I thought I'd give a little update on my Napoli save...

Things are going very, very well. I'm currently lying second in the Serie A, with two of my losses coming when van der Vaart, Hamsik, and Gargano were unavailable. I've only made two signings (van der Vaart in a p/ex at the beginning of the season and Annan for $7mil). I have Vladimir Weiss (free), Angel Di Maria ($9.75mil), and a 15 year old Czech regen CM ($1.9mil) coming in in the summer.

Got beat in FA Cup, 6th round.

Finished, my 2nd EPL season finished 3rd in table. Man City repeated as champs, they are just dominating.

Got that CL spot for next season. Got my National Team Chile in Copa America with a tough group: Brazil, USA, and Uruguay.

You should be in great shape then Di Maria and Weiss will bolster your squad. I like not signing too many players. it adds more challenge than just buying everyone in sight.

I just won La Liga with 6 games left My goal now is to go for the perfect season. Ibrahimovic at 42 goals and 14 assists. I'm hoping he'll hit 50 goals.

We picked up a huge 3 points against Juve. It was a hard-fought battle (10 yellows and 2 reds) in a rainy Turin, but we were able to pull it out in the end!

Just took out Bayern 2-1 away in the 1st leg of the CL semi finals while Real Madrid beat Man United 2-1 as well. This sets me up nicely to beat up on Real for a 5th time this season LMAO!!!!

Ibrahimovic and Messi are a great partnership. 74 goals and 43 assists between them!

Got contract extention with Chelsea - 3 years. Season will start soon and will post new lineup. Man City back to back Champions; see if I can give them a run this year. Also got Champions League this year.
Did not make it out of 2015 Copa America group of death, and resigned afterwards; BECAUSE BOB BRADLEY FINALLY FIRED AS USA COACH; I APPLIED AND GOT JOB, FINALLY!! whitesox will now how long I have been waiting for this chance. Start run for WC 2018, will let you guys know who is on squad still, and new faces. I know I have 2 players on chelsea squad that are on squad, Dempsey and Spector.

Well, all was going beautifully. With three games left to play, I was down 6 points to Inter (and down 6 in goal differential), but was playing them in that third to last game. Well, I won 2-0. I'm only down 3 points with 2 games to play. Yet, in the 81st minute, this happens :

I have had that happen to me in past FM games. I was up 6-0 on Inter in a CL knockout game and lost Fabregas to an injury. I was keeping my fingers crossed, but lost him for the season

Hopefully, you can pull through the last 2 games without VDV. With Hamsik, Quag, Cigarini, you should be OK provided your last 2 opponents aren't too hard

Beat Tunisia in the 2nd Round and Cameroon in the Quarters. I now have Australia (!!!) in the Semi's. They beat Slovakia and Argentina (1-0, Cahill scored in the 74th) on their way to the semi's. The other matchup is Holland v Czech Republic. Holland beat Ecuador in Extra Time and Germany on PK's. Czech Republic beat the US and then Paraguay on PKs to advance.

I lost Loic Remy to injury. Henry and Benzema dominated up front against Tunisia, Benzema with a brace and an assist in a 5-0 win. Jeremy Menez scored his first ever goal for France with a screamer against Cameroon to put me through. Left footed volley off the post in the 75th.

Looks like a France/Holland WC final, but we'll see what happens.

Didn't work out for me. I lost 3-1 away to Catania then won 1-0 home against Sienna. Not too impressive. Lavezzi and Cigirani were suspended unfortunately. Hoffer just isn't that good up top. Second in the table isn't too shabby though, especially when you're predicted to come in 14th...

Maxwell, the LWB/LB/LM from Barca will be joining Napoli in the summer. My squad is shaping up quite well for next season. Now, I just need a right mid. Perhaps I'll run an asymmetric 4-2-3-1. Maybe it'll look like this...
