Am I the only one who wants to see the generated pictures? Sometimes if the players are really close, and I have to choose one over the other, I go with the one whose face/hair is less annoying to look at.

I'd select number two if only at the end because of his positional versatility, perhaps it's my penchant for lower teams, but I'm a sucker for guys with more than 2 positions that they're "Accomplished" at.

Also, after four years at Iruna, we've made it to Liga Adelante, it's taken immense amount of patience and signings on free transfers, thankfully we've also upgraded our youth and training facilities so that after their current expansions they will be considered "Good" My next goal is a new stadium. Paternain was just expanded to 6k, but if we want to push for La Liga, I want at least 15k so we can pull money from gate reciepts. We've grown well in four years, and we're sitting in the bottom half of Liga Adelante, but comfortably away from relegation. I just sold a few of my youth players(reluctantly) to get the club money. Another 4 years and I hope to be in, or getting close to La Liga.

Well, if you were a Leeds fan, you'd certainly get value for money with that season. I simply cannot defend. It's not that I have poor defenders, I just can't get a system that works. I've just thrown caution to the wind and gone with a "if you score 3, we'll score 4" philosophy.

I expect I'll have a short, but entertaining, stint in the Premier League, which is why I've concentrated on youth with my transfers.

Do you go with Hassle Opponents in your strategy? Maybe try a stand off style defense? Or maybe add a DM or two?

Yeah, this. Even when I outclass other teams, I still often go with a 4-4-2, control mentality, with 3 shouts (FM13):

• Drop deeper
• Stand off opponents
• Get Ball forward OR hit early crosses

I also set my team to man marking.


Man marking + the first 2 bullets seems to have been quite effective.

PSG have outbid me for two pretty good young players, so I definitely know how this feels!

In my save, the 2018 World Cup will be without Holland and Germany. England and France had to work their way through the playoffs too!

I was going to roll as the Arse, but because I've rolled as them already in beta and when the game came out, I was getting a little bored with the team. So I decided to try and replicate Brendan Rodgers and taking Liverpool back into the Champions League.

I've cancelled the Victor Moses loan already and promoted Ibe and planning to give Jerome Sinclair and Ibe minutes this season. Playing a 4-3-3

After finishing 3rd in consecutive years, my team is at 7th with 2 games left.

What a terrible way to finish the year. Already bringing in 2 strikers since we can't score at all.

Well, that was a lot easier than I thought, a board takeover and a ton of cash to upgrade the facilities, and now we're building a new stadium(projected completion 2030), and the timely Euro we were able to cash a promotion check. Thankfully, none of my spanish talent got called up to the Spain Squad, because well, it's nowhere near good enough, and my only non-spanish important players are American and Peruvian. The other teams got raided for the Euro, including the top 2 strikers, 4 midfielders, 1 goalkeeper and 8 defenders from the other three teams were away on international duty for the playoff rounds. I snuck into the final spot with some January depth signings that just made me able to rotate my squad, and I snuck into La Liga after only one year in Liga Adelante, on the record, I was still only 15 points off of the last safety spot, 10 points off the title, so it was a great year, and a stressful last three matches.

Took over in 2023-2024, as a Semi-Pro team in Segunda B, Now in 2028-2029, we're going to try and stave off relegation. I reformed the team and made it more defensive, my main goal is to try and Pulis my way to survival, sell a few players over the years for profit and eventually make it into a Euro Spot.

I just can't seem to get into a game this year like I have in years past. I think a lot of it is the removal of the old tactics system. I can't quite get it tweaked *exactly* how I want it, and it frustrates me. I've had good results, and come close to having some how I want them but it's never quite there.

I'm trying to remedy this by taking a lot of time on this next game (Poggibonsi in Italy's 2 Divisione Girone B) by setting up main screen views, player search filters and player search views specifically based around my tactic. I just gotta keep trucking.
