There should be a tick box somewhere when you start a new game entitled "Enable Budgets in the First Window", or something to that effect. If you can't find it, then I'll try to take a picture of it,

So in looking, I did have this option applied. I tested another team from Serie A, and they had a budget. So in searching for answers online, I found a thread on FM-base where they had all of the major league team budgets listed from the demo. Apparently the amount is based on where the team currently is after making their transfers for the start of the 10-11 season.

Milan at 0, while odd, makes sense. It had Barca at 10M and Madrid at 7.5M, so overall I see what they are doing. It did say that some could change from demo to retail. I know the patch did something to Liverpool to account for new ownership, their transfer kitty might have been bumped up a bit as a result. At least I know it isn't a bug, so I have moved forward.

So you guys have had a chance to try out the game for a while now, is it worth the purchase from 2010? Also you guys check out online possibilities? or was this untouched?

I havent tried online yet (at least I can assume me/sox/tim/nomar are the only ones here who do online) but I say go ahead and make the jump. The 3D looks great and you can find the small new features they added, nothing revolutionary but still great to see. If money is an issue for you however you could wait to get it/skip this year, your not missing out on that much.

So you guys have had a chance to try out the game for a while now, is it worth the purchase from 2010? Also you guys check out online possibilities? or was this untouched?

If money is not an issue, yes, it's very worth the buy. Lots of little things that you wish were in 10 are in. And the 3d match experience is improved 1000%

Haven't really touched online yet. But I doubt it's any different than last year. They haven't integrated an online interface as far as I can tell.

After talking it over with Sox, purchased last night, already downloaded all the extras: logos, kits, faces, etc. Started up a MLS save this morning to just get into game and new features. The 3d match is impressive upgrade!!

Starting with Sounders ofcourse........

First MLS transfer, as expected, Donovan to Chelsea. I got Bowen from LA for a draft pick, and looking for any other depth to fill.

Yeah, Donovan is always off to somewhere in Europe in all of my saves, Chelsea always chooses between him and Pienaar

I got another annoyance that I can't figure out. Playing as LA, seems like about 95% of my matches are played in their dark blue, road kits even in my home games which in real life we don't even use the blue kits on the road hardly. Anybody know what files control what kits are used during the actual match? I tried setting both of my kit pics to the white home ones, but that didn't work.

Try looking at the config file if you are using custom kits, the author might not be a big LA/MLS fan and just assigned it wrong. Or you could try removing the Away kit and see if it still has them in the wrong one. Make sure skin cache is not ticked in your preferences as well.

Sunday league, unemployed, planning on winning all 6 major continental competitions (Champions Leagues from around the world plus Copa Libertadores). I'm loading 88 leagues from 35 nations, (including plenty of edits from last year) some of the ones that I plan to be in when I win a confederation tournament:

Africa
Egypt; Algeria; DR Congo

Asia
Australia; Japan; Iran; South Korea; Saudi Arabia

Europe
England; Spain; Italy; Germany

North America
Mexico; USA

South America
Argentina; Brazil

Oceania
New Zeland

I also loaded a bunch of small leagues, like Estonia and Ghana, but those are just stepping stones to get to the top.

Like an idiot, I decided to declare interest in a job (that I ultimately wouldn't get) and was fired by Notts County as the relationship between me and the club was "beyond repair". FML. So, I'm gonna stick it out as unemployed and see what happens.
