This news isn't coming out of Holland is it?
If it isn't, this might actually have some weight. If it is however, this is probably just the Netherlands FA, hoping that if they say RVP will be fit for the World Cup enough, it might actually happen"The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Nope - from Arsene himselfIt'll be great to have him back, but I'm not expecting any miracles. He missed 4 months so he'll need to regain match fitness and shake off rust.

Wow, so far Birmingham are showing that a team full of tough, physical English players can dive and go down with the best of them.
Well, I'm just going to go ahead and blame Almunia for costing us the chance at the title this season. His blunders are completely inexcusable, and it's absolutely disgusting that he's managed to stay on this team.
Yay, another top 4 finish, another wasted opportunity, just another season for us.
Perhaps once I calm down, and it's not two minutes past the whistle I'll feel differently, but whatever good feeling I had about this season just went out the door.Last edited by Krebstar; 03-27-2010, 12:55 PM.Comment

Yup, that should do us.
We just have too many holes on this team to compete consistently enough to win the league. We have stretches of brilliance, but in the end we have way too many screwups and depth issues to put together results through out the season."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Call me crazy, but while yesterday's result was disappointing, I still don't think we're out of it. Birmingham was always going to be a tough fixture because they're a decent side. Dropping points with some bad keeping sucks, but not the end of the world
We still have a relatively easy fixture list and United and Chelsea play each other next week. One or both of those teams will drop points so who knows what can happen.
Our squad depth is pretty depleted because of all the injuries we've had. Let's face it - we have lost a lot of players at various points of the season due to injuries. If we were close to a clean bill of health, I think we're a much better side.
It's not over yet. A minor setback, but we have 6 games left to play so let's see what happensComment

It always seems that if we draw, we score a magnificent goal, but then an error makes us give one up.Comment

I also think one or both of Arshavin and Nasri should have been in the starting 11. When they were subbed in the team got instantly better. Maybe Arsene was saving them for Barca, but I think we would have won if they had started.
Of course, we also would have won if Almunia wasn's such a mediocre keeper.Comment

We may not be dead yet, but were in the casket and in the ground. All thats left is for somebody to cover us up. And United will do just that if they beat Chelsea this weekend."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Yeah, it does seem that way.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Almunia makes me illAnyway, now we shift on to Barca tomorrow and while I enjoy watching Barca, I'll be pulling for my Gooners. I think we have a chance if we play well. As good as Barca is (and they are good), they're not as fluid as they were last season. Part of it is that Ibra has struggled and really doesn't fit into the Barca system. I've watched all their games and unlike last year, they're squeaking more wins.
Having said that, we're at a disadvantage with our back 4 and goalkeeper. We will press Barca though and hopefully, we can come out with a good win at the Emirates.
As for the Premier League, we will be in tough, but we're still 4 points out with 6 games to play. If United and Chelsea draw, which is a possibility, we're 2 points out. If Chelsea wins, we're 3 points out if we too win.
A lot can and will happen. The more we kept being written off, the more things have changed. I know I'm trying to be optimistic, but we should have been out of the race in January and we're still in it
