Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
By the way if you're looking for a striker in the low 60's with room to grow, Steve Leo Beleck is your guy. I believe he starts at 62 OVR though when I picked him up he was at 63. He's now 68 OVR and he's just a load (6'2" and pretty well built), at this point has a few ratings in the 80's. If he's too expensive for your budget I recommend at least loaning himvrabbit

Three leave for pastures new
Brighton & Hove Albion announces the departures of three reserve players.
Veteran keeper Ekramy (l) will be eager to prove himself at Derby
Sherif Ekramy was the first of the players to move elsewhere in search of new opportunities. The Egypt goalkeeper did not make any appearances for Brighton and was allowed to look for a new club. Upon agreeing terms with Championship side Derby County, Sherif was released on a free transfer.
Dunk (r) could not fit into Indiblue's system and will hope for better days at Bolton
Lewis Dunk has found it difficult to hold down a regular spot in Indiblue's team and has joined Bolton Wanderers in a bid to revitalise his career, seeking to help the Premier League new boys survive their first season after promotion. The club agreed a £2 million fee after Lewis agreed terms with Bolton.
Forster-Caskey has completed the Charlton move he turned down last summer
The third departure is long-time Brighton favourite Jake Forster-Caskey, who came through our academy before spending two seasons in Indiblue's side hoping to establish himself. Jake has decided to seek regular opportunities at Charlton Athletic, where he will move following a £400,000 agreement and join former Brighton wingers Solomon March and Brennan Dickenson.
We at Brighton & Hove Albion wish them all the best.
Bendtner to Real Madrid finalised
Tricky Nicky will be expected to hit the ground running at the Bernabeu
It's an emotional day in East Sussex as Nicklas Bendtner has completed his £14 million transfer to Spanish side Real Madrid, making him Brighton's record transfer sale.
Nicklas scored 62 goals for Brighton during two seasons. He helped us win last season's Capital One Cup, and his hat-trick against Fulham on the last day of the season ensured that we won our first Premier League title. Despite initially planning to stay on at Brighton, Nicklas expressed his wish to play for the club he grew up supporting.
Everyone at Brighton would like to express their gratitude to Nicklas for his contributions to the club. We extend him our congratulations and wish him nothing but success.

Barkley, Spoonley sign for Brighton
England international Barkley (r) is eager to put last season behind him
Brighton & Hove Albion is proud to announce the £10 million signing of Ross Barkley from Everton. The England international agreed a five-year contract that will see him become the club's record signing. Ross is expected to complete a medical in the coming days and join the squad before the end of the transfer window.
Spoonley (c) adds a third choice to Indiblue's options in goal
The club has also signed New Zealand international Jacob Spoonley on a two-year contract. Jacob was a free agent after being released by Team Wellington in his native country. The experienced goalkeeper, who will wear the number 15 shirt, is our second player from Oceania following the January signing of Australia centre back Trent Sainsbury from Central Coast Mariners.

Fee agreed with Porto for Ghilas
The powerful Ghilas (r) is expected to fill Bendtner's shoes
Brighton & Hove Albion is proud to announce the signing of Nabil Ghilas from Porto for a fee of £6 million.
The Algeria striker, who would have been out of contract in summer 2017, has been a long-time target of Indiblue's. He agreed a five-year contract worth £50,000 per week after meeting the manager, who personally showed him around the club's world-class Lancing training ground and American Express Community Stadium.
"I'm very excited to join Brighton. I grew up watching the Premier League and have always wanted to play here, and now I have the opportunity to do it with the best team in the country," the player said at his presentation, where it was revealed that he will wear the number 9 shirt last held by Nicklas Bendtner.

Brighton in crisis after fight between players
Gonalons (l) once famously picked a fight with Zlatan Ibrahimovic
In a shock revelation, it has been confirmed that Brighton & Hove Albion's training ground at Lancing was the site of a physical altercation between club captain Liam Bridcutt and new signing Maxime Gonalons.
According to the club's statement, Gonalons took exception to Bridcutt's vociferous leadership, claiming that it was not how things are done in France. To this, the English-born Scotland international stated that the Premier League is not France. This resulted in Gonalons physically assaulting Bridcutt, who had to be restrained by teammates to prevent him from retaliating.
Indiblue was not present at the training session as he was at home recovering from mild food poisoning. It is believed that Bridcutt, accompanied by senior players Will Buckley and Fraser Forster, met with the manager at his home later that day and requested that Gonalons be spoken to. Upon coming to hear the full details of the events, Indiblue is said to have been furious. He remains unavailable for comment.

Statement on the Bridcutt-Gonalons incident
Last week on August 26, an argument between our club captain Liam Bridcutt and Maxime Gonalons escalated into a physical altercation. After conducting a thorough investigation on the matter, Brighton & Hove Albion announces the termination of Maxime's contract with immediate effect.
As per the details of the agreement made with Maxime and his representatives in January 2016, the player is required to return his £4.3 million signing bonus in full. He is also banned from the club's training ground and the American Express Community Stadium except in the capacity as player of a visiting club.
The club does not enjoy taking sides between players. However, we feel the need to stand firm on this issue. While neither the club nor Liam will be pressing charges against Maxime, assault is unacceptable behaviour that will be met with zero tolerance. Brighton would like to publicly commend our captain on refraining from retaliation despite showing signs of aggression, and we are equally proud of the players who stepped in to defuse the situation.
Ross Barkley will now wear the number 24 shirt vacated by Maxime, while the number 10 shirt remains vacant after Will Buckley requested a change to 7, citing his fondness and adoration for the number's association with great forwards such as George Best and Kenny Dalglish.

Brighton make Croatian ace their marquee signing on deadline day
Rakitic celebrating winning the Europa League with Sevilla
Ivan Rakitic has completed a staggering £19.3 million move from Sevilla, becoming Brighton's record signing as well as the club's first player on a six-figure salary. Despite criticism from several papers that the club overpaid for the Croatia international, Indiblue remained steadfast and ebullient in his praise.
"Can you look me in the eye and tell me honestly that we have wasted our money?" the Brighton manager asked one journalist. "He's only overpriced if he doesn't do his job, so perhaps you ought to wait until at least this season has finished before you dub him and this deal a failure."
A tall yet graceful midfielder with incredible technique and vision, Rakitic nearly moved to Barcelona in 2014 and to Liverpool in 2015. Both times, he turned down the clubs' offers, citing his desire to continue playing for Sevilla. At the end of last season, however, he expressed his desire to challenge himself in another league.
The £19.3 million deal was agreed between both clubs early in the window but was put on hold to facilitate Nicklas Bendtner's transfer to Real Madrid. Following the expulsion of Maxime Gonalons, Indiblue set the wheels in motion once again. Sevilla agreed to revive the deal, and Rakitic met with the Brighton manager to discuss his plans for the Croatian, who will wear the iconic number 10 recently vacated by Will Buckley.
The 28-year-old is widely praised for his positional versatility and incredible range of passing. As adept at orchestrating play from deep as he is at stringing together lightning-quick moves in the final third, he will be a crucial member of Indiblue's team. It will be interesting to see what his role is, as the Brighton manager has so far used a 4-4-2 system with Will Buckley playing as a second striker.
Curiously, Gonalons has signed for Rakitic's old club. The French midfielder, who captained Lyon prior to signing for Brighton, infamously attacked Liam Bridcutt during a training ground altercation and had his contract terminated soon after. It is believed that his current deal with Sevilla includes a 'no fighting' clause.
In other news, total spending on deadline day totalled more than £218 million, with Brighton's £19.3 million signing of Rakitic being the single costliest transaction of the window.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Back in my Hamburg career in '13, Rincón played a vital part in my midfield. He was the guy that stayed back to recover the ball after failed attacks and always held it together. Just putting that out there lolComment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
lol, but yeah he's just a solid mid-70's CDM that will get that job done. Dont ask him to be running up and down the sidelines and he can get some pretty good passes done, but as far as commanding that midfield he's as good as you're gonna get around that rating.vrabbit

Challenging the Champions
After a great season which ended in two disappointments Hertha BSC is ready to start their European campaign again. The 2014-2015 season will be the first season in the most prestigious European competition, the UEFA Champions League, for the team from the capital since the 1998-1999 season. The Berliners' manager, young Bulgarian Mr. Ganchev believes in his team's chances for reaching at least the quarter finals. Ganchev has also stated that he wants his team to win the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal double.
