Jamieson found Pereira outside of the box and he dribbled around the right side of the defense and placed the ball back across into the bottom left corner. Pack sent a corner in to the near post and Veldwijk was there to direct it with his head past the keeper. Veldwijk's header off of McLaughlin's cross hit off the crossbar, but Veldwijk was able to take advantage of the defense's failure to clear the ball and he knocked it into the back of the net.

League Play - We dropped one this month, but our lead is still commanding. The win over Cardiff only served to prove how dangerous of a team we can be. Everything went right in that match, and our defense hasn't missed a step since Cropper departed.
F.A. Cup - The first match against Liverpool ended in a huge disappointment. We looked to be moving on into the quarter finals until Borini pulled back a last minute goal to force the replay. We had to travel to Anfield if we wanted to advance. We came prepared this time, and our defense wasn't about to let us down for a second time. The back line stood firm, but we couldn't produce anything on the other end until Russell made a great individual run that forced Markovic to pull him down inside the box or else let him go through uncontested on the keeper. We put our fate in the captain's hands and Pack converted to send us through.
New Faces - The new additions have been a much needed breath of air that has allowed us to really begin rotating the squad and keeping everyone rested and healthy. We had been experience off and on bouts of injuries, and with the large workload they were putting in, it isn't hard to figure out why. With the new faces in, that issue has been addressed.

March was our best month yet, winning all 5 games, keeping 3 clean sheets and I won manager of the month. We were unable to get into top spot because Norwich are not dropping points but we are right up there where we should be. The new signings are doing amazing, with Ryan (GK) making save after save, Vestergaard (CB) being a beast in defence and bringing out the best in Hinteregger (CB) and Johannsson scoring goals up front. I am finally getting the form I need to succeed.

Top Assists - Howson (Norwich) 12
Top Clean Sheets - Byrtek (Norwich) 18
We have won the championship. Maybe not the best silverware but I have finally won something in this career. This was by no means easy, as the first half of the season was tough to get through. We could not establish a good run of form and conceded goals like it was nothing. But what helped us was our capabilities at the other end of the pitch. We managed to score 93 goals this season, just two behind Norwich and this reslly helped us this year. It balanced out the goals we were letting in. But once we got through January and made our signings, we were like a completely different team, managing to sore goals but keep clean sheets. Our defence became incredible and I am so proud of the defenders and Goalkeepers for their effort in the second half of the season.
Now to our player of the season. It could have been a few players, but first lets see the stats for our players this season.
Screenshot (2).png
Player of the Season
Vilhena.jpg
Tonny Vilhena
Tonny Vilhena has been chosen as player of the year by managing to score 8 goals fron midfield and also assist 5 times. He has been consistant throughout the season and always pops up when we need an extra bit pace or energy in a game. He has established himself as a real team player.
Honerable Mentions
Danny Drinkwater
Drinkwater managed to score 4 goals and assist 8 times from midfield. He has been amazing this season, becoming our club captain and that important player every team needs when in a tricky situation.
Richairo Zivkovic
Zivkovic dropped off towards the end of the season, but still managed to score 16 goals this season. Without his goals, we wouldn't have been able to win the league, so he has been a crucial player for us. I knew how good he would be when we signed him, as I had him at Swansea and saw that he always managed to score a goal out of nothing, which is always a great attribute to have.
Matthew Ryan
Ryan only joined the club in the January transfer window but as soon as he entered our team, he made an instant impact. He managed to achieve 10 clean sheets in 17 appearences, beating Schmeichal who had played more games. He made amazing saves and kept our defence in line. He will definately be a top player for us next season.
Martin Hinteregger & Jannick Vetergaard
These two defenders have to be recognised together, as their partnership was inspirations for us in the second half of the season. Hinteregger struggled to make many positive appearances at the start fo the season but as soon as we brought in Vestergaard, it was like he was a new player. They won headers, tackles and were generally rocks at the back for us in many a game. I am looking forward to the impact they will have for us next season in the Premier League.
Well, I have done it, I am back to the premier league with my second job in Leicester. I am hoping to go from strength to strength and establish a style of playing that can excel us to greater heights.
Many thanks for reading. Any comments and suggestions are very welcomeComment

How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Hell yeah! At Wimbledon I used it with both Wimbledon and Scotland, at Osasuna I used it with Mexico, and right now at Leeds I use it with the B-Team while the First Team runs a 5-4-1 during cup competitions.
I think the 3-5-2 pretty much dominates Italy. It's rare when I see an Italian team on SoFIFA running 4 at the back. I've actually been surprised to see quite a few English teams playing with 5 at the back in the Championship so far

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
The one I've always used — two defensive midfielders behind one attacking midfielder behind two strikers, plus a right and left midfielder being told to track back. I've never used the wide men as wing backs because they don't get forward as much as I want, even with the 'always overlap' instruction in place. It's odd. I have never had this sort of performance with 3-5-2, but I suppose a different set of tactics might help.
EDIT: Okay, so I think the problem MAY have been tactics rather than the formation itself. Testing is underway on 3-5-2, 5-2-3 and 3-4-3 using the game's default counter-attacking tactics. Results might be up and down until December or thereabout.Last edited by SnapeKillsDumbledore; 08-25-2015, 04:04 AM.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Olympique de Marseille
September 2015
We started the month off with an away fixture at Troyes which should've been an easy win for us. Things didn't go as expected and we barely got the win thanks to a Gignac penalty in stoppage time. After that we hosted Rosenborg in the Europa League and even though we had a ton of shots and we dominated the game the game ended in a very disappointing 0-0 draw. Three days later Lille, the club that bought Abou Diaby from us, came to the Stade Velodrome. Andre Pierre Gignac put us into the lead under twenty minutes into the game and our supersub Niang doubled the lead but sadly Diaby scored against us, thus ending our eight-game long run of not conceding. We ended the month with a trip to Metz, another bottom three side, but they proved to be a real deal and the game ended 1-1. After seven league games we find ourselves in first place, one point ahead of Lyon. In the Europa League FK Austria are in first with three points and we are in second with a single point.
October 2015
Speaking of FK Austria, our first game of October was against them. This time our finishing was up to par and Karim Rekik, Romain Alessandrini and Ntep all netted a goal to beat the Austrian side. After that game we hosted Stade Rennais and tried out a 3-5-2 formation with Gignac and Alessandrini as the strikers, Thauvin as the CAM and Dja Djedje as our RM. In attack it worked well as we netted three past Rennais but in defence it was too chaotic. A week later we hit the road to Paris for "Le Classique" or the Derby de France. Don't let the name fool you, it's not a derby but a huge rivalry where the rich north faces the sea port working south. The stakes were high as PSG were a few points behind us and we wanted to increase our lead. We also decided to try a 4-4-1-1 formation with Romain Alessandrini in a free-roaming role behind the striker. Neither side had that many chances in the first half and the ball was mainly played around PSG's defensive third but Angel di Maria put them into the lead from a counter attack. We fought hard and soon Alessandrini equalised the game and that was how the game ended. Few days later we beat Bursaspor by two goals to nil. We also tested a 4-3-3 in that game but in the ended we decided to go with the 4-4-1-1. Then we faced Stade Rennais for the second time this month, this time in the Coupe de Ligue round of 32. We took the lead early on but soon Rennais scored two to get into the lead. Andre-Pierre Gignac equalised in the second half to end his 5-game goalless run and then Romain Alessandrini netted a brace to secure our place in the round of 16. We then finished the month with a 1-0 win over Nancy.
Player of the Month(s)
Romain Alessandrini
Our best player by a huge margin in these two months was Romain Alessandrini. The French attacking player played as a striker, winger and a secondary striker during the two months and he performed well in all of those positions. The fast and skillful man scored many important goals and was always a constant threat in attack.
Europa League Group
1. Olympique de Marseille, 7 pts
2. Rosenborg, 4 pts
3. Bursaspor, 3 pts
4. FK Austria, 3 pts
Ligue 1 Table
1. Olympique de Marseille, 25 pts
2. Olympique Lyon, 23 pts
3. Girondins de Bordeaux, 20 pts
4. Paris Saint-Germain, 19 pts
5. Stade Rennais, 19 pts
6. OGC Nice, 19 pts

18. ESTAC Troyes, 7 pts
19. FC Metz, 7 pts
20. Auxerre, 7 pts
First of all, sorry for not posting in some time! I've been busy and out of town. Secondly, I apologise for this post being so short and lacking in detail. I just wanted to get these two months out of the way and I'm thinking about doing some of the updates like this. Thirdly, I'll leave you all some feedback in the next few days!
Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
So as you know I have been extremely inactive for the past 2 months. This is maily due to my life being extremely busy. It' also at the stage where FIFA 15 career has gotten boring and old if you know what I mean. At the moment I'm playing a Crystal Palace Career to end my FIFA 15 experience but I doubt I'l post about it.
I have a question though and I would like people to comment.
What team will you be starting with in FIFA 16 when you get it?
Personally I have no idea I'm thinking Watford, Leicester or a RTG but haven't really decided.
I have still been reading the posts and I hope everyone keeps up the brilliant work and continue possibly the longest thread on the website.Comment

As for your question, first I'll do a season or two with Real Madrid (my favourite team) and after that I'll do a long career with Hertha BSC (my other favourite team) where my aim will be to win everything there is to be won. After that I'll either do a career with an English team like Stoke, Aston Villa, Swansea or West Brom or I'll do a career with an Italian team that's also a midtable side.-Simppu12-

Then I'll probably do a RTG with a league two side or a second division side. Might explore Bundesliga 2 or Serie B.Comment

I think I will have to go with Portsmouth again! They are going to have their stadium scanned into the game, which is crazy for a League 2 side. I'm familiar with the team, and they have a great back story considering their fall from the Premier League in such a short amount of time.Comment
