On a serious note though, (and as you may have guessed I'm not too familiar with Marvin Martin) but he looks to be the exact type of player we need to stop buying at this moment in time. For the past 5-6 years all Wenger has purchased is players who look to be heading into stunning careers and are just reaching the early portion of what most consider prime ages for footballers, but it doesn't pan out. By the time half of these players are reaching top potential, if they get there, they are frustrated with not winning anything (albeit they only have themselves to blame) and they are starting to leave for other clubs that will buy anything and anyone to win.

This coming week is a HUGE test for not only fans but Wenger as well. Having the fact that two of our best players want out and the fact most of our players (mostly our main suspects) are out!!

How bad is the Vermaelen injury? Heard he got injured in the last friendly.

Jack Wilshere has withdrawn himself from the England squad due to his ankle injury.

Also, it appears Oxlade-Chamberlain is going to be our next signing. Not a CB...just a £9 million winger. Ridiculous. Unless, this means we're selling Nasri and will use that money to fund the transfer of a CB.

I haven't seen anything yet on TV5's injury, but I'm guessing we'll have to wait for Arsene's press conference to find out if he plays or not.

There's a great site I go on for Fantasy Football:

FPL Tips, Advice, Team News, Statistics, and Predicted Lineups for Fantasy Football games such as Premier League, UCL, Bundesliga, FanTeam, and Allsvenskan.

They are pretty accurate on injuries.

They say TV Back injury Suffered a "slight" problem in the final pre-season game with Benfica on 6/8 according to Arsene Wenger.

Also RVP was injured in the same match. It says: Ankle injury Suffered against Benfica on 6/8 which saw him replaced at half-time. Arsene Wenger stated after the game that he was unclear on the extent of the injury.

I'm sure RVP's and TV5's respective knocks are only minor and they will be back soon, just like last year.

                    Oh crap...

So that's the major signing Arsene reference a few days ago.

Said this in an earlier post that we somehow someway drop the ball on trying to acquire these world class players. Had enough money at the times to buy Ozil, Remy, Matiudi, Gamerio, Tasci, Marin, Khedira, Mata, Sahin, and etc. (Mind the spelling). I guarantee you that if we had got any of these players we really wouldn't care if Cesc and Samir left. But in typical fashion we keep f**king up!<O</O

If so, I'm throwing something out the window. Last I saw was £5 now and £5 to be added on later.

We could get a CB for a bit over £15 million.

It works out to 12 million!!!! For a 17-year-old in the Championship last season. Granted, I've heard really positive things about him....or it could be the English hype.

I'm surprised we didn't sign a CB though because that's what we're crying for Arsene!!!!
