    Borussia Dortmund

    Friendly BVB 4 - 1 Manchester United
    Valencia(MUTD) 28'
    Reus(BVB) 44'

    Alaba(BVB) 57'
    Aubameyang(BVB) 85'

    BVB 3 - 1 Bayer Leverkusen
    Aubameyang(BVB) 62'
    Aubameyang(BVB) 68'
    Kießling(B04) 76'
    Reus(BVB) 87'

    BVB 5 - 3 SC Freiburg
    Reus(BVB) 8'
    Aubameyang(BVB) 31'
    Aubameyang(BVB) 45'
    Mehmedi(SCF) 49'
    Petersen(SCF) 68'
    Hummels(BVB) 72'
    Poulsen(BVB) 90'
    Mehmedi(SCF) 90'

    FC Augsburg 2 - 4 BVB
    Reus(BVB) 6'
    Aubameyang(BVB) 13'
    Aubameyang(BVB) 42'
    Bobadilla(FCA) 45'
    Baier(FCA) 52'
    Reus(BVB) 59'

Those were the games played this month, we had some pretty impressive form as far as scoring goes, I doubt we can keep that up, but we need to do better defensively.

    Transfers In:
Kevin Volland - Swap for Nuri Sahin

Erik Lamela - Swap for Mkhitaryan

    Samed Yesil - €1,000,000

    Eden Hazard - €75,000,000 + Subotic

    Transfers Out:
    Sahin - Swap for Volland
    Mkhitaryan - Swap for Lamela
    Blaszcykowski - €25,000,000
    Gundogan - €35,000,000
    Kampl - Season Loan

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was a very exciting month, including a mega-signing in Eden Hazard. I originally was going for Gotze, but as I feared, he declined his contract based on prior history with the club. I can say pretty soundly that I ended up getting a better player, even though it was for more money. And with that, I actually hand it over to Cruzerr.

Regens & Cruzerr- Just wondering. Seen as I have more time than I expected to have, is it possible for me to join in as Dortmund and Schalke's other rival, Borussia Monchengladbach? We could keep with the rules set out, I'll just do transfers last. The transfer priority could be based on league position/points. I'd love to join in. Also, I'd have a bit of handicap considering the team compared to Schalke and Dortmund.

No doubt, I wouldn't have any problem with you joining, and I don't think Cruzerr will either. Worst comes to worst, with the teams being a little uneven, we could try to find a more even 3 way rivalry and possibly restart with that, because I'd love to have you in this. Restarting would be up to Cruzerr though. If not, you could be Borussia Monchengladbach.

Nah, I'd like the idea of being a bit behind in terms of team stature. Gives me more of an incentive to win, you know? Also, what difficulty or should we all just play on whatever?

Alright, I'm on World Class, might bump it up soon, not sure what Cruzerr is on, but I don't think it matters that much, just play on what you want. Once Cruzerr posts his updates, you are good to go to start making transfers and such. Just remember, you cannot sell players to either Schalke or Dortmund. You also cannot buy players that we currently have, but if we sell them in our careers, you can buy them. So I sold Gundogan, so if you wanted him/had the funds, you could go get him. But players that I bought such as Hazard, Odegaard, Yesil, etc. you cannot buy until they are sold.

                        Inter Milan
                        Season 1
                        September 2014

                        Objectives:
                        Qualify for the Champions League
Reach the Semi Final of the Europa League
Reach the Semi Final of the Domestic Cup

                        League Match
                        Inter 1 - 0 Sassuolo
                        Shaqiri 63’

                        MOTM Handanovic

Sassuolo dominated the match hitting the post twice in the first 10 minutes and another 3 or 4 times throughout the match. Handanovic had a brilliant game between the sticks for us though and we were able to keep the game scoreless until halftime. At halftime we had zero shots to their 5. The second half was similar, but we were able to hit them on the counter and when we drew a freekick 20 yards from goal in the 63’ minute it was Shaqiri that would step up to take it. From the right side of the box Shaqiri hit a curling effort that went around the wall and in, just out of the keeper's reach. the rest of the game was quite boring as every time we got the ball we would just clear it and when they got it back they would lob it into our box where Vidic was ready to head it away.

                        Europa League
                        Inter 1 - 1 Sport Lokeren
                        Podolski 27’
                        Leye 85’

                        MOTM Podolski

A game that I expected to be easy was not so easy. We dominated the game for the most part but were unable to beat the keeper. Until Palacio hit a driven cross to Podolski for an easy tap in and then it was back to the unbeatable keeper. We broke down the defence well but were unable to find the back of the net and as we got more and more frustrated we started pressing higher and higher. We would regret this as Leye broke forward while Vidic was the last man and was blown by way too easily. In the 1 v 1 with Leye, Handanovic got a hand to the ball but it was not enough to keep it out of the net and we would tie the game.

                        League Match
                        Palermo 0 - 1 Inter
                        Shaqiri 65’

                        MOTM Guarin

A game we should win comfortably but we made it harder than it should have been. Our passing out of the back was much too sloppy and we were lucky Guarin was having such a brilliant game and was able to win the ball in the midfield almost every time. Shaqiri stole the ball away from the Palermo defender in their box and had a simple finish to beat the keep. Palermo stepped up their game after and we were under heavy pressure for the rest of the game. Handanovic pulled off an unbelievable save to keep us in the lead in the 85’ minute, but showed how angry he was when he was yelling at Jesus for being beaten so easily. We closed out the game to get the three points though which is the most important thing.

Handanovic’s unbelievable save against Palermo to keep us in the lead.

                        League Match
                        Inter 1 - 0 Atalanta
                        Podolski 84’

                        MOTM Podolski

A game between two of the three teams that were undefeated in the league thus far and it proved to be a good game. Both teams were hard to break down and chances were few and far between. Most of the game was played right in the middle and there was only 2 shots in the first half. In the second half things opened up and we created a few chances as did they. But it was Asamoah who was the one that broke Atalanta when he dribbled 3 players and the squared the ball across the goal to Podolski, who was starting for the tired Palacio, and he had an easy tap in that he was never going to miss. We then defended well to see the game out and remain undefeated.

                        League Match
                        Inter 2 - 2 Cagliari
                        Palacio 13’
                        Guarin 44’
                        Ekdal 87’ 90’

                        MOTM Ekdal

We dominated this game and threw it away basically. They had three shots all in the last 5 minutes it’s like we went to sleep. Our goals were both nice, Palacio with the first beat two people and slotted it home while Guarin’s was a screamer from 30 yards out to the upper 90. For Ekdal’s first goal he was standing 20 yards behind our defensive line because Guarin was laying on the ground injured in our box and they just kicked it up to him and he finished the 1 v 1. His second was a poorly defended cross that he got to first and it was a well placed finish. Cagliari was in last place before this game while we were in first, we should never have even given them a chance to tie.

                        League Table:
                        1) Inter -- 13
                        2) Sampdoria -- 12
                        3) Atalanta -- 10
                        4) Roma -- 10
                        5) Udinese -- 10
                        ----------------------------------
                        18) Sassuolo -- 3
                        19) Chievo Verona -- 3
                        20) Cagliari -- 1

                        Europa League Group C:
                        1) Inter -- 1
                        2) Trabzonspor -- 1
                        3) Sport. Lokeren -- 1
                        4) FC Rostov -- 1

                        My Thoughts on this month:

                        About the Games:
We didn’t have a great month, yes we are still at the top of the table but some of the games were very poor. We played 3 of our 4 league games against teams in the bottom five and barely scraped by. The game in the Europa League was the first really surprising one because I expected an easy match and that certainly brought it to us and were caught off guard. The only good game was the Atalanta game and even that was not worth of a win. We started off well against Cagliari, but sadly ended up throwing it away in the dying minutes. I was absolutely livid after that game in particular and cannot believe they managed to get their first point of the season from us at the San Siro.

                        About the Squad:
Handanovic has been instrumental in us picking up the points that we have. The defence has been letting the opponents through to much because of the lack of pace so I either need to switch formation or need to be looking to sign a new center back come January. Podolski has been good for us in the few appearances he has made, mostly off the bench. He scored a few crucial goals and may become one of our starting strikers in the near future if he keeps it up. Meanwhile Santon has lost his starting position at left wing to the Brazilian Dodo. I gave Dodo a start Sport Lokeren and I kept him in the team after he had a fantastic match.

                        Next Month:
                        FC Rostov (A) Europa League
                        Fiorentina (A) League Match
                        Trabzonspor (H) Europa League
                        Cesena (A) League Match
                        Sampdoria (H) League Match

I’m hoping to get at least 5 points in the league and win both Europa League Fixtures.

jamiec 3rd in the league with Brentford, and after a relatively high scoring 3-2 win over Birmingham, you really clamped down getting 4 clean sheets out of 5 matches. Pritchard had a good month with the brace against Watford and the winner against Bournemouth. He sounded dangerous against Blackburn too, despite the no goals in that game.

Blue Eagle Great to see an Inter CM as they are my favorite Italian side. The presentation you give is top notch as well. Nice opening win over Torino with Palacio getting the brace and Asamoah already contributing a goal. I look forward to how you rework this squad as they were truly a great side when Mourinho was there, winning the treble.

2nd update - Top of the league, nice. Tough result in the Europa League against Sport Lokeren however. Still, with that group you should be fine. I'll be interested in your game against FC Rostov as I'm a follower of the Russian League. Their side is pretty average, but they qualified for the EL by winning the Russian Cup and Dzyuba is a good striker that is moving to Zenit IRL.

Chico Good luck in the Super Cup against Bayern, that will certainly be a challenge. I think you can handle SK Rapid Wien fairly easily to get into the Champions League. Guillermo is in good form, and it looks like you brought in some quality players. 14 million for Campana is a big signing for a club like Osasuna.

Cruzerr Thanks for the comments. Yes, CSKA and Zenit will be tough to overcome as they have much better squads. I haven't faced CSKA yet, but Zenit has already beaten me in the Russian Cup and the league, so they seem to have my number. Regardless, Terek is in really good form right now. Really happy with how Kanu has stepped up since the injury to Ivanov.

Simppu Tough to see you go out in the Champions League Quarterfinal to Bilbao. Hamsik at Dortmund is scary too. You bounced back in the league though and are still alive in the DFB Pokal. Benaglio has made an impression since coming to Berlin. I knew he would be good for you.

2nd update - Domestic double! Well done. The next step is the treble, we'll see if you can do it. Kalou didn't perform nearly as well as last year when he had 43 goals, but he still won the scoring race by a comfortable margin with 25.

10cabee 4th in the league, in the fight for promotion, very solid. M'Madi and Tshibumbu seem like great players for you, and GFC Ajaccio can certainly pour on the goals at times. Marseille in the cup will be a tough one (Marseille is my favorite French club, but I will still be pulling for GFC).

Keano 5th in the league with Forest is not bad, and your team seemed to improve as the month went along after a mixed start. Paterson, Dicko, and Assombalonga look like a good core for your club moving forward as you fight for promotion. Good luck on hitting 13 of 15 points next month. You should take the home games, and Reading looks to be the only real challenge on the road.

Cruzerr Yep, after the heights of the first month, that definitely was more of a Burnley month. It's early, but 3rd despite some setbacks is really good. Tough luck in the Capital One Cup though with that loss to Manchester City 4-1. Bony had quite a game, and like you said, kind of weird that Pellegrini played his first team.

2nd update - Oh no. Burnley are slipping only managing the one point against Leicester City. Luckily, sides like Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool are really struggling, so you've maintained a good position in 7th place.

Regens Glad to see you going with Dortmund. That club has a lot of potential and have been a very good side in the Klopp era. Alaba is a good player and it's nice to see you getting players from Bayern (rather than the other way around IRL).

2nd update - Hazard for 75 million, woo! What a signing. Lamela too. Very nice. I think that's the biggest signing I've ever seen following CM's.

Also wanted to pass along a belated congratulations to sportsfreak on being cancer free. I had a really close family friend die of liver cancer on Sunday. He was only diagnosed in March, but it had progressed so quick that he only had about 6 weeks to live. I've been thinking about him everyday and the good times we had together. It's a terrible disease.

History: Novara Calcio is an Italian football club based out of Novara, Piedmont, a city located in the northwestern mountains of Italy. The club was founded in 1908 and plays at the Stadio Silvio Piola which has a capacity of 17,875. Novara has mostly played in the lower divisions of Italian football, but they have had some spells in Serie A. Novara's best ever Serie A finish was 8th in 1952. The club was relegated back to Serie B in 1956 and would later fall all the way to Serie C2. The 2011-12 season would see Novara back in Serie A for the first time in 55 years. However, the club finished in 19th place and were immediately relegated back to Serie B. Last season, in 2012-13, Novara finished in 5th place in Serie B but were eliminated in the promotion play-offs by Empoli. The club hopes a strong Serie B campaign in 2013-14 will earn them a spot back in Serie A.

Domestic Players (Italian Rule): To comply with Federcalcio regulations regarding domestic players, Novara must have 4 Italian players on the pitch at all times.

Transfer Targets: Novara's primary goal will be acquiring Italian talent from bigger Serie A clubs via purchase or loan and developing players through the youth system. For players from abroad, Novara will look on the continents of Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia for any potential transfers.
