I am having the most frustrating time in my created team Div 8 save...year 1 overachieved and lost in the playoff semis, second year finish one spot better and once again lose in the playoff semis (so brutal)....this year I feel like I improved my team and I'm getting killed by injuries and am sitting outside of the top 6 and my team is playing terrible. I feel like I've tried everything tactically that makes sense, and I'm kind of resigned to ride out the iffy form and see if my system that has worked well the last 2 years kicks back into gear. I've had full halves without a shot multiple times in the last 4 games.

I am very interested in getting this game and putting some major time into it. I have read through a decent portion of the thread and it is pretty clear that downloading various mods will add the correct kits/badges along with player faces and also have all the licenses right. This is something I would like to do, but am a little overwhelmed with which ones to pick. I looked on the sortitoutsi website, but wanted to ask the OS community what mods they have on their game saves. Also, what is the Andromeda pack I have seen mentioned?

I will be managing Everton and would like to have a lot of leagues in the database.

I appreciate the help in advance.

Andromeda is just a skin, it changes how the game looks.
I'd recommend looking over here on FM scouts to get everything you need. You can get the skins, face packs, logo packs, stadium pack and club kits from there. But I think the cutout faces pack is only at sortitoutsi, not sure on that.

Probably having the most aggravating season of FM ever with Rangers. The most talented team I've had in my tenure, my continental form has been amazing....my league form is the pits. Squad wanted a meeting with me because they feel I'm doing a bad job since we're sitting in 10th ten games into the season (but only 6 points out of continental places, the league this year is just beating up on each other).

Had a chance to jump up to 7th taking on last-place St. Mirren. Take an early 1-0 lead. Hit the cross bar 4 times. Have numerous other ccc and half chances. Leak a late goal in the 87th minute....back down to 10th.

Have a GD of +6...sitting in 10th place. Maddening!

Last two seasons, we've fired right out of the gates and then limped to the finish line. So I'm hoping for the opposite here this season.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO. I have lost in the promotion playoff semi-finals 3 years in a row in my STARTING division of my big climb (Isthmian Division South). I am exasperated. This is heartbreaking over and over again.

I thought i had the name fix files already but i just noticed in my year 2 save that its still grayed out.

There's 3 files you have to install.

I thought i had the name fix files already but i just noticed in my year 2 save that its still grayed out.

Did you delete and load the files in all of the db folders (I think there are 4)? (1700, 1701, etc)

Also make sure you have the latest one downloaded. There was a name fix out there for the beta, which would not work with the full game.

Also whenever FM updates you have to reapply the fix.

Had a brutal crash dump. Lost a win that put me 1 point back of first with 11 games left. Re loaded and lost that game, and have now lost 4 of 5 and sit 9 points back with 7 games left.

I like how you can send the captain to talk to players about playing time. I've sent the BFG after 2 people who complained, and afterwards, they "dropped their concerns about 1st team football."
