I think he will buy someone. He knows that this is his best chance at a title since 2007-08 and it's wide open. The money's there Arsene, buy someone good!

realistically who is there to buy?

Berbatov makes the most sense, his contract is ending and can probably be bought for cheap. Pato is still there and can be bought for a low price and still is an upgrade from Bendtner. Beneteke will probably cost too much.

I think the best solution is to go either Berba or Pato now to get by and then throw down real money this summer.

Berba lacks pace but with Ox coming back he'd be solid and likely cheap. Pato gets hurt a lot but there's no denying that he has skills. I wonder if he'd go to England as I am reading that he has a preference to play in Serie A

Arsene Wenger reveals the latest update on the state of his squad ahead of Monday's trip to Villa Park

The Ox will play Monday and Giroud and Ozil are back. Rambo and Gibbs may play was well

Berba is slow, but he finds dangerous pockets of space and can hold up play and hold the ball. That physical presence is nice to put with the small midfield players we have and quick full backs

he also has experience and its not like he has to play every game. both him and podolski can give Giroud a break when he needs it.

I am actually pretty excited with this team. Players are stepping up when they have to. At this point injuries don't bother me as much as they have in the past. With Walcott out, I bet we will see Rambo and maybe Wilshere coming back with a vengeance.

Wilshere needs to step up big time on the right side cause his play against Spuds shows he doesn't need to play in the 10 hole. With Theo out, Jack has his chance to solidify his role in the squad and take the next steps

Sagna has been offered a two year deal, but on the same wages. We can and should do better than that. I hope we can get Rosicky to stay too. He has been great and is really a very "young" 33 because he basically lost 2-3 years due to his hamstring injuries.

Ramsey doesn't play nearly as well on the right, so I'm hoping we see a lot of Ox and Gnabry at that spot.

As for Sagna, it would be incredibly stupid to not offer him a raise. He's part of the best defense in the EPL (so far), and it would be stupid to break that up because we low-balled a player.

Should we expect any big signing for Arsenal in this transfer window.

I would love for Arsene to re-sign Sagna - that would be a "big" signing to me, right now anyway.

I don't know who's out there that would be "big" right now. ?? Nothing Ozil big, that's for sure.

Apart from the game on opening day and the lackluster performance at ManU (just felt the team wasn't playing the way they could, or have this season so far), have been very pleased with what they have accomplished on the pitch. Newcastle wasn't pretty, but got the 3, Everton was a bit of a let down - but proving to be a stingy defense, so not a bad result. Overall, very excited with the play and adjustments that not only the manager has made but the players as well when in the heat of battle.

Nice to return to the top of the table and see Giroud get on score sheet. However, man did they play like doo doo in the second half, no sense of urgency going forward.

It would be really wonderful if City and Chelsea could have a slight slip, so we could have a tiny bit of a cushion. But for now, we'll just have to keep winning.

Fulham should not be too much of a task.
