’s been a big blow to the team but the thing I really want to emphasise is that the team has really dealt with the situation well and have managed to produce great performances throughout those games.
Q: It was also a great start to the season for Graham Cummins who scored a hat-trick in the Wycombe game and scored in the other two games he was in before he was injured making it nine in nine. When is Cummins expected to be back and do you think he will continue his good form?
A: I’m glad to say that Graham should be back for the next game against Burton Albion if everything goes according to plan and of course. I don’t think that Graham is going to let his injury faze him at all. He’s a tough lad and has incredible stamina so he can play nearly every match so I expect him to do well when he comes back.
Q: You’ve got Gillingham away in the J. Paint Trophy early next month, how do you think you’ll fare against them?
A: Every opponent creates their own challenges and it is no different for Gillingham, so I will be doing a lot of research after the Albion game and choose what’s best for my team and if my preparation is good enough, we should be able to beat them and advance further into the cup.
Q: You spent a lot of money on Dean McGeehan, your newest youth scout, why did you make that move?
A: I really wanted to set up a scouting network to look for promising youngsters because it is very healthy for a team to be able to produce their own promising youth players and bring them up into the first team. I will be making sure that they are working hard and I hope to find some talented players doing this. You’ve got to pay a lot of top quality youth staff to make sure that they know how to handle the youth squad to blossom and allow a bright future to the club.
Interviewer: Thank you for your time.
Bee: Cheers.
