After surprising everyone and winning my final 8 matches to pull out the Premier League Title at Stoke City, I decided to jump ship to Man. City after Stoke only gave me a budget of $20 million the following year. Stoke was a lot of fun for me, but I wanted to go somewhere where I could compete with the big boys in the Champion's Cup and get a better international gig. Ended up at Man City with a $120 budget and bought a few of my guys from Stoke (most notable one being Jordan Slew, who is an absolute god in this game). Ended up arranging transfer/swaps to bring in Balotelli and Neymar as well, so I have a devastating 3 man scoring attack between the two of them and Slew (who led the league in goals the prior year at Stoke and is once again leading the league so far through 9 matches at Man City).



Also jumped ship from Denmark to England. Could have gone to Argentina, but I couldn't resist being able to coach a lot of the guys that give me trouble in the Premier League.



Also changing up my formations. I ran a 4-5-1 at Stoke, but I'm running a 4-4-2 diamond now, with Slew and Balotelli as the strikers and Neymar as the CAM. It's taken me some getting used to, but I'm starting to figure out how to use the new formation and I'm starting to pick up a couple new skill moves to add to my repertoire.

Try using a 4-3-3 attack with 2 CM and one CAM

Seems like that will suit your players

Use Neymar as LW
Balotelli or Slew as ST
Buy a good RW
And change the CAM position to a CF and play Balo or Slew there
This way you have 2 strikers AND Neymar is playing in his preferred LW position and he is amazing there
I am managing Brazil national team and play Neymar at LW, Pato at ST and Lucas at RW and Neymar has 15 goals in 8 games so far with Pato getting 11 in 8 and Lucas 8 from 8

Try using a 4-3-3 attack with 2 CM and one CAM

After struggling to get used to this game compared to FIFA 13 I think I've finally caught on. I've quitted several careers early on (failed at AC Milan, failed at Bilbao, did OK with Hamburg, and finally picked it up at Atletico Madrid) all of these careers were deleted after about the first month of regular season. I started a career with my favorite team, Guadalajara from Mexico and I am owning so far. First 2 matches were on Professional (won 3-0 and 2-0) for the third match I moved back up to World Class and I've been on a roll. Not sure if it is because I'm actually passionate about this team IRL and I know the players, but I'm surprised I'm doing this well after struggling with this game. Currently in 1st place after 9 games with 8 victories and 1 draw. I have only received 1 goal and that was from the draw. Using default sliders, only adjusted the injury sliders so the opposing team doesn't get as many injuries. Currently the 3rd best attacking team with 17 goals and best defense with only 1 goal against.

I am staying loyal to the team's transfer policy of only Mexican players therefore will only use the youth academy for new signings and players that are bought in real life. My goal is to qualify to the Copa Libertadores (LatAm) and become the first Mexican team to win it after it barely missed our grasp in 2011!

Started a new one with Milan , sold almost every guy who was over 25 , got one of the youngest and better teams in the league. I was close to winning the league in year 2 but we struggled with injuries and we went from 1st place to 3rd.

yes i agree that having one ST and a CF with a LW & RW is the best combination.... The CF & ST combo is deadly with the wings crashing in on their strong foots

my plan is to continue looking for a bigger job before the start of the 2014-2015 season, i might stay at RM Castilla if we get promoted to La Liga

They can't, they also don't have to sell their players off to Real and Barça respectively. I dream of a day when FIFA fixes this, not that it's a big deal since both clubs have $$$$$ but still, not realistic.

yea they cant.... in real life haha FIFA 14 different story, no big deal tho. Its gonna be tough to gain promotion, played another match this morning winning 3-1... Were in 6th place, 10pts behind 5th, and i have 5 teams withing 3pts of catching me.

Yeah it's one of my favourite formations along with my custom 4-4-2 which is the same as a 4-1-2-1-2 but the CDM is concerted to a CM

I started a career with Lens a few days ago, I'm in 12 place now with 1 win-5 draws- 2 losses; defeated Metz in the 1st round of the Coupe de la Ligue on penalties but got eliminated 3-2 against Nantes in a great match, which I was leading the score 2 times only to get the 3rd goal on the last minute 😠

I'm trying to adapt to the WC difficulty with Matt10L sliders, that's the reason about the bad results
