Others like Keano, Kenny, Cruzerr, etc. can also be added. I just wasn't sure if you wanted to put their current careers or another one as their biggest so far.

Bear with me as well guys, don't forget I missed a good chunk of time when I disappeared for a while and a lot of people came in during that time.

And then now there are a lot of people with careers that have a great chance to go the distance. I know there are several that I following closely that I think will be just as memorable as any other one that's been in this thread.

Feel free to add ones to the list, I only just started it, obviously nowhere close to done. Also, feel free to disagree with any of the choices above on those people.
Hmm... I would say Morecambe for you, however I enjoyed the Deportivo one more, it was just, more fun in my opinion. For Indi I would say Sunderland slightly ahead of Brighton. Chico is a given, Alcorcon for Rabbit.

The one that surprises me is, Liverpool! I was under the impression my FIFA 14 Newcastle was my biggest and most well received. And then I moved to Dortmund and that was well received. I think my FIFA 14 Newcastle/Dortmund was my best!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

@Simppu I'm not being funny, but you are absolutely nuts if you think Hummels was anywhere near as good as Godin, who would have started anywhere. He was the best header of the ball in the game all season, and read the game better than almost any defender. He was the foundation rock of that ATM team, which had some incredible talent.

As for Robben/Turan, I suggest you watch their teams play without them. Bayern did not struggle to maintain their game without AR whereas Atleti needed Turan to enforce the width trap that made them so deadly. Let us not forget that Turan was the vital cog missing in the CL final, not Costa. Turan would have been crucial in denying space to Modric and Alonso.

Yes, I agree James was good for Monaco, but he was certainly not one of the best midfielders in Europe. He still has a lot of work to do as well, but could be in the top 10 by end of this season. Matic and Modric are much better in holding and central midfield, while Koke was better as a link with the attack. I would recommend the Atletico game vs Sociedad away to illustrate how good Koke was.

ps Godin headers galore to showcase how good he is, including in the CL final. Also watch how he kept opposition wingers from cutting in all season long.

Also, I would go with Nottingham Forest for my career. This was before you guys joined up, begins around page 36 or so. I went 7 seasons, winning two league titles, two Europa Leagues, two FA Cups and one Champions League.

I guess I need to read some of these old careers! You guys seemed to have loved them. Shame I wasn't here then.

As for mine, I've only done Wycombe and Swansea atm so I don't think I deserve to be added to the list just yet.

@Cruzerr, I think ye will lose 1 game.

Newcastle was on my mind for sure, but I think I thought Liverpool since you keep going back to them. However it's a new career each time so I suppose that doesn't count haha.

Hmm yeah I don't remember that one haha. I do remember your Sunderland one as Jamie pointed out, but Brighton sticks in my mind the most. I may have to go check out some of those Nottingham posts!

                WALL OF TEXT

I gotta agree on that Hummels part, Godin deserves to be in the team and I don't see anybody actually replacing him.

HOWEVER, now that you talk about Robben and Turan, I have mixed feelings in this discussion. I'm gonna go two ways here - stats and impact.

Turan finished the 2013-14 season with 10 goals and 6 assists. Robben with 27 goals and 18 assists. Stats wise, you would clearly give the edge to Robben.

Now, I know what you are going to say - stats don't tell the full story. I completely agree. Turan is an impactful player and probably needed more than Robben in their respectful teams. That being said, I still don't see how Robben being in the TOTY is wrong. As an individual player, he is fantastic and his impact was there for Bayern and lets not forget for the Netherlands aswell (3 goals, 3 assists; not bad in the WC).

To sum it up - I think Robben might not be as needed in Bayern as Turan might be in Madrid, yet the impact that Robben has had on Bayern is nothing that could be denied.

This is my opinion, based on how much I have seen both Atletico and Bayern. I would gladly hear yours if you want to respond. A healthy discussion about football is always welcome in my opinion.

Now, about the rest of the midfield - Di Maria HAS TO BE on that team, hands down. He was huge in the WC, huge for Real. I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be there.

As for Kroos, I feel that his spot there could be one that could be changed, yet I personally would not change it. He is a different player than Modric and Matic, obviously.

If you had Modric or Matic instead of Kroos, then yes, I actually think the team would make more sense and would be better. But this has nothing to do with actually how good the team itself is - it is about individual play. I can't really make an argument that his impact has been bigger than Modric or Matic (if I went on who has the biggest impact on their team out of these 3 players - I would go with Matic, yet I honestly believe that he wasn't the most impactful player in Chelsea last year. This year - maybe, now that Hazard has a easier life.)

All in all, I believe that Robben and Di Maria deserve to be there; so should Turan, but not to replace those 2. Maybe to replace Iniesta.

If I had to make the team:

                Manuel Neuer

Philipp Lahm, Sergio Ramos, Godin, Alaba

Angel Di Maria, Toni Kroos (Modric, Toure, Matic), Robben(Turan, Koke, Hazard )

                Messi, Zlatan , Cristiano Ronaldo

(oh, and James makes no case what-so-ever to be on this list. No chance. If James was on this list, there would about 9-10 better and more impactful players that would get left out. Again, my opinion.)

How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

                  September 2014 - Season 1
                  FIFA 15 (PS4)

                  CA Osasuna (B Team) 3 - 0 Albacete
                  OSA: Vujadinovic 48' Ansarifard 73' 87'
A dominant win for Osasuna against 21st place Albacete who have yet to accrue any points in the league. The first half was a very boring one, but the second half started off with more excitement with a goal by the defender from Montenegro Vujadinovic who headed the ball in from a corner. We wouldn't see much action after that, until the Iranian striker Ansarifard received his first opportunity to show himself on the field coming on to replace Onwu late in the second half. The young striker immediately made an impact first by scoring with his foot and then scoring with his head to make it 3-0. The striker competition is heating up!

                  Deportivo Alaves 2 - 1 CA Osasuna
                  ALA: Tejera 16' Velez 61'
                  OSA: Onwu 89'
Osasuna's 3 game winning streak was put to an end by mid table team Alaves, who simply dominated the Basques. Osasuna's wingers had a terrible day taking it easy on Alaves' fullbacks and hardly made any runs down the line. Osasuna's only choice was to attack down the middle, but the Alaves manager quickly figured that out and organized his defense to close down on both Guillermo and Torres. Guillermo would be taken off in the second half and replaced by Manuel Onwu who also had a tough time on the field but managed to score right before the final whistle. Once again, Onwu making good on his chance.

                  CA Osasuna 4 - 2 CD Tenerife
OSA: Torres PEN 37' Sisi 48' Guillermo 74' PEN 81'
                  CDT: Ifran 58' Davila 65'
A very close match despite the final score and a match with three penalties in the 90 minutes! The first penalty came from a questionable foul against Osasuna's Cuevas and Roberto Torres took the penalty with confidence and into the net. Right before the end of the first half the referee called a penalty now in favor of Tenerife after a foul by Osasuna's Loties. Ifran would take the penalty for Tenerife but he sent it over the crossbar! The Tenerife manager looked very frustrated seeing his team blow a vital chance to get even, but things would get even worse as only 3 minutes into the first half Sisinio would make it 2-0 for Osasuna. Osasuna would get a little too comfortable with the scoreline though, and Tenerife took advantage with Ifran redeeming himself and finishing an incredible play with several passes inside Osasuna's own box. Now Chavez is the one that looked frustrated after a shaky display by his defenders, but it wasn't over yet and 7 minutes later the Mexican and Chelsea midfielder U. Davila would also take advantage of Osasuna's shaky defense and equalize the match. Osasuna had just let a 2-0 lead slip but fortunately Guillermo came in to save the day and put Osasuna back into the lead. Guillermo was pumped up and continued to look dangerous in the attacking third, eventually receiving a hard slide tackle inside the box that the referee immediately called as a penalty. With Osasuna's penalty takers off the field already Guillermo had to take it himself, but he did not disappoint and shot it towards the bottom left corner past the goalkeeper who dove right. The match was not an easy one at all, but Osasuna took the win.

                  Girona CF 3 - 3 CA Osasuna (B Team)
                  OSA: J. Garcia 16' Luque 39' Onwu 59'
                  GIR: Sandaza 42' Jandro 68' Sanchon 77'
Another bad match for the Osasuna defense as they let a two goal advantage slip once again. The beginning of the match was perfect for the away fans as young Jose Garcia scored his first official goal with the Osasuna first team through a rebound of his own shot. Julian Luque would then also get his first goal with Osasuna showing incredible ball control bringing down a lob pass from Jose Garcia inside the box and then shooting the ball into the top corner of the net. A flying start for Los Rojillos but Girona was able to get one back right before the end of the first half. Chavez wasn't worried though, as Onwu made it 3-1 for Osasuna in the 59th minute and Osasuna were dominating the midfield. A defensive slip in the 68th minute allowed Girona to make it 3-2, and now Chavez was beginning to look a little tense. His team was playing great, but Girona threatened to score with each attacking play and the Osasuna defenders weren't doing enough to stop it. The inevitable goal came in the 77th minute to make the game 3-3 and Osasuna were not able to recover from it. The Reds may have gotten the win back from Tenerife but they couldn't do it two times in a row, and this time they had to pay for their mistakes.

                  CA Osasuna 0 - 1 Real Valladolid
                  VAD: Alfaro 12'
A very important game for Osasuna against the league leaders, but unfortunately they weren't up to the challenge. The match was already expected to be a heated one between the two managers since Real Valladolid came in and swooped up Ivan from Levante when Osasuna had approached the player first, but we weren't able to see Chavez's anger on the field. Valladolid got off on the right foot with an early goal from Alfaro, finding space in between Osasuna's centre backs leaving him through on goal. Osasuna tried to get back in the game but were never able to, once again failing to advance down the wings and Guillermo and Torres getting locked down in the middle. Real Valladolid remain at the top of the table but Osasuna are slowly going down on the league table.

                  Racing Santander 1 - 0 CA Osasuna
                  RAC: Miguelez 66'
Racing Santander were in the lead to sign Chavez in the preseason, but in the end Chavez chose to sign with Osasuna instead. Los Verdiblancos got back on Chavez by defeating his team with an amazing free kick by Miguelez. Osasuna dominated the game, controlling midfield with a lot of passing and plenty of shots on goal, but unfortunately they weren't able to get the ball past the Racing goalkeeper and lost by the minimum difference. Once again Osasuna's midfield did what they had to do, but with no one in the final third to finish the plays it was all in vain.

CA Osasuna Player of The Month

CAM - Roberto Torres (Spain) (25yrs 69 OVR)
Osasuna's youth graduate Roberto Torres takes this month's PoTM award following a consistent display of playmaking this month. Torres is a local hometown player who joined Osasuna's youth academy and climbed the ranks until finally getting promoted to the first team and receiving consistent first team opportunities. The #10 showed why that jersey was given to him and was a frequent danger to the opposition in the attacking third, but unfortunately his teammates weren't able to finish most of the plays he set up particularly in the last two games of the month. Torres stood by his team even after the recent relegation, and his hard work and loyalty is paying off as he has become an important player in Chavez's lineup.

                  Press Conference

Mr. Chavez, you finished in first last month, and this month you are just barely in a promotion playoff spot on goal difference. What would you say to the fans who have shown mixed feelings towards your arrival?

"True fans will always stick by their team, and that's what Osasuna has. True fans. I am positive we can push through this and the fans will always be there as we do. In the beginning of the season I said we would focus on getting the result before playing attractive football. I will admit we got off track and did just the opposite, playing entertaining football first and results second. The football is there. Everyone can see it we are playing great football but we are not getting the results. We are working hard to turn it around and get back to the top end of the table. My staff and I try to take the positive and grow on it, and the good thing is that we have shown we have the talent to play attractive football. We must build the team from the back to the front though. Once we solidify our defense and get the right results, we can begin to improve our attack."

                  September Headlines

                  Transfer Window Failure?
Osasuna lost several key players after last year's relegation, and many would argue that Chavez's work in the transfer window did not make up for any of it. The first signing, Marcos Alonso, has been a consistent player, but for the B team. The left back has been occupying the LWB position and hasn't had a good time adjusting to his return to Spanish football. He is the only natural LB in the team, but Cadamuro continues to start in that position with the first team since Alonso hasn't picked up his form yet. Next we have Guillermo Fernandez, who came in on a swap deal for veteran striker Nino. The Athletic Bilbao youth graduate started this season running with 4 goals in 2 matches, but this month he was only able to score 2 more goals and was often neutralized by his markers. Chavez continues to start the 21 year old over the more experienced Manuel Onwu, which hasn't sat well with some of the fans who question Chavez's work. The other two signings, Victor Camarasa and Julian Luque, are also starters with the B team, which again leads fans to question Chavez's work. Osasuna lost multiple key players after relegation such as Riera (70), Damia (72), Armenteros (72) Fernandez (75) and Arribas (78), but all Chavez has done to make up for it has been to reinforce the bench. Chavez may take pride in the fact that all four of his summer signings were Spanish players, but are they really the players Osasuna needed?

                  A Dream Come True

Translation: "From Feeling The Colors To Fulfilling Your Dream - Congratulations Jose!"
In more positive news, young Jose Garcia has fulfilled his dream of celebrating his very own goal with his beloved Osasuna, the club he has passionately supported since he was a child. The fans adore him, many of them sat next to him in his younger days at the stadium, and they all celebrated the goal with him once again - only this time he was the goal scorer on the field. Not everything is perfect though, and Jose Garcia had to watch his team give up a 3-1 lead after he scored the first and assisted the second. Under Chavez he has actually become a very important player for the B team, often involved in all of the attacking plays, and the other teams are beginning to take note of him as a threat on the field.

                  Conclusion
As you can see, this was not my best month. I got carried away after that last month with two easy wins and thought I could dominate the world, but the other teams quickly made me put my feet back on the ground. I received a message from the board saying that I should experiment with the squad a little more especially going into important matches. Don't know how much impact that actually has in the game since I've never received those kind of messages, but it certainly didn't look like a good sign. I will be experimenting with the squad and trying out different formations. (Not because the board told me to but because I want to okay! Lol) My wingers have been terrible in the 4-2-3-1 Wide, but then again it is not a formation I usually use.

                  Any feedback is appreciated!
In a few moments I will post my squad list.
                  Thanks for Reading!

                    CA Osasuna 2014/2015 Roster

                    Formation Change
As I mentioned in my previous update, the 4-2-3-1 Wide was not working at all. It is not a formation I favor, but it was Osasuna's default so I used it until I could get to know my players. Now that I am more familiar with my squad, I have decided to go with a 4-3-3 Holding. I like to play with 1 striker and having a set CDM is vital for my style of play. Guillermo will stay as the striker, with the instruction to stay central and to be a target man. Both of my wingers have the "get in behind" instruction, but my LW De Las Cuevas will also have the "cut inside" instruction. In midfield, Nekounam will take the CDM role with the instruction to stay back while attacking and Oier will take the RCM position with no instructions given. Roberto Torres is a very important player in my attack as a CAM, but I no longer use that position. Instead he will play as a LCM, with the instruction to get forward. I may also give him the free roam instruction and see how it works out, but for now he's been playing great without that instruction. In defense, the LB Cadamuro will be given the "stay back while attacking" instruction since he's naturally a CB, but my RB Flaño will have the "always overlap" instruction.

I think you should replace Oier with somebody a bit better.

I loved the "A dream come true" part, very well written. You made these posts very interesting, I hope you keep this up!

                        TOON TO THE TOP
                        SEASON 2
                        PS4

                        Player of Last Month

                        Balasz Dzsudzsak

The tricky left midfielder has cause opposing defences so much grief this season, particularly last month where he created more chances than anyone else. A brilliant midfielder who I am so happy to have in my team.

                        Champions League Match 4

                        Newcastle 3-0 BSC Young Boys
                        Dzsudzsak 20
                        Bony 57
                        Kampl 86

Dzudzsak gave us the lead in this match, curling in from the edge of the box before Bony made it 2, tapping in from close range. The best of the lot was Kampl's late goal, beating his man before smashing into the top corner. We absolutely dominated the mediocre Swiss side.

                        Match 11

                        Newcastle 2-1 West Ham
                        Oliveira 18
                        Zarate 28
                        Oliveira 45

Oliveira opened the scoring in this game with a looping header from a corner that bounced down off the bar and just over the line, bringing the goal line technology into play to make sure. Zarate equalised, beating his man before curling past Alnwick but Oliveira struck straight down the middle after Riviere pulled it back to him after beating his man.

                        Match 12

                        Manchester City 1-1 Newcastle
                        Bony 69
                        Rekik 74

An intense game with both teams forcing incredible saves from the keepers. We broke the deadlock when Bony turned Kompany and powerfully struck into the top corner. However, City equalised when Begovic was caught in no-man's land from a cross and Negredo volleyed it in. Or so he thought but an amazing header from M'Biwa turned it onto the bar. Unfortunately Rekik was able to head in on the rebound, M'Biwa getting very unlucky managing to get some of his body in front of the ball but not enough.

                        Match 13

                        Newcastle 0-0 Sunderland
Sunderland dominated this derby completely, Johnson and Giaccherini absolutely wrecking our defence. Johnson hit the bar and Fletcher had his header saved incredibly. We finally got a good attack late on in which Medels roaring strike hit the inside of the post and bounced out of danger.

                        Champions League Match 5

                        Newcastle 2-0 Juventus
                        Medel 20
                        Bony 34

A great win at St. James' Park. Medel opened the scoring against the Italian champions and three time European cup winners with an absolutely incredible goal. From a corner, Buffon punched clear but only as far as Medel. On the half volley he struck it from the 30 yards over the top of the defenders and the stranded Buffon, blocked from getting back by his own defenders. The ball dipped and found the top corner to a frenzy of screams. A thunderbolt that will be a contender for goal of the season. Bony got the second, heading in from Kampl's low cross.

                        Match 14

                        Southampton 1-0 Newcastle
                        Long 14
A very disappointing loss, Ronaldinho forcing some great saves and Oliveira and Riviere coming very close but Boruc denied them with incredible saves. Long got the only goal, capitalising on a defensive shambles to stroke into the bottom corner.

                        Inspired by Texasbum06 and Simppu12

                        Gary Medel

The former Boca Juniors, Sevilla, Cardiff City and Inter Milan midfielder was a star this month. Not just because of his incredible goal against Juventus, but because of his brilliant all round performances. He is strong, has tackled well and has been an influence in front of the defence. The third different player of the month in 3 months and the third new signing to win.

I loved your Nottingham career! One of the first ones that really made me crazy about tactics, etc, since your recaps would always talk about how you were changing formations and using players and everything. El Shaarawy was a beast for you in that career. That would have to be my favorite of yours alongside the Brighton career.

Jamie, I actually agree with the prior statement in that I honestly thought your Liverpool career was my favorite of yours as well.

Obviously, most other people are pretty self explanatory as to their best career like Chico with Wimbledon and the like.

Please do...we need more diversity with our careers. Most guys are doing the smaller teams and working their way up to the top of a League and the world for that matter. I usually play with the big teams so I would enjoy it.
