i downloaded the demo for this today, and wow, is this game deep. I literally have no idea what I am doing right now. I played one friendly with Arsenel to make sure the game would run on my laptop, and I won 1-0.

Does anybody know if the you can convert the info from the demo to the final game? I want to restart the demo with a different team now that I know it will work, but I don't want to put in all of this work if I decide to purchase the game and the save does not carryover.

FYI, the demo lets you play the friendlies, but I believe will end once league play starts.

I make my own. I like to succeed with my own creation... or fail in some cases.

I like to do my own. Although, one that I use in my rotation is the "4-2-4 Nomar" originally designed by rsnomar05 and shared in our discussions over FM10/11.

With how in-depth you can get now, it is a bit daunting if you are trying to come up with one of your own. It's also easy to get impatient and start tweaking things before your team is settled. You just have to start basic and tweak to your players' strengths. Remember to check out the reports and make sure your guys are playing in the role that suits them best. As much as you can, anyway. You shouldn't bench a great player just because they might not be playing in their perfect position.

I think in past versions it did allow you to convert the demo save.

You might as well just buy the game now. No way you get through the demo and quit at that point. You already did your first hit of video game meth when you clicked "Start Game".

Yea. You might as well say goodbye to normal life. You'll soon be losing track of time and playing this game to the wee hours of the morning.

I've thought about running this at work but I know I would get nothing done. Just one more virtual day, just one more game and so on. It would be like 3:30 and the servers would be overloading or something and I'd be managing a virtual team. lol

What is this normal life you speak of? What is time? Are those the name of your scouts?

Yeah, you get 6 months (half a season), and it's an actual save, so there's no need to convert. Problem is, you're limited to a small database size, so I would recommend just getting the game and starting a save with a large database (unless your system can't handle that).

You know you're addicted when you put the names of Football clubs as previous job experience on your resume.

That would be a disaster - at least for work.
