Well, a much better second half. Great interplay by Sagna and Walcott on that last goal.

If we didn't make the group stage, I don't think we'd try and get more players, but I think we sign two players before the window closes. A CB and a MF.Comment

I'm just hopping on the Gunners bandwagon. Enjoying reading up on everything and was able to catch the last two matches. Looking forward to the draw tomorrow and date with Man U on Sunday.Comment

As for the United match...yikes. If we play like we did today, we'll score, but we'll also allow several goals.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Just finished watching the game. Not watching it live always takes some of the sting out of it, even when I don't know the outcome. But tonight I was yelling, clapping, cheering, and barking at the ref as much as any game. All I can say now is... Thank goodness.
Good to see Gervinho step up in a big game. That's encouraging for his future with team. Jenkinson defended well for a kid making his first European start.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
I am looking for at least three or four signings from Wenger before the transfer window closes. A center back, a midfielder, and an "experienced" left back is needed. Mathieu Valbuena would be a great replacement for Nasri I think. Even though Valbuena is small I feel he could fit in well with Arsenal. I still would like to see Scott Parker back in London, Wenger needs to get him at least on loan for the season. As for Center Back I am seeing either Cahill or Samba but it remains to be seen if he will really purchase either of these players.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
I strongly believe we need at least 3 signings if we seriously want to push for a CL spot this year. A CB, a midfielder, and a attacker because Arshavin is trash and we have no depth on the front line."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
I agree about your attack. With Cesc and now Nasri out of the picture the goal scoring is going to rely HEAVILY on RVP. You never know which Theo Walcott is going to turn up, Arshavin looks like he can't be bothered. Gervinho can't play again until mid September due to his red card. Bendtner is likely being sold since being left out of the CL games and Wenger has no faith in the goal-shy Chamakh. I think you need a proven goal scorer, not one that has potential. You need a player for NOW, not five years down the line.Comment

The awesome thing about Scott Parker too is that he can get forward, pass pretty well and score. The only thing about him is his lack of an aerial game but everywhere else he is pretty good.Comment

I think our attack needs sorted out before our defense. As long as TV5 stays healthy I have no worries about our back line. If anything needs help at the back we need another LB. Sagna looks very uncomfortable at that spot and needs to be played where he can make an impact. Nothing against Jenkinson as he has done very well at RB but I would rather see Traore get a chance and move Sagna back to RB."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
A couple transfer rumours I am hearing. First, that Arsenal want Mikel Arteta from Everton for 10mil euros and that Wenger is looking to possibly sign Raul Albiol from Real Madrid. I also heard we were trying to get Kaka on loan but the deal fell through because Madrid want him sold. Arteta sounds like he could be good for Arsenal as he is an amazing passer.Comment
