I was getting a little of the outcomes from two CM that I had going so I decided to mix up the sliders for a more difficult and interesting game experience. So I now have one that I am doing with Empoli. (Always wanted to be in Italian league) things look quite promising after drawing in two friendliest with Swansea City and Bayern Munich. Won last friendly against FC Metz. Then won Tin Cup 2 round match against Trapani handily. This CM looks like it is going to be a little challenge.

Final Press Conference
Q: First of all, congratulations on winning the Premier League by a comfortable margin. Even though you dropped points this month, Chelsea failed to gain ground after you beat them. Describe how special this season was for you and for the club?
A: To have taken this club from League 2 all the way to here... it's just been an unbelievable experience. We accomplished what every player who has played in this league aims to accomplish. Each of these players should be proud of themselves for getting this done.
Q: You are the European Champions! You and Real Madrid played what will certainly be a memorable final ending in a penalty shootout that went all the way to the 10th kick before it was decided. After losing to Real Madrid in the Copa Europe at the beginning of the season, were you having any doubts that you could do this?
A: We never doubt ourselves, and this is proof as to why. We just won the biggest trophy a club can aim for! Real Madrid are one of the absolute best clubs in the world, and to beat them, especially after losing to them once this season was exactly how we would have wanted to prove ourselves. The penalty shootout almost gave me a heart-attack! But, we are the winners, and we get to take this trophy all the way home to Morecambe!
Q: Now that you have proven yourself as the best club in England, and in Europe as well, what are your plans for the future now?
A: I have accomplished all that a manager could dream of. I have won the league title in 3 different levels of English Football, the Capital One Cup, the F.A. Cup, the J. Paint Trophy, the Europa League, and now the Champions League. Doing it all with one club has been an experience that few managers can claim. I feel that now is my time to announce my retirement from managing at the club level. This is my chance to go out after these players helped me to accomplish everything I could have ever dreamed of. I will always remember this group as a very special group of players.
Thanks everyone for reading! This is all for my Morecambe career, it was the first one that I took as far as I did. Looking forward to my next career that I hope to take into much more depth and to develop a more intricate story line, without overdoing it as well. I hope you guys enjoyed this, and I hope you all will enjoy my next career as well! I can guarantee that the updates will slow down now haha, definitely was pushing hard to get this done.
A hell of a career. You are the first I've seen take a League 2 club and win the BPL with them. You set your mind to winning it this season and brought in the players needed to do that. I should learn from that and stop beating around the bush with Wimbledon. That final against Real Madrid sounds unbelievable! I applaud you for all you have accomplished and look forward to your next adventure(s). Now, go enjoy your prize!Comment

Youth Academy
Yannik Brauer POS: RW (OVR: 46-48 POT: 74-80)
After another month of being in the YA. I have come to see that Mr. Brauer could become a solid backup striker in a couple of years.
Stuart Williamson POS: CB (OVR: 42-44 POT: 73-77)
has little to no shot of making the senior club because of the log jam at CB.
Sascha Dierßen POS CM (OVR: 43-45 POT: 74-80)
Has a pretty strong chance to make the team based on the potential alone may loan him out a couple of seasons to get some playing time. He has been labeled as an attacker. So Schnatterer now has some competition for that back up CAM job.
Rui Caeiro POS: CM (OVR: 37-39 POT: 73-79)
Pegged as a defensive minded player. I am pretty set at CDM right now with Alonso, Schweinsteiger and Lahm. So will probably be sold.
Pedro Morillo POS: CDM (OVR: 52-56 POT: 80-90)
Another good find by the scout sent to Brazil. He has found some pretty good prospects in Caeiro and Morillo. Will hold out hope that he sticks as a left back with a second position at RB so I move him there and he can see some playing time.
Julian Aycicek POS: RW (OVR: 47-49 POT: 73-77)
Labeled as an attacker. The attributes show he will have below average speed and average ball control.
James Noone POS: ST (OVR: 41-45 POT: 73-81)
Not much to say about Noone but he looks to be an attacker with some strength. Labeled as Physically Strong.
Florian Morys POS: CAM (OVR: 46-48 POT: 74-80)
Now that we know he is a CAM. He has now thrown his name into the ring for the back up CAM job.
Diogo Rocha POS: CM (OVR: 37-39 POT: 71-77)
Another CM who is more suited to be a CDM. High strength and defensive minded.
Adam "PacMan" Jones: POS: CB (OVR: 41-43 POT: 72-76)
He has been pegged as a physically strong CB. Seeing as I sold my second backup CB, he will be signed to an entry level contract after the beginning of May.
Ken Schnatterer POS: CAM (OVR: 52-56 POT: 71-75)
Has a shot to take over as my back up CAM instead of Muller. He is technically gifted, good ball controller.
Daniel Hubner POS: LM (OVR: 43-47 POT: 73-81)
An attacking LM that will most likely become the back up to Muller when Ribery is gone should I not one of my favorite young players in Diego Fagundez.
Scoring Leaders
Kruse 12 goals
Muller 11 Goals
Kießling 11 goals
Raffael 11 goals
Ramos 10 goals
De Bruyne 10 goals
Gotze named Player of the Month this February. He is the teams first player this year to be named Player of the Month.
Also I was approached by Roma offering me a 35K euros. Obviously said offer was rejected as I am committed to Bayern right now. Also I am surprised as I have not had any National Squad games yet.
Edit: Right after I post the National games part, I get an email saying I have EC Qualifiers coming up soon. This will be my first national squad appearance.Last edited by redsox4evur; 10-02-2014, 11:54 PM.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Dagenham '15-16 Season
March Update
League Match 35
Derby County - Dagenham (3-0)
Russell '30
Coutts '33
Russell '74
Recap: I have nothing, really. The home team did a nice job of getting two quick goals back to back and I was never able to cut into their lead, then they eventually added a third goal for comfort. Wasted opportunity.
League Match 36
Dagenham - Burnley (3-0)
Obafemi '51
Reichel '59
Reyna '66
Recap: Playing again just two days after the loss on the road I had to play most of my B team on this one ... and they came through! After the first half it seemed I would have to sweat it to get points out of this game but once Obafemi opened the scoring we got going pretty good. Nice bounce back win.
League Match 37
Nott'm Forest - Dagenham (1-1)
Elito '18
Jonathan Reis '83
Recap: Nott'm is a difficult opponent, lurking just outside the playoff positions for a while now. I thought we might be able to hang on to the 1-0 lead but they finally broke through towards the end forcing the draw. A fair result.
League Match 38
Dagenham - Barnsley (3-0)
Akpom '48
Monzon '74 (P)
Torres '90
Recap: Playing against one of the worst teams in the league, we created several opportunities in the first half and the inability to score seemed to indicate it'd be a frustrating game. However, Akpom got back on the scoring sheet to open up the gates and we were able to close out the month with a bang.
FL Championship Standings
1. Wigan Athletic - 85pts
2. Crystal Palace - 84pts
3. Bolton - 79pts
4. Dagenham - 72pts
5. Stoke City - 64pts
6. Brighton - 63pts
...
22. Bristol City - 24pts
23. Barnsley - 20pts
24. Colchester - 18pts
As you can see the wasted opportunity against Derby County (13th place) really hurts because we need all the points that we can get if we want to achieve direct promotion to the BPL. I thought overall we played really well this month and now we'll be going into April which with eight games will bring the season to an end. Those games will be as follows: at Wigan (4/2), vs Bristol (4/5), at Middlesbrough (11th, 4/9), at Colchester (4/12), at Crystal Palace (4/19), vs Blackburn Rovers (9th, 4/23), vs Wolverhampton (Ogogo reunion, 10th, 4/26), and at Ipswich Town (17th, 4/30). As you can see this month will test our team's depth with a lot of short rest in between games.
On the academy front we finally made contact with our newly signed 2-star scout who is out in Ghana. He's actually the only one to make a contribution to the academy after he and two 1-star scouts were sent on a 3-month journey 2 months ago. The 1-star scouts will be fighting for their jobs with their final reports, so they better bring it. Here's the youth squad:
- Joma Sadami (???, 55-69, 71-91)*: 15 Y/O from Ghana is the most recent addition to the academy. The observations are still preliminary while we try to get a better look at him but he's actually shown to be better than our scout's report suggested, at least early on.
- Tim Brooks (CDM, 60-64, 82-88): 16 Y/O from the United States who will likely be called up to the senior team after this upcoming season. If he develops as expected he could take over at CDM allowing Monzon to move to another midfield positions (perhaps CAM?)
- Victor Meyer (CM, 58-62, 75-81): 16 Y/O from the United States who would benefit from staying in the academy for at least the rest of this season.
- Raffaele Molinaro (CM, 50-54, 79-85): 16 Y/O from Italy is technically gifted and seems like he'll be more of an attacker.
- Francisco Anibal (LM, 55-59, 72-76): 16 Y/O from Portugal described as technically gifted definitely needs to remain in the academy for now.
- Emilo De Mesquites (CM, 52-56, 71-75): 17 Y/O kid from Portugal would be smart to stay in the academy for a full season.
- David Antonio (CM, 47-49, 73-79): 16 Y/O from England has a long ways to go before he'll be considered for the senior team/
- Brian Donaldson (CAM, 46-48, 73-79): we're still holding out hope that this 16 Y/O from England will have CF/ST as a secondary position because of his 6'2" frame, but he is also far from being considered for promotion.
- Enric Tilea (CM 43-45, 71-75): 15 Y/O from Romania is described as a playmaker. Probably needs a couple of years in the academy.
- Manuel Burchert (CM, 52-56, 69-73): 17 Y/O from Germany doesn't project as much more than a role player and probably needs to be promoted after this season regardless of his progress.
- Kenneth Hansen (LM, 49-53, 68-72): 16 Y/O from Denmark whose best chance to contribute to the senior squad comes with staying in the academy for the rest of the season.
- Goncalvo Guterres (CF, 47-49, 67-71): This 16 Y/O from Portugal is our lowest rated prospect at the moment but he will play at a position of need.
* Denotes recent addition to the Y.A.
2018 World Cup - CONMEBOL QUALIFIERS
Uruguay - Venezuela (2-1)
S. Rondon '3
Cavani '17
Godin '42
Recap: So close. We surprised the Charruas with an early goal but they stuck to their game plan and by halftime they had reversed the scoreboard. They defended their turf well.
Venezuela - Peru (2-0)
M. Rondon '2
Feltscher '53
Recap: goals at the beginning of each half were enough for Paez to defeat his former team who created a few scoring opportunities but none of much danger. Like Uruguay in the previous match, we defended our turf.
Standings
1. Venezuela - 13pts
2. Brasil - 12pts
3. Chile - 11pts
4. Argentina - 11pts
5. Uruguay - 10pts
6. Bolivia - 7pts
7. Peru - 6pts
8. Ecuador - 5pts
9. Colombia - 5pts
10. Paraguay - 3pts
Fortunately for us the loss at Uruguay didn't cost us the lead in the standings. The next round of games won't come until September. I have no clue how Bolivia has gathered 7 points.
And that's all for now, the next time I update this CM ... I may not be done with this season

Exeter City Announces Ex-Morecambe Manager Tex Bumosix as Next Manager
The 4th tier of English Football was shocked when the series of events with Morecambe led to the resignation of the promising young manager, Tex Bumosix. After finishing at the top of the table in the 2013/14 campaign, Morecambe looked set to be playing in League One next season. It was not to be. An investigation into Morecambe uncovered irregularities in the financial statements, and the club was forced into Administration and penalized 10 points. The team that was set for the league championship, was now forced out of contention for a playoff spot. In a very tense and enraged interview, Tex Bumosix announced his resignation from the club effective immediately, citing that he could no longer trust the ownership after everything from the investigation was brought to light.
After leading Morecambe in a campaign that should have guaranteed promotion, Bumosix was a hot name in the league once he became available. After talks with several clubs, it was rumored that Bumosix was leaning in favor of taking over Exeter City. The official word has now come out that he will in fact be the next manager of the Grecians. We take you now to his press conference.
Press Conference
Q: A lot of questions are flying around over the circumstances that led to your resignation from Morecambe. What was the ultimate cause for your departure?
A: It all comes down to trust. As a manager I need the trust of my ownership, and I feel that in return I will trust them as well to help me build a winning club. That trust was shattered once I learned that the Ownership was withholding profits and not reinvesting the money that I helped to earn for them back into the club. The greed of a few individuals ruined the otherwise great experience I had in my sole year there.
Q: What led you to Exeter City? What about the club was the deciding factor that made you choose them over the other clubs all vying for your services?
A: Exeter City had a lot of things going for them that I really liked. I consulted with several of my closest colleagues from around the league and there was one person in particular that really caught my attention with what they said. ChicoBass from Wimbledon spoke very passionately about working for a supporter owned club. He made me realize that what happened to Morecambe is something that would be unfathomable at a club run by their own supporters who make every decision as a whole, and not by just the whims of the few. After talking to Exeter's board who represented the Exeter City Supporter's Trust who own the club, I knew that this was the place for me to get a fresh start.
Q: Are there any ill feelings left with you towards Morecambe after the widely publicized split between you and the club? In your press conference announcing the resignation your anger was apparent in your words.
A: There's one thing I want to make absolutely clear, I harbor no ill feelings towards the supporters, and especially none towards the players. They should all be just as angry as I was over the situation. It all comes down to the owners and the decisions they made. I couldn't have asked for a better group of players, of for a more supporting fan base to introduce me to English football. They will always hold a special place in my heart.
Q: With Morecambe now in administration and needing funds, will you be targeting any of your old players now that several are sure to be on the market?
A: I still have to fully assess each member of my squad now at Exeter and decide on a few things. First what formation would be best for this club, and second what positions are needed to be improved upon. There are several players at Morecambe that I would absolutely love to have follow me, but it also has to make sense in terms of both need and in price. Everything will become a little clearer in the coming weeks not only for you all, but for myself as well. Decisions will be made all the way up until the clock hits zero to close the market.
Thank you everyone for coming out, but as you can all expect, I have a lot of work to do. I hope to accomplish many things for this club and help to bring in several trophies for Exeter City. I'll see you all next time.

Exeter? YES! Loving it already. I really liked that back story too. Good twist to it, you achieved great things with Morecambe but it was taken away and that's why they're still in League 2. You also left the club, but on a good note and the fans should understand. It also opens you up to bringing in players you liked from Morecambe. Great read!Comment

Very close game with both rivals battling until the end. MOM Assaidi.
Match 14
Stoke City 1 - 1 Arsenal
Bojan 31
Doumbia 37
An entertaining game in this fierce grudge match between 2 teams who clearly don't see eye to eye. Stoke created a host of chances forcing Szczesny into several top class saves. Definitely 2 points dropped by the home side.

Match 18

Unal 6
Arnautovic 80

Game 19
Stoke City 3 - 1 West Bromich Albion
Diouf 29
Brunt S/O 33
Garmston 42

A great day for the home fans saw them get one over on rivals W.B.A. again this month. Helped by the red card for Brunt on a cynical foul on Pieters, injuring him. One point of note was the away teams goal which must be a contender for goal of the season, Garmston volleying in from well outside the area.

Overview
In what has been a challenging month for Stoke city we took time out of busy manager Stuart Browns schedule to ask him about his first 6 months in charge.
Q. Its been quite a good season so far for your team currently lying in 4th place and in the Capital One Cup Semi-final. How do you see the rest of the season panning out?
A. well yes It has certainly been the kind of start we were aiming for and the lads are eager to see the final table look the same or better.
Q. You have been pitted against Manchester United in the Semi-final. Do you think that you can go on and win the trophy?
A. Absolutely. Any team that makes it this far will believe that they can win it. Manchester utd are a great team but we got a good point away from them and face them at home in the league next game. Our aim is to make them sick of the sight of us at the end of January.
Q. Speaking of January, will there be any transfer activity going on?
A. I'm sure you have all heard the rumors surrounding Geoff Cameron wanting out. Well I can confirm that he has handed in a transfer request and we will be looking to bring in a replacement at right back.
Q. Are you looking to buy for other positions?
A. No comment on that, we don't want to give our opponents too much information.
(hope everyone is enjoying this career mode more updates soon)

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Thought I'd post game 1 of my Aston Villa Manager Mode (14, Updated rosters) here because... it was awesome.
I'm using Orion523's sliders with slow game speed.
6'—GOAL! Benteke with the goal from the spot after Vermaelen is booked on a questionable call. Benteke powered it top right and Szczesny didn't even move.
~13'—WOW! Cazorla feeds Giroud, in alone on Guzan, but the American comes up with a HUGE stop and the ball is cleared.
29'—GOAL! Lukas Podolski scores a diving header on a cross from Santi Cazorla! He smashed that into the bottom right corner.
38'—WOW! Podolski steals it from Luna, feeds Giroud in the penalty area; his shot is blocked by Ron Vlaar, but Guzan is out of position, and the ball is on Flamini's foot... just wide of the post! He missed a open goal!
45'—GOAL! Joe Cole makes a good run down the right wing and crosses perfectly to Benteke for the Belgian's second of the match.
45'—CRUNCH! Gary Agbonlahor is booked after a badly-timed tackle.
HALFTIME
55'—Ozil on for Cazorla.
66'—Walcott on for Podolski.
67'—Tonev on for Wiemann.
69'—GOAL! Luna makes a nice run down the left flank after a precise through ball from Agbonlahor. Luna's cross finds new man Darren Bent in the box and Bent heads home Villa's third.
81'—GOAL! Ozil powers home a header off Arsenal's 8th corner of the day.
82'—Westwood in for Agbonlahor.
93'—GAME! Villa holds on with some frantic defending and Emirates Stadium patrons go home unhappy as Villa walks away with the upset.
Man of the Match: Ron Vlaar (6.9)
Notes: What an awesome game. Felt really real, fun, and awesome to win the first match especially against Arsenal. Benteke was phenomenal, as was Joe Cole and really the entire team played a part. Didn't see the early foul that got me a penalty. Brad Guzan DID WORK. 9 saves, and 4 of them were saves he shouldn't have made. Glad to see Bent score, especially the winner. Tonev impressed in the pre-season friendlies and got into this game because of it; he played somewhat sloppily but was a spark with his speed. Overall a great, great game.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
What team should I go as in Career Mode.
For the past week I've been thinking about what team I should play as.
AND IT'S FRUSTRATING ME!!!!
please help.
I would prefer a lower Premier League team due to their stadiums although a Championship team would be Ok.Comment

This will be my first national squad appearance.

March UpdateSpoiler
Your youth academy is great as always! Particularly looking forward to Sadami and Brooks. I love the depth you go into for your youth academy in your updates.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
A hell of a career. You are the first I've seen take a League 2 club and win the BPL with them. You set your mind to winning it this season and brought in the players needed to do that. I should learn from that and stop beating around the bush with Wimbledon. That final against Real Madrid sounds unbelievable! I applaud you for all you have accomplished and look forward to your next adventure(s). Now, go enjoy your prize!
Exeter? YES! Loving it already. I really liked that back story too. Good twist to it, you achieved great things with Morecambe but it was taken away and that's why they're still in League 2. You also left the club, but on a good note and the fans should understand. It also opens you up to bringing in players you liked from Morecambe. Great read!
