Yeah but Juventus is sniffing around now so I wouldn't get too excited yet. Them, not Liverpool are the biggest threat to getting him at this point. The Higuain fiasco has scarred me forever and I've learned that until the player holds the kit, it doesn't mean anything. Plus Sanchez won't be announced until after Barca has Suarez wrapped up more than likely.

Juve doesn't have the cash unless they sell someone quickly.

Sanchez and Debuchy seem to be getting closer and closer to being real.

The Telegraph is reporting we're again looking at Lars Bender. I'd love him for a true defensive midfield spot. Perhaps there's some weight to the rumor considering we bid £19 million for him last year. Apparently.

As exciting as Sanchez would be, Lars Bender would send me OVER the moon and may be the last missing piece for this squad. The club is gonna have to raise the bid to around 25 million if we truly want him. I'd much rather have him over Khedira or schneiderlin. Passing rate a little lower than, yet close enough to Arteta but with the grit and reading of the game like Flamini. Even if we get Sanchez, it would be our best signing.

Yeah, didn't realize how hard Italian football has fallen. Crazy they don't have the cash to make it happen unless Pogba or Vidal leaves.

Sanchez, Debuchy and Lars Bender would be so good. I wouldn't mind Schneiderlin either because he's EPL proven. If we grab these 3 we only need a CB (if TV5 leaves) and a GK. If Juve somehow trumps us and gets Sanchez then I won't be responsible for the chaos I'll cause. Really want him here.

Speaking of which, what would you think about getting either of those two over Bender? After watching Pogba in the WC, I have become a fan, although I wonder if he more of an attacking midfielder.

One can only dream about a Vidal-Ramsey midfield.

After passing on Cesc, I just don't see us turning around and paying 40-60 million pounds for Pogba or Vidal. I strongly believe we are only in for a Defensive Mid and that's it in that part of the pitch. Pogba is plenty powerful enough to play back there, but he's Yaya Toure powerful going forward. Shame to waste his talents shielding the back line.

Changing the subject, if we get Sanchez, I still want us to kick the tires on Remy, especially if Campbell isn't ready to contribute right away and has to go on loan again. If Arsene can get him for 5-6 million it's worth a shot to me. Heck I'm open to Anything to not see Sanogo out there

Lots of sources saying the Sanchez deal is done, Sky Sports say it's close:

So, Sanchez for 30m seems like a incredible deal given that Lallana went for 25m.

Apparently Arsene basically confirmed the Sanchez move on French tv today and it will be announced tommorrow or maybe Thursday to line up with the Puma kit reveal. Kinda of silly cause everybody has already seen the new kit

I'm drooling at the prospect of Sanchez, Ozil, and Ramsey lining up in the same midfield. We're going to create so many chances next season. Barring catastrophic injuries, of course.
