***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So I’ve qualified for the champions league, lost the FA Final to City in the 119th minute 1-0, and Barca have just offered me a job interview.
Edit: I took the interview, they didn’t want me, but Bayern have now offered me an interview plus a job, which I have turned down.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So in my universe, Mourinho was sacked and replaced by Luciano Spaletti, who decided it was wise to transfer list Martial (valued at 68 million) for 34 million. Easiest decision ever on that one.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
The dangerous part about playing FM at work, when things like this happen:
Spoiler
Booked our place in the final with a 90th minute winner by Renato Sanches. I nearly shouted from my desk, but managed to contain my excitement, even through the excruciatingly long injury time. Final of the Europa League, Final of the Coupe de France, basically locked in to 2nd place in the league, and I've already announced my resignation after one year. We'll see where the journey takes me after a potential double and an abrupt resignation just one year into this job.
And this brings a close to my one-year adventure at Lyon:

SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCC CCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK IT PSG

In my world, was tooling around and came across Roma (season 2), and find who to be managing them? Arsene Wenger! They have signed Ospina, Giroud, and have Mkhitaryan on loan.
They're top of the table through 7 weeks.Arsenal | New York YankeesComment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Those transfers are nuts. How did you get Martial for so cheap??? Also $55M for Leno? Wowza...

He was transfer listed and the asking price was 34 million. He valued at 68. As for Leno, it was PSG so I racked on several million of what I thought I could get for him.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Man how long does it take to get a player to become 'natural' at a new position?
I've been playing Torreria in the Ball Winning Midfielder role for a season and a half, essentially every single match--yet, he still seems a long way off from being 'fully competent'.
Are there any tips or suggestions? Or, have I simply not given it enough time?Arsenal | New York YankeesComment
