Hi guys i know this question is unrelated to the thread...but it is about fifa. I have looked high and low for an answer and cant find one anywhere. I love playing online seasons and co op seasons with my buddy and i play with germany. How do i get bastian schweinsteiger into the squad, and gundogan also? They are not even in the reserves, If anyone could help me out with this it would be much appreciated.

bought messi and ronaldo with arsenal, offered messi 750k/week; other than that he doesnt accept, ronaldo was quite easy though

trick is ozil + 37.5m for messi
ronaldo came for 66m + podolski

and you can save budget by making it a 0:100 transfer budget, in my 2nd season summer window,

Now about halfway through my third season with Club Brugge (Belgium) and I'm in the lead by 2 points. Had a somewhat middling performance in the opening round of my first CL competition, but pulled off a shocking 3-1 win against Juventus last night to advance!

The team is firing on all cylinders but I would really like to make the jump to a more prominent league. I've tried applying to a few jobs in England and Germany but keeping getting turned down.

I believe it is because they are still injured IRL and you use the most updated rosters.... Not like there isn't a plethora of quality mids to choose from. Try this lineup:

Neuer

Lahm, Boateng, Hummels, Schmelzer/Badstuber

Muller, Kroos

Gotze, Ozil, Reus

Gomez

4-2-3-1

makes use of Gotze and Reus' speed and passing abilities, plus Kroos and Muller are very good in the middle.

Well we lost the Champions League in the semi finals to United....

Won the Deutscher Pokal and the League however!!!


didn't make much of a splash in the summer, however, January 2016 was quite an improvement.

I straight swapped Oscar for Hazard. Oscar was very good, but he wasn't clicking with my other players quite like I had hoped. He was rated around 56 mil euros, so I swapped back to Chelsea for Hazard. I feel as though I got the better deal in that one.

I also managed to snag a Bayern prospect for 10 mil. Joel Epstein (21 y.o/ 78 overall, RM) looks like he will be a future starting player. I noticed him on the German National Squad submission list (being a national team manager is a free way to scout talent. you can find youngsters and see their overall + stats for free). EDIT: He is way more valuable than I first thought. He can play RM/CAM/CM/ST 4*4*. What a steal. simmed a week forward and he grew by one point overall. This is going to be insane.

On a different note, I got 3 offers for Lamela, all of which I countered. Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Barcelona all offered around 56 mil for him. It suggested I counter with up to 97.4 million. I did, Real Madrid was the only one to accept, but negotiations fell through. Glad he didn't leave in all honesty. The money was too good to reject, but Lamela is a crucial part of my team.

hey guys, my first post here. I just wanna know what you guys think about what just happened with my career mode.

I am the manager at Southend United from the league 2. In my first three seasons, I won back to back promotions into the premier league winning two league titles and an fa cup. However in my fourth season in the premier league there were speculations o my best player (a left winger) feeling homesick and wanting to leave the club. however he said he would be faithful to the club and play out till the end of his contract (another 2 years I think). so I finished in the top four that season and won the Europa League. He was my best player from the very beginning.
So in the start of my fifth season I had high hopes knowing I would play in the Champions League thinking until i he says to me he can't be at the club anymore because he misses his family and friends. he formally asked to leave and the board ordered me to sell him.
Now here is the problem, he is from Brazil and - according the the guy that helps me with the transfers - he was worth between £35-£70 million. i obviously didnt want to sell him but if a good offer from a Brazilian team came about, I would consider it. I was only getting offers from teams like Chelsea, Man United, and still no offers from a Brazilian team. next thing I know, I get a message saying that the club sold him to Tottenham Hotspurs for £35 million.
I WAS SO PISSED OFF THAT I STOPPED PLAYING MY CAREER MODE!!! NOT ONLY DID THEY SELL HIM FOR MUCH LESS THAN WE COULD HAVE POTENTIALLY GOT, BUT HE WAS SOLD TO AN ENGLISH CLUB WHEN HE WANTED TO LEAVE BECAUSE HE WAS HOMESICK!!! WE WERE ABOUT TO PLAY IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AND SPURS DIDNT EVEN FINISH IN THE TOP FOUR!!!!
I see that as a terrible glitch by EA and I'm not happy.

I'm pretty shocked. Looks like I'm buying a new team lol. Just kidding. I need to definitely up my keeper. Fahrmann has performed extremely well. And I have been quite happy with him. I'm not sure who I will get to replace him. I have been contemplating bringing Neuer back to Schalke, although he is aging and I'd prefer a young keeper.

I also am thinking of buying a good LB and loaning Willems out. or making him a sub and loaning one of my bench players out.

Lamela had me scared for a while, admitting the weather was making him sad. He was nearing a transfer, then out of the blue he wanted to stay. So that is great news!!!! I might sell Costa (not improving in terms of overall or skills anymore) and buy Balotelli (always been a fan). I think Papadopoulos will be on his way out to make room for a better defender. Thinking Hummels or Boateng.

This was my initial experience too. The AI can be brutal even on Pro but with a LOT of playing you can learn to pick the cpu apart.

I'm just now getting to the point where I can dominate most equal (or slightly better) teams on Pro, and I'm glad I kept at it.

SCHALKE 04 UPDATE!!!

I definitely now have a squad worthy of the 100 mil I received in transfer funds.

I brought in Balotelli (cash + Costa), Courtois, Sergio Ramos, and I will plan on bringing in one more player for defense. Probably one who can play CB and RB/LB.

I still have about 50 mil left in transfer funds. I will probably put a good amount of it away for January, when I will update my team as needed.

I also have a youth player from Spain that I found. Frederico Campeny. Came in as a 72 overall CAM, rated 9 mil out of the gate. I definitely plan on utilizing him. At 17, He will be the perfect age to take over my creative midfield position from Draxler as he starts to age. I reckon they will be sharing time (maybe even playing together) in 3-4 seasons.

btw, what strategy do people use for transfers?

I tend to find a player who is significantly younger than my current player in the position I need to strengthen. I try to sign him for cheap as well. Almost all of my deals will involve player + cash. That way I can save some cash and trim deadwood/wages at the same time.

Another question I want to see some answers to....

Do you ever buy a player either

a) because he is linked to a rival team and you don't want your rival to gain strength

b) directly from your rival so as to weaken them

I'm curious as I've known myself to do that quite often. In my Schalke career, I bought a 78 rated 21 y.o midfielder from Bayern. Although he doesn't have a starting spot in my team immediately, I mainly bought him as I could see he would grow quite a bit and wanted to get him off Bayern before his value skyrocketed. I also acquired him for the future for my own team. I would kick myself if I saw him one day tearing it up for Bayern when I had a chance to sign him.

So has anyone else ever done this? And what player did you take from what team?

Notes: I play with professional and i won the BBVA league title last year. It was a really thrilling end of the season when i was at the 2nd place after Barcelona and there was only one game to play. Of course, as you may guess the last game was against Barcelona! Eventually i went to play that game. I had to play with Adrien up front , because Diego Costa was injured then. Maybe bit surprisingly Adrien scored hat-trick (with two of the goals in the last 20mins) and i won the game 4-2. That way i came up as the winner of the BBVA! During last season i too received international management offer from Chile. In fact i was about to turn the offer down but then i remembered that there was the world cup coming up and i decided to sing the offer. I played only one game off the three games in the group stage and i came to the 2nd place after Italy to continue for the playoffs. Then, nightmare. I don't know why but i find it very hard to play against France when ever i do play against them. Of course on the best 16 my game was France-Chile. I lost the game 4-1 !!!!! Finally Argentina won the world cup and i could start the second season. Chile wanted to continue the contract with me but i didn't sign it and so for a while now, i've been a free agent in international stages. At the moment in the BBVA league i'm in the first place, while Real Madrid is 2nd behind me with two points, tho they have played one game more than what i have. You might wonder where Barcelona is, i can tell you that they are only 5th in the league after roughly 20 games have been played!!!!

So what do you think about my career. Any suggestions? What internatinal team should i go when i start to receive those offers? I was thinking of Belgium. It's sucha shame Crotia is not on the game anymore

Looking for some help, I have mainly played in the BPL and as other top teams in Europe. But I am trying to do a manager where I can take a solid team from an average league and make them European Champion. I have 2 teams in mind, FC Porto and FC Shakhtar. I want to base this on 3 aspects, kits, money, and existing squad. I like both sets of kits and the budgets are similar (Porto 26.5M Shakhtar 20M) and I also really like both squads. Obviously Porto is probably better all around but, Shakhtar has literally 5 or 6 CAMs under 22 yo that are 74 or better. So while Shakhtar may not be as good overall, they have valuable pieces to sell off for more overall cash. Plus another FC Shakhtar question would be what league do I place them in? I think it would be kind of cool to replicate what Jose Mourinho did at Benfica and do it w/ their biggest competitor in Portugal. Any feedback is appreciated.
