Just getting through a stretch where I first lost Ozil until around the next transfer window, Khedira for a week or two, Alonso for close to 3 weeks. Ronaldo, Higuain, Benzema, and Sahin for 3-4 weeks. Thank god I still have Kaka, Di Maria, and picked up Landon Donovan and Neymar. Kaka and/or Granero up top while Donovan, Di Maria and Neymar have been starting. Donovan has been an amazing distributor for me so far. Undefeated in 2 Champion Leagues games and about 4 La Liga games with this makeshift lineup.

Much like we have the wonderkid generator for FM13, I was wondering if anyone would be interesting in compiling a manager database for FM13?Support Local Sports

Tried talking to a football fan co-worker about my recent struggles managing Lazio. He just stared at me like I was a ghost. Some people just don't get it.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Show him the game, he'll be an addict.
Question for the vets: In the summer window i dropped 51 million for Cavani to be a gooner. 30 million now, 21 in the next summer window. The board gave me an additional 44 million to play with in January. Is there a way i can give Napoli there money now or do I have to wait until the summer window?
Also considering a 4-4-2 with Podolski and Cavani up top, with Gervinho and either Ox/Walcott on the flanks, with Cazorla and Arteta in the middle.
Nevermind, they're getting their money in installments, instead of a lump sum.Last edited by jb12780; 11-26-2012, 01:13 PM.GT:jb12780

Doesn't matter anyway. Arsenal will be Arsenal. Sitting eighth, behind Villa, QPR, and Stoke. WTF.
In the past 2 hours, Ive been managed to get fined twice by the FA for a combined total of about 60k.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
First season at Rangers was a striking success. Went undefeated in league play, finishing in first with 98 points (31 W - 5 D - 0 L). Three of the draws came after we clinched the title with 8 matches to go and I started rotating some of the kids in.
Best Eleven
GK - Neil Alexander (19 app, 12 sho, 6.95 rat) [Signed with Nottingham Forest after season]
DL - Lee Wallace (41 app, 3 gls, 12 asts, 4 MoM, 7.31 rat)
DC - Chris Hegarty (29 app, 2 gls, 1 ast, 1 MoM, 7.18 rat) [Signed with Accrington]
DC - Michael Keane (23 app, 2 gls, 1 MoM, 7.23 rat) [5 mo loan from Manchester United]
DR - Eric Lichaj (22 app, 1 ast, 1 MoM, 7.25 rat) [5 mo loan from Aston Villa]
DM - Lee McCulloch (32 app, 5 gls, 5 asts, 2 MoM, 7.15 rat)
ML - David Templeton (18 app, 6 gls, 2 asts, 1 MoM, 7.30 rat)
MC - Richard Brittain (22 app, 9 gls, 2 asts, 4 MoM, 7.30 rat) [$110k transfer from Ross County]
AMC - Fraser Aird (18 app, 9 gls, 4 asts, 2 MoM, 7.25 rat)
AMR - Lewis MacLeod (24 app, 1 gl, 5 asts, 6.98 rat)
ST - Kevin Kyle (19 app, 11 gls, 4 asts, 2 MoM, 7.15 rat)
Honorable Mention
GK - Scott Gallacher (19 app, 13 sho, 6.92 rat) [Signed with Preston]
DM - Kamil Wiktorski (21 app, 1 gl, 3 asts, 1 MoM, 7.07 rat)
MC - Kyle Hutton (17 app, 3 gls, 1 MoM, 6.99 rat)
ST - Andy Little (19 app, 1 gl, 5 asts, 1 MoM, 6.94 rat)
ST - Francisco Sandaza (17 app, 13 gls, 3 asts, 3 MoM, 7.53 rat)
DC - Ross Perry (19 app, 1 ast, 1 MoM, 7.22 rat)
ST - Kal Naismith (26 app, 2 gls, 8 asts, 7.04 rat)
17 players went out on free transfers and because of the transfer embargo combined with players getting raises from promotion, I couldn't replace them. My most valuable asset on the transfer market doesn't even account for much in payroll (Lee Wallace at 675k/yr). A third of my payroll is ate up in 3 aging center backs (Bocanegra, Goian, and Cribari).
Going to have to rely on the kids this season. Still the favorite for promotion to Division 1. Might want to do better in cup competition this season than last year. Board was all kinds of ticked off for getting knocked out in the 4th Round of the Scottish Cup.Comment
