Arshavin missed a few chances and Hull were resilient, but I'm glad we came away with 3 points. We are showing that we can win ugly like Man United and Chelsea can. That will come in handy down the road.

Bendtner was clutch again. I really hope it's a sign of things to come for him because when he's on, he's got what Arsenal lack - height.

Anyway, I'm looking at ordering a hoodie or lineup jacket for me Hmm...decisions

I agree, we've been class this year against teams we 'should' beat.

PS- If you ordering something from the official arsenal store maybe we could split shipping on some stuff

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***

I'm sure a lot of you already saw this on the Arseblog, but here is a "rumoured" kit for next season:

I like it, but highly doubt it's authentic for a few reasons:

          1. The sponsor is so small. You just don't see that for on-field kits.
          2. It does not have the current badge/crest. This isn't as dubious to me as the extremely small sponsor logo.
          3. It's too good to be true. Nike loves to push their "innovative" designs, which this most certainly is not -- which is a good thing, don't get me wrong.

With next year being an anniversery season (sort of, 1886 to 2011 = 125 years), I can see how a "throwback" theme could be in the cards. But I can't get my hopes just yet. I'm not as opposed to the current home kits as most gooners seem to be -- I did buy one afterall -- but this would scream "buy me!" if true. And my large RVP is a little snug in the chest/armpits (even though I did go from 200+ to 190+ since buying it), so I have my excuse...

I agree. I like it, but we'll wait and see. I actually really like our kit now and love the away and 3rd kit. Just my opinion though

I really, really love our home kit now. I understand going back to the white sleeve would be loved by most, but I just love the amount of red they currently have on them.

However, a throwback style, even if it's a third kit, would be just incredible to see.

We get Barca in the CL. Not happy about it since I like Barca and they're very good, but it should be an entertaining tie. I think if we stay healthy and play well, we can give them a run for their money.

                    Damn you Bruins!

So Henry makes his return. Barca will certainly be a tall order, but so would a number of other teams. Although the idea of Messi running at Campbell or Silvestre does make me cringe...

actually should be clichy making the most of marking messi - unless barca has changed formations.

What is this, pick on Qb day? I envision one of his trademark cut in from the flank dribbles ending with one of the old men standing in place around the top of the box with a look of bewilderment. Then I cringe.

haha - not to continue to pick, but vermalean plays LCB, so that helps us a bit. i cannot wait for this tie. i think arsenal really has a shot.

If healthy, I fully expect Messi to score 10 goals in the 2 legs.

10 goals in 2 legs is a bit of an exaggeration lol. TBH, unless our defense plays 2 brilliant games and Almunia plays like Gigi Buffon or Iker Casillas, Barca will score a few goals

But, Arsenal offer Barca a different challenge as we play a passing game and don't put 11 men in defense. Either way it will be an intriguing matchup.
