Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

Won a trophy in my first year. My CB got 2 yellows so I had to play for penalties as the end.

With 1 game remaining, my team was 1st with 74 points with +30 GD. 2nd place PSG has 71 points with +29 GD. I got 5th place Lyon at home while PSG has 7th Montepellier at home.

Beat Lyon 4-1, I was nervous for nothing. I expect Monaco to be much better with Falcao next year. Need to find some players that I can get with low wages since I can't offer much.

    PSG fired Blanc, haha.

I've been tempted by Newcastle, I'm not sure if I want to take the position or not.

Easily rejected Newcastle after the Interview process

but now Dortmund comes calling, I really think Arsenal is the only team I leave for at this moment though, Depends on how the interview goes.

Just started a couple of new saves. One at my buddy's house and one on my laptop.

The one on my laptop is Dartford, in Skrill Prem.

we're 40-1 odds to win and my goal is to avoid relegation, but i've challenged my players to get mid-table.

we had a great pre-season! I just hope we can stay away from the injury bug

and I found an awesome left back! Going to try to loan him out since he turns 17 before the transfer deadline (you have to be 17 right? or a pro anyways?)

I've been playing this but I haven't played in a serious save yet. I mainly wanted to manage a international team so I picked Spain but since I couldn't only manage Spain, I picked Dortmund as my club and gave them a billion dollars just to mess around and test out players(and so I could buy Arjen Robben).

Any suggestions for a starting level team for a long career? I'm considering Swansea City or a Asian team. I also don't want to manage a MLS team.

2nd season at St. Pauli is off to a good start!

I just beat Dusseldorf 4-3 to pull even with them at the top of the table.

I am scoring at a pretty good clip, I found a striker, Lennart Thy, on my reserves team last year who looked pretty good. I plugged him in and he had a pretty good second half last year. This year, he has 11 goals through the first 16 games. 3 of them came in this past game against Dusseldorf.

I started a Rangers save. It's basically cheat codes to the SPL, then you have to try and overcome Celtic then try to break through in Europe. It's fun trying to manage all of that without sending Rangers back into financial trouble *like I almost did*

With Rangers did you mean QPR or another team called that?

Kindof on the same topic. One of the clubs in my league was deducted 10 points. I didnt know FM did that. Anybody know why that could be? I can't find the news for it anywhere

Did you check in the standings page all way in the bottom? It should be in small red font explaining it.

I might try them then. In FIFA I had a old save with a Scottish team and the title race was always nice and exciting. I'm leaning towards Swansea right now or Tokyo.
