    Wow, that's really horrible. Maybe simulate the Inter game and check your subs in the next match? If they are (I just forgot how to shorten it, is it they're? Smh...) go back and play the Inter game again. If you miss the subs in the other game, I feel sorry for you. Btw, what's your PSN? I can't see it clearly from the picture.

        What I ended up doing is making all 3 substitutions at the same time to keep that glitch from happening in the match (Your move FIFA...) I was finally able to finish the match so I'll be posting an update shortly

        Oh and yes, "they are" = "they're." Been some time since English 101 eh? Lol

            How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

            February 2016 Season 3

            AFC Wimbledon 2 - 1 Reading
            RDG: Le Fondre 45'
            WIM: Moore 58' Baldwin 65'
            After losing 2-0 to Reading back in October Wimbledon were able to avenge themselves, although this was still a very difficult match for them. Luke Moore continues to score making people wonder why he wasn't starting ever since the League 2. Jack Baldwin was able to score on his debut for Wimbledon and his second goal of the year. We caught up to him after the match:
            --------------------
            "Yeah it's always great to get a goal especially on a debut and to make it even better it was the winning goal."

            What has it been like trying to adjust to this new club?

            "Oh I'm loving it here! After the medicals we're given a little history lesson where it's explained to us how this club was founded and videos of how heated matches against MK Dons can get. It really makes you get goosebumps knowing you're a part of this now and makes you feel closer to the fans. Now I'm here wishing I could have been here sooner and taken part in one of the matches against MK but we're moving up so we have bigger things to worry about!"

            Alright Jack thanks for stopping for us we'll be keeping in touch!

            "Definitely, thank you."
            --------------------

            AFC Wimbledon 1 - 0 Bolton
            WIM: Harvey 25'

            AFC Wimbledon 1 - 0 Brighton & Hove Albion
            James 80'
            Once again Indiblue's Brighton played a very solid match keeping Wimbledon at bay. It wasn't until the 80th minute that Luke James was able to find space and score on his debut for the club. James joined Wimbledon in January but was not able to debut until now due to a broken ankle. The Wimbledon staff will be hoping he can make a swift recovery without any discomfort in his ankle.

            Europa League
            AFC Wimbledon 1 - 1 Inter de Milán
            INT: Alvarez 2'
            WIM: Hanson 77'
            The favorites, Inter de Milán, grabbed an early goal after a long ball sent from midfield after kick off found Alvarez without a mark in the box just a few yards away from goalkeeper Ross Worner. This surprised all of us as Tafazolli, Pell, and Morris were all near Alvarez but no one had picked up the mark. Wimbledon struggled to break Inter's midfield and instead focused on advancing through the wings where Inter only have 1 man. Wimbledon put in several crosses but all were rejected by the Italian defense. At about minute 65, Chavez sent in the perfect man for this style of play: 6 foot 4" striker James Hanson who has been unhappy with his playing time and is desperate to prove himself ahead of Luke James. Hanson immediately created danger with Gornell behind him as CF and as it was to be expected, scored an incredible goal from a volley at minute 77. Wimbledon are behind on away goals, but after tonight's showing they proved to Inter that they are not to be underestimated.

            FA Cup:
            Reading 0 - 2 AFC Wimbledon
            WIM: Shelvey 9' Gornell 50'
            Reading had the opportunity to change the course of the match at minute 37 when a penalty was called in their favor. Deeney stepped up to take it for them, tried to get cheeky and chip it to the middle, but ended up sending it over the bar.

            Bournemouth 2 - 2 AFC Wimbledon
            WIM: James 17' Egan 55'
            BOU: Arter 43' Grabban 47'

            Europa League
            Inter de Milán 1 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
            INT: Blaszczykowski 33'
            WIM: Gornell 36'
            Inter went ahead first but Wimbledon reacted immediately after. Both teams clearly did their homework from the 1st leg. Wimbledon played an offside trap to prevent any long balls from Inter, and the Inter manager had his midfielders open up to support his wingers to prevent Wimbledon from exposing the open avenues on the sidelines. Inter also practiced on their defensive headers to be prepared in case Hanson came in to the match and were able to neutralize him. In extra times Wimbledon played very defensively and were just trying to hold Inter to make it to penalties. Inter on the other hand, didn't want to go to penalties and were trying to end it as fast as possible. The penalty shootout was very tense, until Inter missed their 4th shot. They still had a chance to come back, but Ross Worner became the hero of the match and blocked the 5th penalty. AFC Wimbledon have eliminated Inter de Milan!!!

            FL Championship League Table
            1. Fulham - 79 points
            2. AFC Wimbledon - 72 points

            4. Wigan Athletic - 63 points
            5. Reading - 60 points
            6. Bolton - 57 points
            --------------------
            22. Barnsley - 26 points
            23. Bristol City - 15 points
            24. Peterborough - 11 points

            ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
            Press Conference
            Good evening Mr. Chavez. First I'd like to point out the impressive tactical performance you put in against Inter de Milan we all enjoyed watching it. Now you're up against Saint-Ettiene in the Quarter Finals. Do you feel this round will be a little more in your favor after defeating one of the biggest clubs from Italy?
            "No, in this type of competition you can't underestimate anybody. I think we're actually an example of that. Every club that's here deserves to be here, and the French side have proved why they're here. They just eliminated Sporting CP by a good margin. It's gonna be a difficult match and we'll prepare for it just like we prepared for Inter."
            You're also progressing well in the FA Cup, how much importance are you giving it seeing as you have the League and Europe to worry about?
            "All 3 competitions are very important for us. We made it to the Europa League through a domestic cup competition, so ideally we want to win it this year and get in Europe again for next season."
            Terry Gornell hasn't been as prolific recently as he has been a couple months back. Are you worried about it in anyway?
            "Terry has 31 goals in 34 appearances from all competitions. If you consider that a bad form then I think everyone would want to be in bad form. The thing is, all of our players want to attack. When Gornell sees everyone pushing up into the box he tends to fall back and cover the holes left in midfield. Nothing to worry about, we just have to work on it at practice and get everyone on the same page."
            Thank your for your time Mr. Chavez and a special thanks to everyone at HYFCMG for reading!
              ROAR OFFER STRIKERS CONTRACT EXTENSIONS, SOLÓRZANO ACCEPTS
              September 1, 2013
              Brisbane -- Brisbane Roar have made a flurry of moves this week, first hiring a youth scout to scour Australia for young players, and now offering contract extensions to top strikers Besart Berisha and Jean Carlos Solórzano. Solórzano's contract was reportedly a two year extension with no increase in wage, which he accepted shortly after Roar extended the offer.
              However, mercurial Albanian striker Besart Berisha reportedly asked for more time to weigh his options before committing to a similar contract that would see his weekly wages increased by 60%. If Berisha and Roar are unable to come to terms, it could spell the end of the talented striker's time with the club. "We want him here, because he adds a lot to this club. He's an extremely talented player, and without him it makes it harder to get to where we want the club to be this season. But make no mistake, if he doesn't want to be here, I'm more than confident that Jean can step up and fill the void." He went on to say that if Berisha remains steadfast in moving on from the club that he would answer all calls for the player during the winter transfer window.
              Whether the veiled threat that the club would have no qualms moving on from the star striker have any effect on negotiations remains to be seen.
                  Okay, so basically I finished the season with Deportivo and got a huge budget for the next season. This is the point where I get bored of careers since I hate being able to afford anyone haha. So I think I will be looking at a League 2 team so it will take longer to start getting real money. I want you guys to vote on the following options.
                  A relatively unremarkable history, Morcambe only made it to the Football Leauge in 2007 for the first time. It's a history that is essentially a blank slate waiting to be written.
                  The club has been a member of the Football League since 1921 and have spent all of that time in the bottom two professional divisions of English Football. The club has achieved promotion three times - in 1969, 2010 and 2014. Although the club have never won a competition since joining the League, they have the distinction of playing in the final of the League Cup in 1962, the first of only two teams from the lowest tier to have done so.
                  Southend United Football Club is an English football club founded 19 May 1906 in the Blue Boar pub and has been a member of the Football League since 1920. The club has spent most of its League career in the English lower divisions, with only seven seasons in the League's second tier (Division 2/Championship).
                  Since becoming professional in 1903, the club has won five Football League titles (one Division Two and two Division Three), five Southern League titles and one Western League title. The 2009–10 season was the club's 42nd in the second tier of English football. The team set the record for most championships won in the third tier, having finished first in the Third Division South twice, the Third Division once and the Second Division once.
                    Without knowing anything about the caliber of players or competition, I would go with Morecambe FC simply because how can you not play as a team with a prawn on its crest?
                    Edit: Also I guess the whole blank slate lends itself to some great stories--can you give the fans some living legends? Will fans in the future talk in hushed tones about you as manager, and your players with the same reverence given to those like Pele?
                        Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
                        Hi everyone!
                        This is my first message though I´ve been reading the forum for months.
                        I decided to start a career mode with FC Porto, which is "my second team" for several reasons, as my team, Sporting de Gijón, is in 2nd Spanish League (Liga Adelante), a league which I have played so many times that I get bored with.
                        I was thinking in other challenging possibilities, as a lower league team from Liga BBVA (Celta or Elche), or from Premier (Cardiff City or Southampton). But I don't have any sympathy for other Spanish club, and I'm a West Ham fan in England, and I played with them before several times, and at first, I don't want to start in the better league, I prefer to arrive there later. So as a Porto fan, I decided to start with them, which I feel more challenging, you know, you MUST win...at least the Portuguese League.
                        Before start I need a few opinions. I know the squad has a lot of offensive players, but not enough deffensive players. I was thinking on skipping the summer transfert window, but now I think I'm gonna use it and try to balance my squad. What's better? I have 20 million € budget, but instead of stars I prefer to grow the squad a bit. I was thinking in guys like Medel or Poulsen.
                          I know right! I have yet to lose a penalty shootout so when we went to extra times I knew I just had to hold them off. Plus I deserved that win. In the final minutes of regular time Gornell picked up a rebound literally right in front of an open goal. I decided not to tap it in because I didn't want to win with a goal like that, so instead I just shielded it until a defender sent it to a corner. I would have regretted that if Inter scored in extra times big time.
This is the point where I get bored of careers since I hate being able to afford anyone haha. So I think I will be looking at a League 2 team so it will take longer to start getting real money. I want you guys to vote on the following options.
                            Spoiler
                            I hear ya. I'm close to my 4th season at Wimbledon so I'm getting bored as well. Maybe picking up a national team will help regain interest. I'm currently stalling offers from New Zealand and Finland. I would like to take the New Zealand challenge, but the only thing that throws me off is I won't be able to have any players on my team due to my transfer policy.
                            Plymouth would be great because you'll have a future star Tyler Harvey. In real life he's a striker, but in the game he's listed as a CM with ST as a secondary position. I think his status is showing great potential in my career. He's currently 65 but plays well in the midfield. I might try him out as ST once his heading accuracy improves.
                            At Southend you'll have another future star Jacob Murphy who's pretty good right off the bat. In my career he's an exciting prospect and 68 overall. Southend also have 1 more good youth prospects I think. John Egan is a good, young CB as well.
                            I don't know much about Rochdale, sorry.
                            My vote is for Morecambe. Be aware though, they'll be a huge challenge! Their kits are nice, their history pages are blank and waiting for you to write on. If you take Morecambe, you should still check out Jacob Murphy and Tyler Harvey. They're cheap (I was able to bring them to Wimbledon my 1st season) and have a bright future.
Cavani? Or Jovetic? So unrealistic though - and I love realism so they're not the type I'd usually go for, for a Liverpool CF - so someone please give me some ideas?!?! (Oh and thanks vRabbit for suggesting some yesterday - GREAT HELP! Big follower of yours)
                              I'd go for Cavani or Jovetic. What's realistic nowadays? You can see Monaco or Zenit IRL as an example. I think if you have extra money you should use it, it's business. If they don't wanna go they'll tell you. Liverpool has a great history, it's a great club.
                                Morcambe F.C. Announces New Manager
                                While having been around since 1920, Morcambe has found success hard to come by. Busting into the football league for the first time in 2007, Morcambe has spent only 7 years in the Football League in their almost century of existence. After the departure of Sammy McIlroy who led them to the Football League, and even posting a 4th place finish in the 2009-10 season, Jim Bentley failed to impress while the team slowly declined back towards the bottom of the table. After finishing only 4 points clear of relegation, the club has decided to part ways with Bentley and look to hire a new manager with hopes of turning the fortunes of the club around.
                                Several rumors have circled around who would be the next manager. Several names were thrown into the hat, including names from outside of England. I appears a name has come to the top, and it may a surprise to many. An American, Tex Bumosix will be the next manager of Morcambe F.C.
                                After having spent the past 10 seasons as an assistant for the Houston Dynamo in the MLS, Tex will be taking the reigns of this own club and trying to make a name for himself. During his tenure as an assistant, the Dynamo won 2 MLS cups, and finished runners up in two others. He turned down several offers to take charge of other MLS clubs in the past, always stating that he was waiting for the right opportunity to come along. Many speculated that he was waiting either for Dominic Kinnear to retire from managing the Dynamo, or that he was looking abroad. It appears that the opportunity has finally presented itself and he eagerly awaits as we take you to the live press conference with the newly named manager.
                                Press Conference
                                Q: Tex, many people will point out your lack of experience as head manager. How would you respond to those that question your qualifications?
                                A: I understand people having their doubts about a manager coming from another country and only serving as an assistant. But I would like to point out that I have spent the past 10 years within the management of one of the most successful clubs in that league over that time period. I have seen what it takes to win, and what it is like to come up just short of the goal. I know what that drive to win feels like, and I feel it every day. That is a feeling that I will instill into any team I manage and you can expect to see that here. Barely scraping by is something that will be unnacceptable in my eyes, and you all can look forward to bigger things than this club has ever seen going forward.
                                Q: That's an aweful lot of confidence, something I'm sure the board took note of during the interview process. What do you think it was that made you stand out so much that the board decided to put their trust in you for this position?
                                A: I've had the past 10 years to think about how I would run my own club. I came into the meeting with the board with my vision for the club already laid out. Once I shared that with them, I believe they really felt that it was something that moved along with what they saw for the club. Once we knew that our visions were aligned with each other it was easy to talk logistics afterwards. We both want to win, and we both want to build this club up to more than it has ever been before. It has been 94 years of existence for this club, and we want to set it up to be in a great place by the time it hits the centinneal.
                                Q: What are your immediate plans for the squad? Any major transactions to be expected as far as players leaving or joining?
                                A: I have a vision in mind for the squad, but the first thing I must do is to fully evaluate the squad. I will be meeting with the players 1 on 1 to get to know them, and to get a feeling for if they are on board with our future path or not. Some will be leaving, and I am sure that additions are to come as well. I cannot speculate too much as to what those changes will be since it all depends on the market this transfer period. But I will say that you can expect changes to be made.
                                Thank you for your time everyone. It is a true honor to be chosen to lead this squad going forward. I have been waiting a decade for this opportunity and now that it is here, I will not let it go to waste. This is a club that I found I can believe in and I want to instill that belief into everyone around the club as well. I promise that I won't let the board, and even more importantly, the supporters down. I am here to give the city of Morecambe something to cheer for.
