My enjoyment for this game is going downhill quickly. For some reason, my game will freeze at the formation screen when it loads the match engine after I've played anywhere from 1-3 matches and I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL out of FM13.

I verified the game cache. It was ok. Just a very aggravating, sudden problem.

No...I'm assuming that's how many rounds of penalty kicks it took.

Yep, that's correct. A quick check of the score showed that it was after 38 penalties each too, only 1 missed penalty.

Quick update on Leeds: We're still horribly inconsistent. Got a bit of pressure on my job as well. A few more poor results and I might be looking for another job I reckon.

This game finished 1-1, I got an 83rd minute equaliser. This is one of the most frustrating FM games I've had in a long, long time. The amount of games I've had like this and lost/drew is getting ridiculous. Rant over.

EDIT: Finally sacked a week before Christmas. Still massively frustrated. However, St Pauli offered me their job on the 26th December so I'm now in Germany! And if you don't know about the club itself, its got a fascinating story about it, there's a video here on Youtube if anyone wants a watch.

I'm strongly debating leaving Arsenal, I'm just not sure I'm cut out for those expectations, I feel that I'm going to end up overanalyzing my squad doing too many things and blerg.

If I, an idiot, can guide Arsenal to a 3rd place finish in the league, you should be fine.

I got Arsenal to 2nd once. Might be my most proud achievement even in video gaming.

When you say clear cache...you mean in game right?

Still trying to figure out why my computer performance went from 5 stars to 3 stars in game lol.

Another Arsenal story. Started with the default database and took first window transfers off.

Game 1: Lose 2-1 to Reading. Jenkinson concedes a penalty. Controlled the entire match statistically.

Game 2: Podolski sets an Arsenal record by scoring 16 seconds in the match. Ramires gets lucky and curls one past Sczeczny from about 25 yards out. Mata scored on a diving header that no one was even close to defending. 4 minutes later, Poldolski gets his brace. Walcott later makes it 3-2. Half time.

Uneventful until stoppage time, where Sczeczny botches a through ball which he should have held, Ramires who was right on top of him passed to Torres who puts it in a wide open net from about 20 yards out. 3-3 final.

Here's the game I'll decide my fate. If Spurs beat me, I'll resign with immediate effect, if I beat Spurs, I'll see it out(at least til Olsen retires from Denmark)

2013/14 is over for me. Although this time, my game has totally changed. I was sacked from Leeds in mid-December and was appointed at St Pauli in the German Second Division just after Christmas. I took 33 points from the remaining 45 (which begs the question how did I fail at Leeds?) to take third position. This meant a two legged playoff against the team who finished 16th in the Bundesliga, Kaiserslautern.

A narrow 2-1 defeat in the first leg away from home put me in a decent position to attack in the second leg at St Pauli. And attack we did! A hat-trick by Torsten Oehrl gave us a 3-0 victory, winning 4-2 on aggregate which now means I'm in the Bundesliga next season!

So much for the most frustrating FM game..

LOL @ Liverpool. They loaned my At. Madrid squad Coutinho and Shelvey for my second season. 0% wages, $0 loan fee. Are they trying to finish mid-table?
