Stupid aside from all of this, took one of those random stupid quizzes on facebook

https://www.apost.com/en/blog/only-g...ries-are/1719/ this one to be exact(mods feel free to delete the link if it's not okay)

I was the only one of my friends to get 23/23, and I'm not sure I have the heart to tell anyone it's because of Football Manager.

I missed 2. And I only knew a few of those because of FM also, lol. I didn't tell me the two I missed though.

Nice flying start to my second year in the PL. Channeling my inner pre-Wenger Arsenal.

Before the game, I thought I would lose this game 1-0 and them scoring their goal off a set piece and that's exactly what happened in this game.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

So I started my FM 17 save and forgot how gotdamn addicting the game was. Already finished Year 1 at Accrington Stanley. We end the season with 58 points and a respectable 16th place finish, especially when we were slotted for relegation. Mansfield, Luton and Crewe all are promoted while Moreambre and Leyton are relegated from League Two.

We were knocked out of the first round of the FA Cup by Bradford City and we made a little run in the EFL Cup making it to the 2nd round before getting steamrolled by Sunderland. We were knocked out in the 2nd round for the EFL Trophy (now CheckaTrade Trophy) by Oldham.

In other news, Arsenal won the Premier (with Wenger at the helm) followed by Tottenham, Chelsea and Man United, respectfully.

Next season, I plan to continue to use the tried and true method of loading up on high potential loanees from the big clubs, and using the potential success we can have as a springboard to a bigger club. Especially since I have 0 dollars for transfers at this club.

On a side note, how is everyone posting pics on OS nowadays? I mean I can screenshot but when I upload an url from photobucket or imgur, OS shows a broken link.

My 2nd season with Citeh is at a close and this one ended on a much better note.

As mentioned before, last year United beat me in the FA Cup Final and ended up winning the PL championship as well. Their success over me carried over to this season as they knocked me out in the FA Cup 3rd round and the Carling Cup. However, PL wise, I held 1st place from match day 1 all the way to the end. At one point had a commanding 10 point lead which I squandered. Fortunately no one else in the league wanted to take this opportunity of my slump and I ended up winning the PL in one of the tightest races I've ever had in this game. All 4 top spots alive for the title on the final match day!

Champions League, I met United in the Semi-Finals. Mo has owned me in this game but I played park the bus mixed in with strong counters here and there and took a 2-0 win at home in the 1st leg. Blew that lead and ended up moving on to the final to face Arsenal after a PK shootout. A few years ago Arsenal beat me in the final when I was with PSG so I was looking forward to some revenge. This was a tremendous match which saw me go down 1-0, go up 2-1 and then after an OG go on 2-2 which lead again to a PK shootout which saw Citeh lift the trophy.

What a ride. I will likely move on this summer to somewhere else. Barca has been in financial trouble last few years and hasn't won a trophy in the last 3. But we'll see... may just give it another season at Citeh.

I play FM on Windowed mode, so at times I use "Gyazo" cut some parts on the screen and post that. Tinypic when I use screenshot

I feel bad, I want to continue playing this Dudley Town save, but after staying up in the Premier League I just don't have motivation to actually keep playing it, I know the PL is going to be a slog for 4-5 years before I start entertaining Europe and I don't know if I'm up to that after 17 years of slogging through the lower English leagues. I don't know what the point of this post is, I'm going to resign just to see what the game says.

31 staff members left. It's over. Time for a new save.....

                        Edit: lmao

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who offered up tactical advice. I stuck with working through things that worked and didn’t in multiple saves and finally feel like I have a better understanding.

Currently second in the league with Arsenal, and have my group won in the Champions League with a game left to play—a group with Monaco and Real Madrid. (the 4-0 win against Madrid saw them drop to ten men early)

Not sure how long my current run can go, but I wouldn’t be doing nearly as well without deciding/being encouraged to stick with creating my own tactics.

So I scraped my into the future idea. Nothing was actually changing. Even after 170 years. So I've gone back to my long term journeyman save. Where after being out of a job for a year Liverpool offered me an interview.

Yeah I've seen a few of these around. Its what made me want to do it. But it just takes soo long. I may come back to this at some point. And just let it run over night for a month or so and see where it ends up.
