Yeah but it'll be worth it when we're hoisting the PL trophy, which might be sooner when we think if get some better players this window.

I don't expect any significant signings till after the world cup. Players get injured and teams needs can change. Also the value of some players might rise.

I think it was a good decision not to get Cesc, at least not at this time. I think it is going to cost us a large amount to lure a world class striker to the team and they need to make that move first before they can address the other major needs of the team. However if we can get what we need and Cesc, that would be unlikely but awesome.

I'm really not even upset at him. It's the club I'm more pissed at. We passed on adding that kind of midfield depth.

We better have something lined up, otherwise I don't believe we have money to spend to build a squad that can win the league or the CL.

The bottom line is - Cesc wanted to come back - we had the right of first refusal and we declined. Cesc needed to sign somewhere else, and Chelsea's where he went. Can't fault him at all. I agree with Krebstar. We'd better have some ridiculous Ozil like move lined up because so far, we haven't done anything.

Liverpool has added Lambert, Can, Moreno (possibly), and maybe Lallana

Chelsea has added Cesc, likely Costa, and have Lukaku (maybe) and Courtois (likely) coming back from loans

City and United will spend money so no need to worry about them

On the other hand, I do worry about us. Being linked to players doesn't count. Gotta do something Arsene and not 1 game into the season after a loss

If we sign a RB, a DM, and a striker, who are all of some quality, then I'll be okay. For awhile.

But the first time I see Arteta laboring through the midfield due to fatigue from starting too much because of injuries, I'll lose my mind and think about Cesc playing in that spot.

We'll see, I guess.

yeah but you know Wenger is most likely to sign someone young like Draxler over Cesc when it comes to depth.

On another note, I am willing to bet they are using Vela as bait to sign Griezemann or at least I would be.
