Bayern Super League Career Update
End of season 1
Won the Russian Cup final vs Juventus 2-0 with my left back Mattia de Sciglio bagging both the goals with fantastic strikes to the top right corner both times
With those two goals added to his previous two he won the golden boot for the cup haha
Finished the league well in first place with 82 points and my closest three competitors being Barcelona with 56, Real Madrid with 55 and Manchester United with 54
Barcelona and Real Madrid will join me in the Champions League next season with Manchester United missing out with one point due to me beating them in the last game 3-0 (part of me wanted to lose seeing that I support them haha)
But losing would've ruined my perfect unbeaten run that season with 26-4-0 record in the league and unbeaten in the cup
Not quite sure how competitive the Champions League will be next season with the best 16 clubs in the world in my league and only three getting into the competition
There are still some very decent teams left but it will mostly be played for the nice prize money next season
Robert Lewandowski was my star signing at the start of the season for 35 million and he got injured halfway through the season with a broken tibia which saw him out for the rest of the season
He still finished 3rd top scorer with 15 goals in 15 appearances despite missing half the season
First was Ronaldo with 18 goals then Benzema and Neymar tied second on 17 goals
Benzema was now playing for Chelsea after having signed for them at the start of the season
Messi was 25th top scorer with 4 goals in the whole season...
Tried playing possession football seeing that I am using Bayern and mostly dominated possession in games and often my opposition didn't even get a shot away the whole game leaving Neuer with some easy clean sheets (finishing top goalkeeper)
I played World Class 6 min halves
About to go into the World Cup with Argentina
This is my Bayern team at start of second season
Formation: 4-1-4-1
GK: Neuer (c) - 89 (+2)
RB: de Sciglio - 81 (+4)
CB: Boateng - 86 (+2)
CB: Hummels - 86 (+1)
LB: Alaba - 83 (+1)
CDM: Kroos - 86 (+2)
RM: Reus - 85 (+0

RCM: Muller - 87 (+2)
LCM: Götze - 88 (+3)
LM: Hazard - 88 (+0

ST: Lewandowksi - 88 (+2)
Other:
GK: Ter Stegen - 82 (+0)
RB: Jung - 77 (+1)
CB: Javi Martinez - 85 (+1)
CB: Varane - 81 (+0)
LB: Willems - 72 (+0)
CDM: Rode - 77 (Pre-contract)
RM: Shaqiri - 81 (+1)
CM: Gundogan - 83 (+0

CAM: Kahraba - 69 (+5)
LW: Bruma - 79 (+1)
ST: Benteke - 82 (+1)
ST: Ibarbo - 79 (+3)
At the start of the second season de Sciglio's potential changed from "an exciting prospect" to "has potential to be special" which means he now has 90+ potential
Bruma and Kahraba (both free agents) also "has potential to be special"
However, Varane's potential changed from "an exciting prospect" to "showing great potential" which is a real pity but understandable after his limited game time last season
Rode arrived as extra depth to my midfield
After the disappointing growth of Gundogan I am now trying to sign a new CM or CAM
I made an offer to Ozil who is now 89 ovr and 25 yo after a season at Arsenal for 30 million plus Shaqiri (I don't really need him there isn't much fitness problems in the Russian League with games spaced out a lot)
I also made a 14.7 million offer for 85 ovr, 22 yo Oscar who is in his last year of his contract. My chief executive said they might consider that offer but I doubt they will
Oscar and Ozil both fit in perfectly to the passing style of play I am using
In January of last season I panicked after seeing Lewandowski got an injury for 6 months. I only had Ibarbo as backup (who is a hidden gem) but didn't think he would be up to carrying the team on his own. So I did a straight swap with Aston Villa for Benteke with Thiago... Bad decision
Benteke hasn't been performing for me so I ended up using Ibarbo anyway. All Benteke seems capable of is heading and I don't like playing down the wings and crossing, I like nice passing moves that splits open the defence with a nice through ball
I will probably sell Benteke for hopefully 15-20 million now that Lewandowski is back
Also trying to swap Jung with Carvajal. Jung has been a great backup but at 24 yo and only 77 overall I need a better backup option to de Sciglio. I love Carvajal in real life and in the game so would love to get him
I also need a new backup left back to Alaba. I need someone young with a good potential but not a high enough overall to get unhappy with limited playing time... Any suggestions? I am thinking of Shaw but I've used him a lot... Also some guy with a really long surname: Khodz-something. He looks decent with a 80+ potential
Willems isn't happy with playing time so I would rather get a new young LB that isn't gonna cause me trouble and lots of money to keep happy
Apart from that I am very happy with the team and can't wait for the new season to begin.
Muller was fantastic las season for me scoring 13 goals in the league
As a CM I am very happy with that. He and Götze was also top assist. Kroos has a deadly FK and scored 2 last season(i only got 2 free kicks in shooting range....)
De Sciglio and Alaba are monsters and link up with Hazard and Reus very well
I hope Hazard and Reus improve this season it was disappointing not seeing them grow
Both their stats increased but their overall didn't
Sorry for the EXTREMELY long post but I had to sum up a whole season in one post... I hope you guys enjoy reading it and I'll update again next season
Cheers
