I started my Leicester career in amazing form. I won all of my last games of the season and secured a place in the play-offs. But it wasn't to be. We got defeated by Nottingham in the 2nd leg. I haven't had the best time there as of late, so I am ok with building up this team over the next year to really challenge the top flight.

I feel that I have started this season well. Although going out in the first round of the cup was bad, we have won 3 out of 3 games in the league and have had 2 clean sheets, already defending better than at Swansea. I am looking forward to a good two months and will hope to report some good victories and many clean sheets.

Transfers

In light of my achievements in Serie B and to recognize my status as one of the most promising young managers in Italian football, the board decided to give me a whopping budget of €2.5 million with €10,000 on the wage bill. I was so stunned by their generosity that I simply couldn't decided where to start my transfer activities, so I began by assessing the immediate squad.

At the end of last season, we lost a bunch of key players who were with us on loan. Gianluca Sansone and Karim Laribi are the ones we'll miss most for their ability to influence games, but Muhamed Bešić is also going to be a big loss because we probably won't be able to afford him or his wages. A few others also departed once their contracts expired, but they were surplus.

Our new goalkeeper Fehmi Mert Günok linked up with us on July 1 after his contract at Fenerbahçe expired. We also signed Maxwell Cornet from Lyon for €1.5 million after a successful loan. Rolando Bianchi and Martí Riverola also joined up with us after loan spells elsewhere. And with Nicolò Cherubin still on loan at Atalanta, I had a 20-man squad to start my building with.

Right away, it became apparent that I could pick up a pretty good fee for Angelo Da Costa. He was the best goalkeeper in Serie B last season, making him one of the most in-demand players in our squad. I set a price tag of €4.2 million for him, and two clubs decided to meet the valuation without any fuss. West Ham and Bordeaux fought it out, but the French side won.

I also managed to move Daniele Cacia on for €2.1 million to Middlesbrough, who had just been promoted to the Premier League over in England. He was already declining, so I was pretty happy to him off the wage bill and pick up a few million euros at the same time. And now that I was left with just 18 players, I had to make some signings before I could negotiate any further.

We picked up the young Belgian goalkeeeper Koen Casteels from Wolfsburg on a season loan. He's probably not going to play unless Günok gets injured or suspended, but it's always good to have a backup who isn't too much of a drop in quality. We also brought in Alessio Romagnoli from Roma, initially on loan but with an option to buy at the end of the season for €2.5 million.

I was back up to 20 in the squad, so I let Uros Radakovic make his desired loan move to Livorno. I still think he can be a good backup, but we'll see if his development keeps up with our progress as a club. Also making his move was Rolando Bianchi, who joined Chievo Verona for €1.3 million. That's not a bad fee for a declining forward who broke his leg earlier this year at age 32.

I decided I wanted to bring in a young striker with room to develop, but one with agility and dribbling so that he could dovetail with the attacking three behind him. Samed Yesil came up on the radar as one to watch, so I figured I would ask Liverpool how much they wanted for him. Imagine the shock on my face when they asked for €350,000. Done! I paid up and brought him in.

José Crespo is a player I had overlooked, but I wasn't convinced he could be the starting LB, so I moved for Angeliño from Manchester City. I asked for a loan with the option to buy for €1 million, which is a bit less than they wanted when I asked how much he'd cost to sign outright. Eventually I was given the green light to wrap the deal, and we got our man at a good price.

This is when I realized there was no backup for Douglas in case of injury or suspension. He contributed 7 assists with his pace and athleticism. I knew we needed someone with that kind of physical presence. Up for loan was a young French kid at PSG named Jordan Ikoko. I wanted this signing to be a permanent one, so I was more than happy to pay the €700,000 PSG asked.

I decided to add three more players to finish my team. The first was Chile and Barcelona striker Ángelo Henríquez on loan for €50,000 a week. I also got Maxence Chapuis, a young but promising CB from Saint-Etienne who is tagged with great potential after completing a move for just €250,000! And the last was Leonardo Suárez, a CAM bought from Villarreal for €500,000.

Archimede Morleo didn't get any takers in this transfer window, so he'll be a squad player until at least January. All the new contracts and raises I've handed out have drained me to the point that just getting his paper value and wages back will make a difference to how much I have. But unless the board back me or I sell someone, there won't be any business in January.

Marios Oikonomou and Danilo Cataldi will hopefully keep developing into the world-class players I know they can be. Franco Zuculini needs to step up as our main defensive midfielder, and Federico Casarini will have a greater role after impressing me. Federico Bernardeschi is still our most gifted man, and Ibrahima Mbaye takes his promising talent from LB to attacking midfield.

Domenico Maietta is still our captain, so Romagnoli will need to wait for his chance to claim a place in the first team. Sadly, Marcel Büchel and Rubén Bentancourt don't look to have anything beyond squad roles. The real story is for Matteo Mancosu, who will play in Serie A for the first time at the age of 30. I'm sure he will score at least 15-18 goals if he stays fit all season.

Preseason

The first match was away in London against Queens Park Rangers. It wasn't easy, but we won 2-0 with Bernardeschi scoring twice. Our second match was against Saint-Etienne, who had signed Olivier Giroud. He scored early, but we came back. Bernardeschi scored a lovely volley from outside of the box. The second half was really dull with no shots, and it ended at 1-1.

August
The first of our two competitive games in August was a 2-0 home win over Livorno in the TIM Cup. Oikonomou scored a crashing head just before the first half ended, and Yesil got on the end of Mancosu's pass to grab a goal on debut. We then fought for a 1-0 at home against Atalanta to start the league season on the right note. Yesil scored for us late in the second half.

September

The month started with a 1-0 loss at Sampdoria where Samuel Eto'o got on the end of a corner kick to score the only goal. We played well despite the pressure, and nobody fell below a 6.5 rating. We then beat Parma 2-0 with a goal from Henríquez followed by a Pedro Mendes own goal. Angeliño tore them apart like Douglas did all last season; we finally have a threat at LB.

The next game was a 3-3 thriller at Verona. We took an early lead through Cataldi, and Mancosu made it 2-0 before halftime. He received a pass in the box, turned on the spot and fired in. Artur Ioniță made it 2-1 after halftime before Boško Janković equalised in five minutes. Mancosu scored again but Nenê equalised. We took the game easy at 2-0 and paid for our arrogance.

We finished the month with a very exciting 1-1 at home against Torino, one of the best teams in the division. Fabio Quagliarella scored a very beautiful goal in the second half, but right when it looked like Torino might leave with all three points, Casarini fired in from a tight angle after making a smart run to save us from losing. We finished with Cataldi as our player of the month.

October

I was determined to put a bad month to bed, but it had to wait until after we lost 2-0 at Juventus. Claudio Marchisio and Fernando Llorente scored, and the second is a really strong candidate for goal of the season. Llorente got the ball about 30 yards out and put in a dipping shot that was never going to be kept out. Gigi Buffon was a hero in goal with 11 saves this day!

We then hosted Inter in a 2-2 draw, Mbaye scoring against his old team for his first goal since I took over. Mauro Icardi equalised just before halftime and Rodrigo Palacio put them 2-1 up with 30 minutes left, but we got a late penalty when Angeliño was pushed over in the box. Mancosu put it away for his third goal of the season, but I was disappointed that we didn't win.

Our next game was a 3-2 win at home over Fiorentina. Mancosu scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season to put us 2-0 up at halftime. Giuseppe Rossi equalized early in the second half, Mbaye scored a deflected goal to make it 3-1, and Mario Gomez gave us a fright by scoring a second for the visitors with just minutes to go. We held on for a big win and three points!

We travelled to Chievo and won 3-0. Cataldi scored once in the first half and again in the second, and Zuculini timed his run perfectly to add a third very late in the game. Unfortunately we lost Mbaye to suspension after he received a second booking about 80 minutes in, but we have enough depth that this wasn't an issue. It was a comprehensive win that I was proud of.

The next game was against Milan at home. Henríquez was in the right place at the right time to score our first just 23 minutes into the game, and our young gem Suárez made it 2-0 late into the second half. Milan were strong in building up but didn't have the forwards to make a difference once play reached their final third. We weren't really troubled all game, which is huge!

The final match of the month was away to Cagliari. Lorenzo Crisetig hit a volley in the 12th minute that turned out to be the only game of this 1-0 loss. Alessio Cragno was fantastic for them in goal to be named man of the match. We finish the month in sixth place with 18 points, behind Cagliari on goal differential. Günok was named player of the month by club and league.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that Bernardeschi has been out since early September with a broken ankle. He should be back by Christmas.

I was talking to a friend about homegrown quotas and decided to make it part of my Bologna save. Italian football has a maximum squad of 25 with not more than 17 foreign-trained players. At least four of the 25 must be trained at the club and another four must be trained at any Italian club. To be trained means you had to have been at the club for at least three years before you turn 21. I'm not a fan of the youth academy in FIFA 15, so I'm going to tweak this and go with at least eight Italian-trained players. I'll still cap the total squad size at 25 and the number of foreign-trained players at 17, so I suppose that inevitably means at least a few first-choice players of Italian nationality and/or heritage.

What do you guys think? How many players from the country your club is in do you want to see in the first team and in the squad? I know that fans of Manchester United generally like to see a good number of British players in their team, and ChicoBass of course loves his Guadalajara who use nothing but Mexican players. I personally don't care about how many English players are in Chelsea's squad because I'm not English. I just want the best men for the job regardless of nationality, and that includes who we choose as our captain. But at the same time I respect the club's desire to make some sort of contribution to the England national team, so I don't mind them pursuing a British-oriented transfer policy as long as the players they buy are good.

I like the idea, atm my squad with Shrewsbury has 17 English players. 4 more English players are out on loan so that totals it at 21 Englishmen. In addition there are 3 Irishmen and 1 Welshman in the squad. Making up the rest of the 26 man squad at my disposal (not including the 4 out on loan) are an Aussie, Latvian, Frenchman, Swiss and an African, from Montserrat.

Overall this has been a successful month. We have won 3 out of 5 games and our top of the league. Also, Kramaric has won player of the month, managing to score 6 goals in 5 games in September. A surprising player sp far has been Moore (CB), who has managed to achieve 4 assists so far this season. He was accidentally placed on corners, but has whipped in 4 chances for the team. I wont complain haha. I hope that this form can continue until the end of the next month.

This month has not gone according to plan. The loss against Middlesbrough was not ideal, as they are now qute a few points clear at the top of the league. We only lost 1 game this month but the 2 draws cost us top spot. But we do have zivkovic back and scoring, as well as Kramaric who has 9 for the season so far (joint top goalscorer). We are not facing any top teams really in November, so I am hoping to get some points back over the next month and get ito that sop spot again. We are still without Fuchs and only have two right backs, who arfe both having to play, but we haven't had any issues with fatigue as of yet. which is a blessing.

All in all, being third after 3 months is not too bad and I am so far more successful than I ever was with Swansea, so its going well.

The Manager’s Perspective:

The Chelsea Game: It was the first time that we’ve actually beaten Chelsea! They had more possession but we had more shots on target. We made the majority of the fouls, resulting in us getting three yellow cards due to their agile players like Hazard and Oscar who wriggled through our defence more than just a few times.

Around the hour mark, I decided to take off Sinclair, Saiz Alonso and Bauer to bring on Dembèlè, Reece Brown and Tim Payne respectively. Initially, there was a little shift in momentum but I didn’t expect Cedrick to bomb down the wing, cut in on his stronger left foot and poke the ball past Cech and into the back of the net from off the crossbar. Chelsea stood off us a little and provided space which they then exploited on the counter attack. Left-back, Tamás and right-back, Byram dealt with these well though and with three minutes left of regulation time, Dembèlè slotted the ball with great skill to Reece Brown who chanced a shot from a tight angle. Cech saved it with his elbow but Brown managed to vault the keeper to poke the ball into the back of the net. In the last minute, Liam Sercombe managed to sprint into the tiniest gap in the defence and to the by-line where he cut onto his right foot before prodding the ball across the goalmouth and to Dembèlè who scuffed his shot into the corner which Cech was sprinting away from and he was helpless as it crossed the goal line.

Cedrick got man of the match but it takes nothing away from Dembèlè who also played at his best.

Transfer Market: Aaron Dean has handed in a transfer request but I might only consider a loan spell for him depending on if we need the money or just don’t want to let him go just yet. Speaking of loans, Inters Konate and Co will return soon and I will also be looking at their prospects at first team football for the start of next season but it surely won’t be much due to our transfer market activity.

Out/In form Players and Newest Signings: Cedrick Mabwati and Moussa Dembèlè have been our standout players at first glance but 19-year-old Lucas Magallán has made a huge impression alongside Ryan Inniss and pretty much single-handedly kept out Liverpool in the Europa League games. Our record signing, Sam Byram has also provided some needed quality to the team both defensively and offensively. He’s managed to pull out some top class tackles to deny one-on-one opportunities and I hope he can continue to perform as undoubtedly one of our most treasured players. Jake Sinclair has had the spotlight taken off him due to Dembèlè's form but I'm sure he'll bounce back before the end of the season.

League and Cup Performances: Our results have been outstanding recently. At first glance, you would expect us to lose all of our games this month, but no! We fought for our place into the Semi-Finals of the Europa League and to gain an extra game ahead of Everton which only a point would allow us to move up the league table. This season has been eventful for us but it will all go to waste if we don’t perform in our last month.

•34 year old Robinson accurately picked out Mangan in the box and his header was inch perfect to open the scoring.
•Akpa Akpro was then brought down by Brown allowing Robinson to slot away the penalty.
•Unfortunately Mangan went off injured but it gave Gornell the chance to face his old club.

•If Rochdale's, Andrew's in particular, finishing had been up to scratch then the result could have been a lot different.
•We were dominated in the first half and got a break with a controversial penalty. Gornell stepped up and scored, this time.
•We got a foothold and Liam Lawrence whipped in a free kick and Gornell got a header on target and then tapped the rebound in for 2-0.
•A defensive mixup then ended with James Collins sticking the ball into Rochdale's net.
•Liam Lawrence was immense, finishing with a 9.5 rating and picking up 2 assists.

•Collins put us in front after a one two with Gornell followed by a tidy finish.
•Two consecutive volleys for Wimbledon however gave the home side the lead.
•Collins would tie things up on 74 minutes, racing clear before having his shot saved only to tap in the rebound.
•Clark grabbed the winner when Demetriou's cross went too deep and the right winger cut inside Fuller before finishing like a striker.

•Woods then showcased his mix of balance, dribbling and ball control to score his second and our third.
•Boucaud made it 3-2 after a scramble inside our own box setting up a tense finish.
•The fine margins were displayed when Dagenham hit the post and Woods broke away on the counter attack. His abilities were shown again as he managed to get to the Daggers' box and win a penalty off Saah which Robinson converted.

Conor Compton Accepts Contract With Seniors

Exeter City's academy has produced some promising young players to English football with striker Aaron Davis being the most influential and most promising of the students who have accepted a contract with the senior team through Exeter's youth academy. Davis hasn't necessarily set the world alight with four goals and five assists in nineteen games but the majority have been from the bench. The seventeen-year-old celebrated his birthday last week by posting on his Twitter feed of a birthday cake with 'Davis' and '45' on the back of an Exeter F.C shirt captioned: "Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. I can't believe it's been a year since joining the club! #gettingold". The striker is recovering from a broken ankle acquired during training and won't be expected to appear again this season.

Englishman Conor Compton, accepted a contract with the senior team earlier today and is expected to make his senior debut against Norwich on Sunday. Not too much is known about the sixteen-year-old but he is looking highly promising and he's been classed as a winger on the official website which would mean some competition for the teenager.

Jamieson threaded the ball up the middle as Hahn ran in from the left and slotted the ball across to the bottom right corner. Pack fired a shot from the left side of the box and the keeper pushed it to the right where Jamieson was waiting for the volley back into the net. Maguire deflected the ball away but Luis Leal was the first to the ball and he struck it into the right side of the goal. Bannigan pushed the ball right before sending the ball across through the defender's legs and to Jamieson on the back post for a tap in.

Johnson grabbed on to McLaughlin's shirt and pulled him down setting up a penalty for Pack to finish to the right side of the keeper. The ball was played ahead of the defense where Pack was able to get to it first and go through on goal before cutting it back and laying it off for Russell on the back post to finish through the keeper's legs.

McGeady sent a cross in from the right wing and Lukaku was able to beat the defense to the ball and head it back inside the left post for an early lead. Mirallas played a ball past the defense for Naismith to run on to and strike first time past the keeper on the near post. Murphy found Adams running in on the left side of the goal and he slotted the ball past the keeper on the near post to cut the lead just before half. Pereira attacked to the right side of the goal as Veldwijk drew the defense away and he calmly finished it into the bottom right corner for the equalizer. Holla's shot was pushed to the right by the keeper and Russell was there first to send a quick cross in that Veldwijk was there to tap in on the back post.

Çiftçi played the ball way ahead on the counter and Pereira ran it down to go through on goal where his shot was tipped by the keeper but still settled in the back of the net. White found Cook to the right side of the goal and he made a quick turn and curled a shot past the keeper inside the far post. Çiftçi got the ball on the right side of the box and attacked the end line before sending the ball across the goal for Pereira to tap in on the back post.

Pereira lined up a free kick from 29 yards out of the center of the goal and he curled it over the right side of the wall and into the bottom right corner. Holla stood over a free kick spotted just slightly left of the last one and his shot clipped the wall but continued on target to hit off the crossbar and in. Holla sprinted down the right side of the box and sent a low cross in that squeezed through the crowd and found Murphy running in on the back side for a sliding finish past the keeper.

Leicester finished the match with an advantage in the possession column, but it was Portsmouth who saw the majority of the chances putting 4 shots on goal to Leicester's 1. In the end, neither keeper was going to let anything through and both teams finished with nothing to show on the board.

Manager Comments

League Play - We are still unbeaten in league play, with only draws against Leicester and Peterborough being the only points lost. Our high level of play is paying off though. We are 5 points ahead of Fulham for the top of the table, and that is a position that we are hoping to hold on to for the rest of the season.

Capital One Cup - It looked like we were on our way out of the cup against Everton, and then Adams and Pereira struck to give us a chance to extend our lives. Veldwijk capped off the comeback in extra time and it is us moving on instead of Everton. The round of 16 will put us against the Premier League giants, Chelsea. This won't be an easy match up, but we will be sure to be prepared.

Andreas Pereira - Pereira is really making himself a key part of the squad ever since being handed the #10 shirt. He scored 4 goals this months, and contributed to several others as well. I don't often single out individual performances, but he has been doing everything we could have asked of him and more.

This transfer window saw more players leaving the club than arriving and none more noticeable than the sale of Julian Draxler to Barcelona for £40,000,000. After publicly coming out, saying that he was too big for the club I was left with no choice, he had to go. That sort of attitued will not be tolerated by me or this club and no player is bigger than the club. He was a terrific player for this club and we had hoped to come to an agreement, we offered him a deal that we felt was fair but unfortunatly it was not to be and we wish Julian all the best for his new adventure with Barcelona. We did make one signing early on, defender Jannik Vestergaard from Werder Bremen for a fee of £11,500,000. He is a player who will add quality to our defence and this was a postion I felt we needed to add but it was important we found the right player and I feel Vestergaard is that player. We loaned out Dolberg, Mastour, Odegaard and Bielik as I felt that it was important for their development that they are playing week in week out and I couldn't have promised them that if they stayed but I reassured them that they are all important parts of this clubs future as they are special talents. I can reassure the Leipzig supporters that the funds from the sale of Draxler will be put back into the club after we improved out academy and scouting network. We have been known as a club who has invested well in recent years and we are not about to change that philosophy now. We will be scouting for players that will improve this club and we were not going to rush into the market and buy players for the sake of it.

Manager's Thoughts
The League - We have started the league in fantastic fashion with 7 wins from the first 8 games, keeping 6 clean sheets in the process. We have continued to show how solid we are at the back and the signing of Jannik Vestergaard has helped that. We have 4 fantastic centre backs and they all have different attributes which make them better suited to certain games and I'm confident that we will keep many more clean sheets throughout the course of the season. Scuffet has continued his form from last season as well and was vital in keeping those 6 clean sheets making some remarkable saves and showing why he is one of the best keepers in europe at the minute. Calhanoglu has really stepped up in the absence of Draxler with 3 goals in his first 3 games which backed up the decision not to invest in a replacement for Draxler.
The Champions League - We got off to a fantastic start in the Champions League with a narrow 1 - 0 victory over Fenerbahce which is never an easy place to go and get a result. The group consists of us, Fenerbahce, Zenit and Inter Milan which is not an easy group but I am confident that we can get through this group and hopefully build on last years quarter final exit. With Zenit to come to the Red Bull Arena next I'm hoping that we can start to bridge a gap early on to hopefully secure qualification to the next stage as quickly as possible. Our biggest challenge will be that of last years winner Inter Milan who also won their first game so it is important that we get at least a draw when we meet later next month.
Standout Performers - I could easily sit here and say the whole team but if I had to choose a couple of players who have really stood out I would have to say Alen Halilovic (0 goals 3 assists), Hakan Calhanoglu (4 goals 1 assists) & Niklas Sule (6 clean sheets). With the creativity of Draxler gone this season it was important that someone stepped up to the plate and Halilovic & Calhanglu and done just that. Both players are creating chances and Calhanoglu has continued with that goal scoring touch he showed last season. Club captain Niklas Sule has been a rock at the back yet again and it is no suprise we rejected a £55,000,000 offer for him from FC Bayern. He has been the clubs best buy since I took over at this club and I really hope we can keep hold of him for years to come because he will be vital in the success this club could have.

Am I the only one who's really nervous about the new no-touch dribbling feature in FIFA 16? Somehow I think this is going to be either really annoying to get used to or really easy to exploit. Maybe even both. Not a huge fan of this at the moment, but I hope that changes once the demo is out in a couple of weeks.

There should be something to kind of limit it so it isn't abused an awful lot. Something like the better the player is the more effective it is. I hope that defenders aren't fooled by it every single time as well.

Russell had his legs taken out on the right side of the box and Pack stepped up to the spot and powered his shot to the top right corner off the crossbar and in. Veldwijk drew the second penalty of the night and it was Pack once again converting, this time into the bottom left corner. Hahn got the ball down the left side of the box and he cut inside to fire a shot that went off the keeper and in. Veldwijk won the ball and he played it to Mahoney on the top left side of the box and he took a touch before slotting it across to the bottom right corner. Ikpeazu got the ball from Abdi and he sent it right back to him up the middle for the quick strike to break the clean sheet.

Portsmouth FC 3 - 0 Blackburn Rovers

Russell broke free down the right wing and took the ball into the box before sliding it back across to the center of the box for Çitçi to direct into the net. Çiftçi got the ball outside of the box and he took a touch left before playing the ball back to his right for Williams running into the box for the quick finish to the left side of the keeper. Smith pushed the ball up field and played it to Çiftçi just as he ran past the back line and he went through to beat the keeper calmly by placing it low and to the right.

The ref pointed to the spot after Pack was taken down on the right side of the box and he stepped up to the spot and used a hesitation before placing the ball into the top right corner. Pereira sent a corner in and Pack was able to get above the defense and head it off the keeper and into the top left corner. Çiftçi turned towards goal and fired a shot that the keeper pushed out to the left directly for Pack to chest down and then chip over the keeper diving back across to make the save. Veldwijk played Russell through into the box and with only the keeper to beat Bathh slid from behind and took him out earning a red. Pack stepped to the spot and converted into the top left corner this time to give him a total of 4 for the match.

Chelsea FC 0 - 1 Portsmouth FC

The score line remained level as both sides found attempts hard to come by with the defense playing at a high level for both teams. Manuel Hahn subbed on in the 79th minute and just two minutes later Russell played the ball to him just outside of the box and he pushed it towards goal before slotting it forward for Çiftçi who calmly played it through the keeper's legs as he charged out at him giving Portsmouth the deciding goal of the match.

Hahn dribbled towards the right side of the goal and fired a shot low into the bottom right corner for the opening goal. Russell played the ball ahead to Bannigan as he ran through on the right side of goal and slotted it past the keeper on the near post. Russell got the ball ahead of the defense and tried to push the ball around the keeper but the defender ran through his back and conceded the penalty that Russell tucked away to the top left.

Manager Comments

League Play - We are setting the league on fire right now after a perfect month in which we took every point available. Not only that, but we conceded just 1 goal while scoring 14 in league play. This is a team at the top of their game right now, and we don't want to relinquish that at any point. 10 points clear of second so early is outstanding, but the title is no where close to being won.

Capital One Cup - We went into Stamford Bridge as heavy underdogs against Chelsea, and we came out advancing to the Quarter Finals once again. We could barely find a chance all match long, but we held Chelsea to the same as both defenses battled it out. The difference was when Hahn came on as a late sub, and with his first touch of the ball found Çiftçi up the middle for the winning goal. Our next opponent is West Ham United now, and with our current form, it is hard to not feel good heading into the next round.

League POTM - Marlon Pack is the first Portsmouth Player to win the league Player of the Month during my time in charge. He was outstanding this month, and it was capped off by his 4 goal performance against Wolverhampton. Our captain has only improved ever since getting the armband at the beginning of last season, and he is a vital part of our squad.
