The only French word you'll need to know while playing this game is "Merde"

It's a good thing the wife and child are asleep when I play FM sometimes as these are phrases I use:

        -****!!!
-****ing Moron you gotta score there
-What the **** were you doing with that pass?
        -Tackle him you POS!
-How the **** did you miss?
-****ing A that's what I got you for
        -I love you man!
-That's how you score a bloody goal

The emotions of this game sometimes lol

Much like you, I become quite colorful when managing. The other day I was playing before going out with her and her parents. I was under the assumption that we were meeting her parents at the place, not that they were going to meet us there.

We were playing Barça, and we had done a beautiful job of holding them off for 86 minutes. 3 goals and 4 minutes of extra time later, I walk out to her mother, looking absolutely mortified, and her father grinning ear to ear who just smiles and says "Problems with your tie?"

            Sigh.

Wow two instant classics right there. I'm usually not that loud because I still live with my parents but when I'm the only one here... let's just say I'm surprised nobody has called to make sure everything is okay.

Haha that's good. Result not so much, but we've all been there. I think that's why I have such a love/hate with this game.

BTW - last night, I was playing as Everton losing 1-0 to Man United at OT. We were dominated all over and then in the 90th, my wonderkid Massimo Bruno runs through the right flank and beats 2 defenders to score the equalizer and he was my "I love you man" moment lol

My notepad that I use for gameplanning/game recording, is literally scribbled all over with "**** Lionel Messi" 0-0 draw at 86 at Camp Nou. This.game.

I'm intrigued by the notepad Suntan . What do you record and keep track of? I always like to hear about people's approaches to the game

I know in my notebook I keep track of the key attributes I want to use for each position in my tactic and potential players, comparisons, etc.

Not too much stuff during matches, unless I notice something and want to maybe try out some new individual shouts/player specific training. I'll take a picture of a page or two sometime.

Probably obvious to most but the dark skin from 13 has been ported off, will surely be in the final version next week but no point in burning your eyes out now.

Off and away to make Sheff Wed relevant again.

So what are the early impressions of 14? I will be getting it in the next two weeks.

The match engine is a thing of beauty. The camera angles with director view is a thing of beauty. My favorite addition is when receiving match feedback during a match you apply the advice with a click of a button. So good.

That is a great addition. Even though I don't always listen, sometimes I do agree and have thought that should be an option.
