That's cool, I'm considering using the NY Red Bulls of I can turn off the salary cap. I heard you have to recreate the MLS to do that?

Yeah, you'll have to edit all the contract rules through the Editor. If I were you, I'd try to find one out there that someone has already made. It's very easy to break something in the code. Sometimes you can change something that doesn't crash the save until you're a year into it too, which would be really frustrating.

Wow, just choked away the title. After losing my 1st game to Toulouse, went on a 25 game unbeaten streak and was in 1st place from game 15 to game 37. Going into the last game of the season, I had 79 points and PSG had 78. All I needed to do was beat Toulouse, went up 2-0 in the 1st half and thought this was going to be easy. However, they scored right away to start the 2nd half, and equalized in the 75th minute to end the match in a 2-2 tie. PSG beat Valenciennes 3-1 and the title.

That sucks man...Hopefully, you'll be better next season. I've had those experiences and they are terrible

An update on my Liverpool save. I am undefeated going into Christmas. 17 wins in 17 games and I am absolutely dominating teams. I've beaten United 2-0, Arsenal 3-0, Chelsea 3-1, and City 1-0. Sturridge has 18 goals in 17 games and is just scoring for fun. Suarez has 10 goals overall, but it has been Sterling and Henderson that have been really solid. Henderson has 9 assists while Sterling has scored 8 times with 8 asists.

I've been monitoring Griezmann, Caulker, and Pap from Schalke. So far, I've only signed Sondre Rossbach, a promising Danish keeper for 900k in the January window. Also have a deal in place to sign Alef, a 17-year-old RB from Brazil with 4-star potential when he turns 18 in June

Secured passage to the Knockout stages of the Champions League, secured draws with Manchester United and split with Real Madrid, Basel was a pushover only scoring four goals over the six games. We're struggling mightly for fitness though, and we're barely winning games in league and drawing and losing games we shouldn't be, but we're still doing well. I hate to say it, but we need to drop out of the Pokal, the Champions League, or I need to resign myself to giving up the repeat title chance.

so i last mentioned how all my players get hurt.... I lost 3 first team strikers. had to recall a striker from loan and move one up from my U18 squad.

Then one of my best players (not hurt) got 2 yellows in 10 minutes. So i fined him a weeks wages. (in late october i believe) Boy was he pissed. Abysmal morale for the better part of 4 months.

                      Then this happened... october-february.

                      Spoiler

Once i figured out that we couldnt win without controlling possesion, we became a pretty solid team. I slowed the pace of games and used my strikers as false 9 or trequartista. Won a couple before my first team strikers came back. We finished the season by getting 10 points out of the last 5 matches

Also i mentioned that we were 40-1 odds to win the league and predicted to be relegated.

Disappointing end to the season, didn't help that I changed tactics in the middle of the season.

I also managed to sign Sebastian Driussi on a free.

This is killing two birds with one stone. I'm putting two players up for comparison again, although this is more for a tactical reason than the curious case of Cholakov/Novotny.

So I'm struggling to get my striker involved in my formation at the moment. I'm switching between these two and using a variety of different roles but I can't find something to stick. I've got my attacking midfielders scoring (Cholakov is usually the AMC, he's in MC due to injury), so I'm not sure how to approach the striker role.

Baugh seems to be better suited for the DLF/S role.

That tactic isn't set up to have your striker scoring at a good clip, though, if that's what you're looking for.
