Bad news, I just read that Wilshere could be out for up to two months now as he missed training today. I have a feeling he made his ankle injury worse by training over the weekend, he should have rested.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
I have a feeling he will most likely not leave this year, I don't see Lille selling their two best players last year to Arsenal, first Gervinho and then him. Lille won't have a chance in the Champions league if they let him go this season as they already lost Yohan Cabaye to Newcastle. My guess Arsenal will get Hazard next season but I wont be suprise if they make pick him up now.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Would anyone find it crazy or stupid of us to break the bank for Sneijder? I feel with the way our defense has shown resilience and the bulk of our problems coming from our lack of creativity and killer attitude up front, he could solve a lot of the problems just himself. I know we still need depth in total, but I feel like his style of play can solve a bunch of our problems and finding one player in 8 days is sure easier than finding 4-6.Comment

I don't think we'd be breaking the bank, as he'd be about...£35 million? We're getting that for Cesc and £22 million for Nasri.
Also, let's not forget that if we make multiple signings, it's likely they've been deals that have already been discussed behind closed doors.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
I said break the bank because he is probably valued at around 35M and I wouldn't doubt that Inter, if willing to sell at all, would ask for closer to 40-45M for such an important player and this late in the transfer window.Comment

If we wait any longer for Hazard he will be out of our price range or be joining a super club. Its a simple as that really.
Its now or never for Hazard, in terms of getting him at a decent price.
Now with the Wilshere stuff coming out, its a must to get another creative CM. This season keeps getting worse and worse and were just 3 games in. This club have really dug themselves quite a hole."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

The club must know that more players are needed for us to have any chance in the CL group stages. I'm looking forward to who they bring in. Side note: quit losing players.ARSENAL FC SAN ANTONIO SPURS HOUSTON TEXANS

This season has all the makings of a cluster****. I don't even like our chances of getting our first win of the season over Swansea (game after Man U). There is absolutely no creativity in the midfield, we won't beat teams the way we've been playing.Blind to this impending fate

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Arsenal wouldnt be able to sign Sneijder even if Arsenal is willing to pay the transfer fee. It's because Arsenal has a wage cap of like 100k/week.
Arsenal wouldnt be able to sign any world class players since wages are now way above 100k for those players. They need to reconsider their wage cap if they seriously want some top class players.
As of now, Arsenal can only sign up and coming players and good players who are much older.
Example, Arsenal offered Nasri 90k/week but Man C is giving him like 150k/week. That's more than 50% wage increase.
Who wouldnt want such an increase in wages?
Rooney is like at 200k+/week.Comment
