Finally finished my 1st season with PSG on FM17 - it was a very interesting season.

We struggled all season with injuries and then at end had some really bad form. Had a must win against AS Saint-Etienne. Kurzawa comes back from suspension after getting 2 cards his last game only to get 2 yellows in the first 15 minutes! I thought I was gonna throw the water bottle Wenger style. At that point I thought the league was doomed but fortunately we beat Stade Malherbe Caen and OM saved our asses by beating SC Bastia on the last day.

We eased through the French Cup and Coupe de la Ligue. Lost on penalties in the CL quarter final against Madrid though.

Nice thing about this season is goals can from a lot of different places.

      Top five scores -

I haven't resigned with PSG yet, I may leave or go unemployed and watch what opens up.

I'm tired of winning, so I'm boasting about it and posting it here so the FM Gods strike me down.

Klopp with the FM press conference answer IRL when asked about Pep's visit to Anfield:

“I respect them a lot but I have not been to City’s stadium this season or last to watch games. Maybe they want to watch good football”

While I'm waiting for an important bug in San Marino save to be fixed

2 games in, Wilshere hasn't gotten hurt. Unrealistic game

            nvm, realistic game

It's rough, the money dries up quickly after the World Cup. Also the limit on non-Russian players gets tedious fast.

I haven't played in almost a week. I discovered Motorsport Manager and have been playing a lot of that.

Any good? I know nothing about motorsports outside of Nascar, so didn't touch it.

I like it. Its a lot of strategy. I don't know jack about actual motorsports. I play racing games from time to time. But I don't follow any real world stuff. Or know much of anything outside some old school Indi or NASCAR stuff from the 90s I used to watch with my dad.

If you are interested, since there is no demo, check out some youtube videos of it. That is what got me to check it out. I watched a couple guys play some races. Its like FM in the fact you don't do any driving. You just setup the cars and then control when the drivers pit, and what is done during the pit. Then you manage the team by improving parts or designing new ones. You have staff management and goals set to you by the teams owner. In the off season you get to build a new car for the next with the money you earned. Its oddly dead in strategy for how simple it is.

I'd say its a good complement game to FM for myself. I can see playing them side by side to offset any frustration/boredom that pops up in one.

I didn't know this was possible

After losing 6-0 to Arsenal in the previous game, I thought I was going to get blown out again. But this comeback, damn

Not a racing fan but this is hogging my playing time. It's great and now 2 saves are a like as the rules evolve over time for each league. Drivers and staff have personality that keeps you busy. Great game IMO

Ya I have two saves going and both of them have very different rules for the same division. I like the voting for changing the rules of the next season. It makes it interesting, and much more varied per save.

Yup, Motorsport Manager is great, and the patches have really been doing a great job of shoring up some of the issues.

Good news at the end of January after beating Chelsea 6-2 and Man City 3-0

Bad news, Liverpool activated a buyback clause for Ibe which sucks since he was doing great for me as a Raumdeuter. I was this close to panic buy Zaha, but went with Mor.

Edit: First game after the window was against Liverpool and of course Ibe scored the first goal and we lost 4-1.
