Does FM13 have the same issues with crashing, and all those different failures? Gonna end up losing data to another save I was deep into. Happened when I turned Stoke around a few months ago. Now it's my Real Madrid save.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I've never had a save file go fully corrupt on me in any version of FM.
I've obviously had the game crash, but I never lose more than a week thanks to rolling auto-saves.
Are you using any custom league files? Those can cause problems.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Yeah I mean I lost about a days worth of the save. It was mainly frustrating though because I'd lost a lot of my players to injury and so going undefeated with basically my reserves was a pretty big deal, therefore I've lost the desire to start it over again. I'm probably going to upgrade to FM 13 anyways.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
1st Season with the Arsenal (most of which was completed from 1pm yesterday to 5am this morning):
Finished 5th in the league, they didn't call for my head because they only expected me to qualify for the Europa, which I accomplished by reaching the FA Cup Final (lost 3-0 to ManU). Lost in the Semi Final of the Capital One Cup on away goals to City. Made the quarterfinals of the Champions League, but drew Madrid and had a 4-0 thumping at the Bernabaeu.
Players: Cavani was well worth the investment. He had some clinical finishing. Walcott either played like crap or was hurt, so the Ox had a significant role, and did well for the most part. Giroud did better than expected, and by that better than Podolski, who I thought was slowing down. Arshavin score goals at times, but I didn't bring him back. Gervinho was awesome, ended up scoring 11.
Rosicky and Diaby were hurt most of the year, shocker. Cazorla was class, and Coquelin will be the next in line after Arteta, who is aging quick. Frimpong ended up playing a lot more than I anticipated, and did well. Wilshere is going to be immense, and Ramsey did well when needed.
Santos was the surprise of the year. He wasn't as bad as expected. Gibbs was doing fine, until he blew out his knee. Going to address this problem. Sagna was beast as usual, and Jenkinson is extremely underrated in this game. Sold Squillaci to Southhampton, and the rest of the back four had their moments, and their mistakes which wanted me to throw my laptop into the road (even with match prep at def. positioning 95 percent at a time).
Szczesny was class, and Mannone is a solid backup who made some really bad errors at times. Sold Fabianski to Real Madrid for 1.5 million. Enjoy the bench!
Brought in 4 kids who will be world class. 6'2 german who is 16 and finishing is at an 18 already.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
This is awesomeI took an FM Break to play SWTOR again, but will be getting some time in tonight.
You know I should apply for the job at Chelsea with my FM resume of taking them to a quadruple while playing attacking football as my reason as to why Roman should hire me. If nothing else, I will get a nice severance package when he decides to sack me lolComment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So in a match vs. Heidenheim, I lost both my GK and backup GK to injury, which means I had to play a defender out of position at keeper for the entire second half. I expected to get walloped, but I wound up winning because Heidenheim didn't get a single shot. Phew.Comment
